PoliticsRe: EFCC Probing Jonathan, We Will Invite Him To Respond To Our Evidences – Magu by Politicowizard(m): 12:39pm On May 16, 2016
Magu of a man seriously need his cerebrum checked.

What stops him from disclosing the figure to the public?

If your biggest achievement will be establishing evidence against GEJ, pls do it fast, the Zombies are running out of patience.

But in the end, if u fail to disclose to Nigerians what you have recovered, then, you are corrupt too. May 29 is less than two weeks from now. We are anxiously waiting as PMB will be telling us his achievements so far within his first yr in office.
PoliticsRe: FG To Militants: We Are Open To Dialogue by Politicowizard(m): 12:04am On May 08, 2016
The law of karma at play.
Someone used bokoharam menace to gain power.
Another person will surely use Niger-Delta militancy to unseat him.

This vicious cycle will continue until the regions/zones that were forcefully amalgamated finds a common ground which is either seceding the components or confederal system of government.

Things are really falling apart.
The centre seems not to hold any more.

The drama is unfolding.
Nigerians are watching.

"The New Sheriff", where is he?
Hope he is still in town.

In this digital age, it's quite nauseating seeing a president making comments that are highly provocative, (proscribing militancy as terrorists and treating them as such) and ethnic remarks ( The concept of 5 and 95%).

If he fails to employ diplomacy, fair play, equity, and all inclusiveness, then, he will be making the history as the very last Nigerian president!

Though you have your weaknesses as a falible being, pls try and improve on those shortcomings.

By virtue of governance and upholding tenets of democracy, we can unequivocally state the difference between you and the present president.

PoliticsRe: House To Send 2016 Budget To Presidency In Two Weeks by Politicowizard(m): 7:54pm On Mar 30, 2016
This budget has now been turned into political histrionics. A political game between the executive, the legislature and other interests. The economy of this nation is on the brink of collapse. Nigerians are suffering. Government seems less concerned.

Expect another episode after two weeks.
I weep for this nation.
It's quite unfortunate.

This change seems to be a mirrage.
PoliticsRe: Why Dasuki Will Remain In Detention – Presidency by Politicowizard(m): 10:01pm On Mar 29, 2016
President Buhari who I must say has the highest regard for the rule of law.”

Garba pointed out that Buhari remained the best friend of the rule of law and due process

Imagine Garba saying this to Nigerians.
This very statement is highly far from the truth.
EducationRe: PROVE to show that Making First class In UNI Is Harder Than Distinction In POLY by Politicowizard(m): 4:31pm On Mar 23, 2016
4.5/5=0.9
3.5/4=0.875

Therefore, 0.9>0.875...proved!

Again, the interval between the grades are wide in university grading unlike Polytechnic grading system where successive grades are close. For instance, in the university, an A=5.0 qualifies you for first-class; B=4.0 knocks you off from first-class. However, in the Polytechnic, an A=4.0 gets u distinct; B=3.5 still keeps u in distinct.

Finally, I tested both waters. In my OND, (federal poly unwana), I didn't put in much effort, I had 3.66. Through direct entry( FUTO), I thought it was business as usual, my first GPA was 3.82, not withstanding my doubled effort. In the end, and by the grace of God, I had 4.56 as my CGPA.

I wount talk on the variation in course content, some insatiable professors and other factors that doesn't favor good academic grade in the university.

I am not in any way trying to undermine, demure or devalue distinction but when we compare issues like this, one need to see things from the prism of sound reasoning and objectivity, devoid of any prejudice and bias.

Can't you atleast hide your ethnic biasness and bigotry and view issues on the prism of objectivity?

It's quite pitiful for this show of shame, shallow mindedness, bigotry, hate, and acrimony.

Irredeemably pathetic!

TBH, sometimes, I'm forced to believe the president is scared of Amaechi. Dunno why

It's because, Amuechi sponsored his presidential election in a substantial amount. That is why bubu will continue to keep mute over Amuechi.

Should bubu try to go against Amuechi, then some of the cats will be let out of the bag. Bubu's holier than thou posture, his much touted integrity, and his sainthood will be seriously punctured!!

Hope you understand now.

Congratulations to them all.
But sadly, our govt is not doing anything in harnessing these young talents for all round national development.

Until our leaders begin to look inward and making the best use of what we have, I doubt if there will be any meaningful and sustainable development.

When I was in primary school, I was told Nigeria is among the group of developing nations.
The categorization didn't change during my secondary education, even during my undergraduate days.

Today, I doubt if Nigeria is still developing or retrogressive among underdeveloped nations.

We have lost our priorities. Attitudinal paradign shift and uneccessary social media celebrity news with virtually no societal positive impact have taken the centre stage.

What a country!!!

PoliticsRe: $1m On Foreign Trips: Fayose Can Say ‘ Whatever He Likes’ – Buhari by Politicowizard(m): 2:13pm On Feb 07, 2016
I thought some undemocratic elements who are deep- neck in partisanship said presidency should not dignify Fayose with a response. Unfortunately, the president has disappointed them.
LESSON: Silence is not golden at all times. Again, silence in most cases could be interpreted as acceptance. You can ask GEJ what happened to him when he allowed Mr Lai to spread the propaganda thereby putting GEJ in a box.

The truth be told, though the messenger may not be a saint, objectively speaking, he raised pertinent issue.

The presidency in his trenchant response however tried to justify his reasons for junketing around the globe on grounds of politics and economy. Again, in his response, he questioned how fayose arrived at the travel fare but at the same time, buhari failed to put the record straight by failing to mention a figure. Until he mentions an average figure, what fayose said remains valid.

PoliticsRe: My Fears For Buhari’s Change Agenda - Olusegun Obasanjo by Politicowizard(m): 8:34am On Feb 02, 2016
It is becoming crystal clear that this current APC govt lacks the capacity to bring a creative positive change they promised nigerians. If their chief navigator can express doubts just 8months after swearing-in, then Nigerians are in serious trouble.
How can sb who showed us where he was taking #30 sachet Milo during campaign period suddenly turn around to appropriate billions for his annual meal in the present day economic adversities? Is he not morally corrupt for deceiving gullible Nigerian? 11 jets! is just much considering the socio-economic situation of the country.
APC is making some of us believe that they are trying to recover some of the funds they spent during campaign as seen in the controversial national budget and their reckless propensity to borrow.

The developing situations calls for serious worries. I expected change to start from buhari himself so that he will have a moral fibre to entrench same into his government and political space of our state. It is also very unfortunate seeing some of us defending/justifying every course of action of PMB by drawing and leaning on "wrongful actions of the past" even when it's very glaring Mr President is towing a wrongful path. Though we all are entitled to our opinions but it will be very much better if such opinions do not have political party coloration, ethnic biasness, sentiments and religious undertone.

Every conscious human will definitely wail if the conditions in his immediate environment becomes so intolerable.
The president should embrace the challenges and take the bull by the horn and pin it to the ground. It took him months to assemble his angelic and mesiahic ministers among which include that of budget and National planning and health. A litmus test has been done using 2016 budget and lasa fever and they failed.
I would not talk about the failed promise to end bokoharam by 2015. I will not equally talk about other promises they made which there are no visible signs of fulfilling them. When Obj expresses his doubts on buhari's capacity to effect change, he is correct given the aforementioned.

Good morning!
PoliticsRe: African Leaders To Withdraw Membership From ICC by Politicowizard(m): 7:38pm On Feb 01, 2016
All I see is struggle to evade justice after committing atrocities while in power. A typical African leader wants to be in power ad infinitum at all costs. It is a genetic code encoded in all of them. Now some people are saying the western leaders are not being tried by ICC. The question that comes to mind is do they play the style of politics that is characteristic of African leaders? Again, is there any case filed against them (western leaders) that ICC ignored to prosecute?
Why are these African cabals pushing for outright pull out on the grounds that they are only singled out by ICC and not been carried along they can call the attention of ICC on these issues.
I think it will be proper and better for them to eschew those inhumane actions and inactions that drag their names to ICC.
Finally, if these African cabals succeed, then, the common man in the society is finished! The voice of the voiceless will be shut!! And African democracy and democratization will be ultimately weakened!!!

Better still, do you want supreme court to play double standards ?
Ngenukwenu( Name of one of the deities in my locality), stop making some to buy into your idea. must every one be a hipocrite! And there is no way mere Electoral Guidelines will subsist Electoral Act.
if we are desirous to have better electoral process, the use of card readers or whatever better technology that will not disenfranchise Nigerians as characterized by card readers should be integrated into the electoral law of the country.
PoliticsRe: Ibrahim Magu Meets Wole Soyinka To Discuss How To Fight Corruption - Photos by Politicowizard(m): 12:02am On Jan 22, 2016
what I can understand from this visit is that magu/Apc is trying too hard to buy over the supposedly human right activist...Soyinka in order to keep him( Soyinka) mute in the glaring human rights violations, disregard to court order, arbitrariness, impunity and tyrannical system of governance characteristic of this administration.
In as much as I welcome the fight against corruption, it should be wholistic, no sacred cows! And, the president should not mobilize all his attention to fighting corruption alone. There are other areas that are sacrosanct that demands urgent attention. It will be his greatest undoing if at the end of his four years, he is not able to appreciably bring positive change to other areas that can touch the lives of Nigerians. As far as I know, an average Nigerian is impatient and no matter how elastic a material can be, definitely, there is always a breaking point where no further stress/ strain can be tolerated. Nigerians are watching.... while 2019 is loading.....
