"Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes". Proverbs 26:5.

The more you type, the more it becomes obvious to anyone reading your post that you're suffering from the greatest poverty of sense. cheesy cheesy

Firstly, the fact that you have a shaky brain is the reason why you couldn't be straight with your assertions. At first, you said it was my wife that bought the car for me. Later, you said friends and family gathered money for me. cheesy wink

Secondly, I'm not the first person in my family to buy a car neither will I be the last. I have family members and siblings who are doing very well. Again, you don score another own goal! Besides, we know people like you who can't afford 3 square meals but will come online to form 'millionaire'. You probably borrowed the data with which you're typing this. cheesy cheesy

Thirdly, I know why you're foaming in your mouth like an EPILEPTIC PATIENT. It's because I casted your CHEVRON FORMAT. You criminal dealers have scammed unwary people with BANK USAGE FORMAT, NA WOMAN DRIVE AM FORMAT, THE CAR IS HARDLY DRIVEN FORMAT, etc. Now, na CHEVRON FORMAT you wan bring. Which God forsaken Chevron staff will drive a car to such a comatose state? You think sey na everybody brain dey shake like your own? angry angry

Fourthly, at least in your drunken state, you alluded to the fact that I have my kind of car that you intend to sell. Except for the fact that yours is in a 'comatose state' driven by a so-called 'Chevron Staff'. Liar! I hate to speculate but that car be like wetin dem take dey smuggle rice from SANGO axis.

Lastly, you may continue to dig up my old post for your amusement. You won't find a single incriminating thing about me. You know why? I'm as clean as my car. Neither dented nor bastardized. But I'll only dig up one of yours, and the whole kasala go burst. For now, continue to entertain me with your folly. wink wink

Borrowed data… that crack me up for real. You don’t want to know the genesis of the phone he is using.

But you offend me sha. Upon all the beg I begged you to tamper justice with mercy, you still drag the werey like small generator. Anyways, you can’t go wrong in this case, the werey deserves everything coming at him.

You will hear sold very soon but you'll never hear how much it was sold.

You'll wait for another 5yrs before your money will be completed before you can afford to buy a car.

Just like ravensckar who had to gather money from family, friends and his wife evita before he could be the first ever person in their generation to buy a car... Almost 9yrs after graduation all he could afford was a painted car that has changed hands for more than 5 times... No wonder the thing dey pain am when him see something wey better pass him own instead to complement it they rather spoil it.
Nairaland is full of haters, people like pope191, you and ravensckar and Co don't like progress but thank God for God He has always been there to shame you all.

Shame!!!

Saying nonsense that you don’t know about with full chest. Is that not a symptom of a st*pid person. Were you there when his family gathered money for him.

Same you said I’m behind these monikers and at the same time you’re saying he collected money from family. Let them take you to the village, maybe they can find solution to your problem.

Most importantly, get a good inspector (like AUTOCONSULT) to help you inspect before purchase and you'll be fine. cheesy cheesy

The bolded is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
But I rather stress myself and see money, and have funds to fix my car when it spoils than do soft work, and barely have savings, then when car eventually spoils, because it will, I will now be looking for who will borrow me money to fix d car.

In a nutshell, all drivers on Indrive borrow to fix their cars? Or get stucked at break- even point?

The average Nigerian citizen cannot afford private taxis of the level of Uber & co (AC tight, neat vehicle etc)

Check it, they can't even afford decent buses for mass transit, go look at the brt how many of them still have AC running. Danfo is the standard for public transport in this wretched country. Uber, indrive and bolt are just preying on the desperation, the lack of option and the foolishness of Nigerian drivers

I understand, but these things we’ve to commensurate it with people’s income. Way before now we have the airport cabs. If people can pay flight of 100k to Abuja, why do you think they won’t pay 20k for cab? People were paying 50k for covid test. Do you think if it was enforced on local, people still won’t pay?

The point here is demand and supply, pure economics. On Sunday during church service, you need to see drivers everywhere and we have more people joining the hustle. As odd as driving may seem, it has been able to take some out of the street and as well create employment, even if it is presumed underemployment. Drivers can still try to maintain their cars regardless, chuchmoore is one person that always kept his car pristine in his days.

All Uber prices are fixed. That's how I picked a rider on Uber at Ikeja and less than 10 minutes into the trip, Lastma bursted my two tyre with their spike.

I got to a place and stopped and the rider asked me to end the trip that they are in a hurry. I ended the trip and Uber asked the rider to pay 6800 for a trip that lasted 14 minutes, 3.8km. The trip was from Ikeja to VI and I ended it right there at Ikeja and Uber is asking the rider to pay the same amount they would have used to get to VI.

The rider just transferred 2k to me, booked another ride this time on Bolt and left. I made the rider to understand that the fixed price could work against the driver in a situation where there is serious traffic.

I reported to Uber and got my money back.

But boss what are you doing on Uber? Is there a compensation we don’t know about? Anything fixed price and you don’t have a say from the onset should be a no no.

Thats never the price the map brought out for Indriver. Rider chose that amount for reasons best known to her. Who dash u 15k on Indrive. U will do airport to Sangotedo before u see 15k on a norms. Dey play.

I like Pearl take on this, I can’t vouch for Bolt price on this, but trust it is very obtainable on Indrive.

We just have to accept there’s fluctuation of prices on different app, just go with what works for you. I still believe Bolt gives more money, but with much stress and damage to your car more.

I bought battery 42k around August last year. Heard eversstart 75amps is around 62k atm.

You made the right choice. You don't go to mech frequently because you are in charge of your itinerary. and you don't fall for the "do 20 trips get 20k again"
Because the longer you flog the car, the higher the tendency of visiting the mech workshop.

Northbird don come nko this work pass me 😂

I think there will be a shift in everything soon and comrade’s just have to hold fort. There’s no such thing as give price on Indrive again. Feels like Ramadan is affecting business or it’s the economy using Ramadan as cover up. Anyways cost of running a car now can shift anyone of business, so waka jeje is very important. Battery along that barely last one year is going above 60k for 75ahm. So I wonder how drivers drag 1500 trips, left to me the trip go sleep there. The courier package is the worst. Some times I am tempted to pick it, just to blast the riders.

All in all, drivers should use their head, doubt if anyone can intentionally buy toks to run this business now.

I hope the work they go well? Network don show man shege, I jejely enter my house. Riders can’t even make transfer.

@Drivers something interest happened to me on Tuesday, rider run my live street of 7300. I am typing this so we all can be careful out there. I have been able to get 6500 out of the money. Just thinking if I should let go of the rest I’d raise em.

Are you using a Samsung? You can update the system UI in the settings.
I love the new indrive update.
Riders can't edit n put nonsense price like before. if you can't afford air-conditioned taxis as a rider, there are alternatives ( Keke, okada, Danfo, Sienna). Pick the one that suits your budget.

I think Indrive realised they have been dulling themselves all this while, they realised that Bolt does not give a flying Bleep about fares, once demand is up, 2.5 surge steps in, if the heat is too much, alternatives ( keke,Danfo,Sienna) are available...

I’m using iPhone and thething will just be hanging anyhow until I refresh.

Do drivers still use a/c? Because the rate at which riders do ask that is your a/c working can be annoying. While some will thank you for using a/c.

I won’t outrightly tag it as being wicked. Oil business is not just a regular market, but each to himself. I may buy from NNPc at 568 and sell to another person 588 because I don’t want to go thro the stress of trucking. That person too will add is own. Las las after landing the buyer will add his profit.
