Yes but if this is your first time applying for US visa it might take few days to get the email. Just be patient and check your email regularly

Yes it's right. You'll get an email once it approved to schedule your IW appointment. Usually you'll be the email with 48 hours

It depends on the country visa you want to renew. if its for USA visa, you dont need any money in your account or any bank statment. What they will only collect from you is that DS160 confirmation page and your passpoort.

Yes it's for US visa renewal. In the DS160 form there's a place they ask for your occupation and salary I just want to know if 400k is a reasonable amount to put.
This is my third time applying for US visa. I've never been denial a US visa. The first and 2nd time I applied was in Canada and I was approved both times.

My own email came in after 12 hours of inputting the payment receipt number to book an appointment.

I got an email from The embassy today that my appointment has been rescheduled. It was on the 24th of April before.

The problem is that i haven't been able to access the cgi portal for about a week now.

is anyone here facing the same issue? did anyone get a rescheduling email?

Clear your browser cache, if it does work
Try logging in from a different browser if possible try it at night time. The site is usually down during the day

it was May. I didn't do anything to get a rescheduled date. It was the embassy who sent me an email to notify me of this change. Several other applicants also received same mail regarding this from them. I got to know of this at Isolo DHL office the day I went for submission.

Wow you guys are lucky. My submission appointment date is May 22nd. I submitted my application on 3rd of April and was hoping to get an earlier date but unfortunately I didn't get it.

E be like say those of us wey submit application via IW on the 15th March dey plenty for this thread . Maybe because the embassy rescheduled a lot of applicants' submission dates to an earlier date cos crowd was much at the Isolo Office of DHL that morning, quite unusual.

Mine was approved yesterday as well after tracking my application twice on ceac. It was still showing application received in the morning. The status changed around 3pm to approved, when I tracked again, after 8 modifications. 3 weeks was the longest of my wait time ever. I wouldn't know why.

Please what date was your submission appointment date rescheduled from to Match 15th?
Also did you have to do fill anything to get the early date?

Hi, I got the mail this afternoon and saw a date in April but the appointment confirmation looks more like an interview appointment. The appointment detail has the address of the consulate which is quite different from IW confirmation that I know.

Please was your IW rescheduled to an earlier date or was it still April 26th?

Same thing just happened to me. My IW date was April 28 and I got an email today saying it’s now been brought forward to March 13th. That’s in 4 days. And my issue is my passport is currently at the Canada visa office for stamping of TRV. If I don’t get it back tomorrow, I can’t make this new IW appointment. So wrong how they just assume you have no set plans

I submitted my application on the 3rd of April. Received an email today to book my appointment but the earliest appointment I got is May 22nd.

CGI was not updated as at the time i checked and saw that the Visa was approved.
