My personal experience :
Once you make up your mind for it, see it as a goal and let it remain fresh in your mind through out your days in school. Secondly, chose a course you are most able, talented and one you have flair for. Passion is the driving force behind a sustained hardwork.

Ensure you define your threshold score in each course /subject. In making this, make provision for allowance to accommodate uncertainties. For instance, if 70 and above is "A" grade, then you can scale yours to 80. Don't ever work with 70 score borderline. Apportion this to tests, assignments and exams.

Enlist all your courses and assign grades to them at the beginning of every semester. And consequently work with it. Don't ever resume any semester without doing three things.

Consult other "materials" besides the classroom work especially on areas you are not yet grounded. When studying, make relevant jotting /notes. They are always helpful during revision.

Try as much as possible not to miss lectures.
Identify with bright minds in your department, those in your level and those ahead of you.

In the classroom, be visible, and be attentive. Make your notes in your own language while lecture is delivered. Ones notes are easily comprehended and aids in faster assimilation.

Never be too quick to answer questions when thrown up by Lecturer in the class. Before you answer, ensure it's a question most people don't know and articulate your points brilliantly. Distinguish your self before the lecture among your peers. This makes your Lecturer to identify you even when marking your scripts. But, never exude pomposity. Be gentle and humble.

Before exams, lay your hands in past questions and solve the questions. If possible, teach your inner colleagues because in the process of doing so, you master the approach and steps more.

During exam or written tests, ensure you start from questions you know very well and explain in details. Creating a good impression in the beginning forces the Lecturer to release your due marks even in subsequent answers. Be time conscious while answering questions.

Start early enough. Don't start when it's already late.

Learn some skills especially during your IT or immediately after graduation or during NYSC. Don't rely on your good certificate.

Good certificate is good, but great skill is awesome.

Finally, understand the fact there is an invisible being, without whom, you can do nothing. Acknowledge him in all your ways and all your plans.

It worked for me. I am sure it will work for you too if you apply them correctly.

This niggar called ogbuoji is just a paper weight senator. Whether he stays in pdp or apc, one common thing is that he can not be returned as a senator again. The powers that be in Ebonyi has shot him off. He knows this.

The incumbent governor dictates the tune right now and ogbuoji is never in the good books of gov Dave Umahi.

I use to think that this man called Tinubu has Nigeria interest at heart. I used to think this man is a progressive thinking man. So you are insinuating that I only had 3.53 from the entrance exam. Not just possible, unless there is a mistake somewhere, like I said earlier.

Let it be so. It seems the entrance exam is not yet added. We were asked 40 questions and there is no correlation between 23.53 and 40 questions when you work it out in percentage.

Probably, that 23.53 could be a weighted score based on undergraduate result.

I do not understand the modalities /criteria being used to arrive at the scores. I don't even know if the scores is a combination of performance on entrance exam plus that of class of graduation on undergraduate level.

Seriously, I am totally confused.
And, does it mean the result for entrance exam is out? I mean result for masters entrance exam.
