Celebrities / Re: Naira Marleyā€™s Statement On Mohbadā€™s Death: Four Talking Points by pope191: 10:23am On Sep 16, 2023
Watcharena:
there is some those going in to music in particular really need to understand, when someone sign you in to his record level or whatever they call it, that person is spending a lot of money to raise you from no where ,the young signee is like an investment to the owner of the record so he need to get his return on investment before you think of leaving the record.

Before they go into any record level they should sign agreement on how many years the new signee must stay in the company before he can leave,so that the owner can get his return on investment and both parties must stick to that agreement.

The boy wanted leaving about two years after he was signed by Naira Marley going by the nature of music industry that's very dangerous.

Still naira Marley might not be behind his death ,the best ways is to investigate

Do you have the agreement binding them? I understand music business to some extent and I get your view very well. The basic point should not be about him leaving or not, but their terms and conditions. In a country where thereā€™s law, we should always learn to do the right thing.

Take a look at Mavin for instance. After the Mo hit issue and the way WC left, I think Don Jazzy stick more to terms and conditions. Even if artist wants to stay after, he barely give them attention.

I pray make nobody experience weytin agbero boys do me for Oshodi on Monday. May our vehicle not stop at Oshodi under bridge is a big prayer o. I payed 22k and loose a side mirror.

One of the problem I have with this government is they encourage a lot of crazy things for check and balance. Regardless, we are fast loosing our sense of humanity. Some times I wonder why I canā€™t have such heart as most people.

last year, I realized my oil dried up around Anthony, just right after the bridge. So I was trying to push it to a safe place before going to Mobil along that road to get oil. 2 abokiā€™s join me, we were able to push it to one of the streetā€™s around Ismail Estate and before I could say Jack, 2 guys wrapping we*d came out. Oga your money is 20k, blah blahā€¦ you can call you mech and spend the whole day, no wahala. I try to explain myself and how I just need to get oil from the nearby Mobil. Their ok, no wahala ooze nothing but trouble. As guy man I start to rap in Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. Offer to give them 1k, to the point of increasing it to 3k. They said they canā€™t go below 10k, as a car owner I should always set aside money for a day like this and accept fate whenever it happens. Hmmm! It is well.

My Abokiā€™s are still around. I look at them and ask what will it take for them to push the car to the garage as if one is going towards Oshodi. They ask me to find them anything. On getting to the garage? Lastma don join hand. Pope you don enter em today. Lastma start with his own questions, but their money is 5k as I can see his colleague is around. I just told him. Officer what I have here is 2k, I just want to get oil and be out of here. He didnā€™t stress it.

Naija my country, I hail!

Bolt is bringing a package to tackle Indrive.. The economy category.. they will charge 10% on that plan..
That means Indrive really impacted their revenues..

Ah swear, Indrive is raving mad lately. Almost same price when gas was subsidized. Well I know thereā€™s low turn out of riders, but the price is so demeaning. The one that piss me off the most is the stops. Indrive need to remove that nonsense. I donā€™t think drivers should go on strike, but just over look trips on indrive like for 2 days, their head will straight.

I never disputed the fact that we have good copsā€¦ but their is a law here and orders. Why will I be in need of help and emergencies and all the police/officials back home could do was to extort me.

Do you know indirectly weā€™re paying for these peoples salary by renewing our road permit licenses and all.

Road safety is doing the same job police is doing.

VIO same, Lastma, LNSC as join them too so many agencies including task force. Bro many things is totally wrong with my country. You wouldnā€™t know this until you leave.

All these ones doesnā€™t even pain me. At least we know them for who they are. Ordinary Nigerian will help push car off the road and wait behind. Before you know, they will get stone, ask if you want water, by the time they name their bill. I donā€™t want to say humanity is far from us, but it just have to do with poverty sha. We have a poor mindset and reasoning. Every situation is a chance to take advantage of one another.

It is well.
There's nothing I hate more than hearing a rider telling me he/she wants to branch somewhere, or pick someone up somewhere, or dropping something somewhere which will definitely increase my driving time and most especially, complete off the route to the destination. angry

The fact that I can simply impose extra charges doesn't solve my problem, cos most of them don't have the intention of adding extra.
The ones that want to add will be telling me some annoying extra they can add for stopping/branching. I've got 1/2 stars because of this and that one no concern me.

I tell em straight that I don't do branching/stopping, if you insist, I will give them outrageous extra charges if it's a must.
Some will propose a good extra and some will get you mad with nonsense extra. Smiles.

If you want to be doing all this branching/stopping, kindly switch onto bolt, abeg.

Funny enough, all Indrive riders know that In-drivers hate hearing branching/stopping, but they will want to throw it to you maybe you're one of the meek ones. grin

Much respect, baba.

I getā€¦ thereā€™s no such thing as Iā€™ll add to it. Iā€™ll ask how much and the minute they are willing to use.

And when you give them offline price using your discretion, they will think you charging them too high and start complaining angry until you send them to go online and they see the price themselves.
The same reason I no too like offline too, cos I hate argument and too much explanation.
Some offlines I do are those riders who don't care about the price and don't want to stress themselves by ordering and waiting for another ride.
my neighbors as well, and referrals, offline comes from them, too.

Much respect, baba.

Almost all concept in life comes with demand and supply. One have to understand the mindset of the person you are dealing with and value of commodity before dealing.

All is in the power of presentation. Most people actually dont care about price, but safety, trust and security. Not saying we donā€™t have the kaku ones, but the principle is to take your shot, if it works fine and if it doesnā€™t? Fine.

One of the mistake riders make is to ask for a stop or take off route on indrive. Once he or she ask me what do you want me to add? Youā€™ll hear me saying, no you talk. And they will go like you talk, if itā€™s not good we donā€™t have to go. Iā€™ll be like madam, I have problem oo, the money Iā€™m looking for is 2 million, I can mistakenly ask you to pay 2 million or you want to help me subtly. Iā€™ve already create jokes and ease the person mind. If I am expecting 5k, Iā€™ll thro 10k. The haha will enter. Las las we will end it at 6 or 7k. Most times I analyze cost of gas and ask them to do the maths.

Gbam! As much as I may want to have mercy on the rider. The street is military. Everybody is hustling the next man, so a guy man should also learn the act of not lose guarding. Not supporting fraud tho, but we are where we are right now.

Sometimes I wonder why we have police stopping cars few meters away from African Shrine, while they are seeing them from far. This country no just balance.

Nigerian police force are something else, you arrested a rider and was telling driver to send his account after billing the rider heavily, you claim he's got something in his phone and he's a fraudster.

Nothing new here, either you are having pity for the rider or both of them should handle each other. I understand my clients and before we move, I ask them if they have issue with the popo, because this route? Hmmm! If e happen, I wonā€™t get myself involved. You will carry some clients and they will be oozing all choko, some will even hold it with the mindset that nothing will happen. So far, our police have been doing their job. Barely any driver here can say they harass him needless. As long as you donā€™t have anything to warrant being harass? Lagos police hardly disturb.

And for that lady I carried going for a church program yesterday at Adeniyi Jones from Yaba. Itā€™s only the gods that will judge you. How can someone play Asake from Yaba and change it to worship songs on approaching Allen? The most painful part is when he was about to burst Lonely At The Top. You will obviously slip out of the spirit and wonā€™t know when you will voice ololade Asake in church.

The best bet is to prevent indrive's auto-start and tapping call icon. I don't have the energy to be doing back and forth with support.

Yea, but sometimes I want to lock the trip or avoid lateness. A girl cancelled what could have been my last trip yesterday. From surulere to charity 4600. The time was around 9:30pm, Iā€™ve driven like 4 mins from the 5 mins, so I called as I was about entering her street. Next I hear is, oh! Sorry I book both on Bolt and Indrive and the Bolt is here.ā€ The thing pain me enter bone. Later saw 3100 to ICM from Tejuosho around 10. I didnā€™t even bother to price her, driving home empty wonā€™t be fun atall.

They will issue refund if it's in your refund wallet. If not, write support and prove your case.

So support still reply, indrive ainā€™t returning nothing. Those guys may be worst with time
