1) The Bolt driver did not file any case in court. He recorded what happened and posted it online. It went viral and prompted the Police and NASS to start investigations. Maybe I am wrong, but no court case is acknowledged for this

2) The investigations will most likely lead to sanctions for the lawmaker, not necessarily to compensate the driver. He will most likely be suspended or any other stuff. That's where the investigation will lead to.

In a country filled with injustice, and God shows you mercy to see 5 million to collect, how can someone say he could have made more?

ENSSARS victims that were brutalised, how much dem collect, after waiting years?

Police have shot people innocently and officers dismissed. How much dem pay the victims?

Thank God that Uber guy is not on this thread. Otedolas here would have advised him to reject 5 million, and wait for 15 years later to collect 10 million.

At first I was angry with him but on a second thought na different thing dey pursue all of us...

But most IMPORTANTLY, your circle of friends, your colleague and the kind of people you associate with really matters..
The truth is, 99.9% of Uber drivers will gladly ACCEPT 5 million and a toks Corolla (7 million) for a few slap and they will do it gladly.....Go under ajah bridge, ask driver if they will accept it...If you attend ehailing association with your toks car and 5 million naira cheque, am sure they will hail you as a fortunate Uber driver.
Here in my office, if you accept it , you won't be able to resume to work due to the shame that will accompany you...and it's not because we have 5 mil in our acct but because of what we have been expose to, alot of exposure comes with 9-5......you won't find it on d wheels...Even the cleaner here, by associating with us knows he will make more..Everyone around me equally knows that you can make much more than that from the Honourable.
Though I agree that being on d wheel will pay ur bill, atleast for now....

I have read your epistles sir, I get your points but let's not shy away from saying the truth.
Anywhere you are cars like u said are machines and they depreciate with time and may fall apart faster if they enter the wrong hands.
So I was surprised when they said using car frequently won't affect it in any way, that's a big lie and misleading.
The more the usage the more it's depreciating, you can only prolong the lifespan if you do the necessary things that needs to be done promptly,

You can only help ur car if you're good in maintenance, but then you will spend.
