I won't go into all the salaye but I will touch on important ones
1. He gave me the car without servicing it. I serviced the car myself with Mobil 1 oil (that's what he claim, he uses), market price then was 51,500. He claimed the former owners told him there's no need to service it lol. Now that's the only thing my mechanic did before the overheating issue. After Overheating, I still serviced again with same oil.
2. Did the overheating affect the car engine seat that i changed?
3. He wrote it up there I bought a brand new battery with my money, is it overheating that affected the battery too?
4. Is it overheating that made alternator belt to cut twice in 3 weeks?
5. Now that a new owner is fixing gear, is it the overheating that caused the gear to start having problems
6. He forgot to include that I fixed AC leakage. Is it after overheating too the Car AC started leaking?
7. Coil and plugs nko?

If you want me to go into details, I will but then let me stop here for now.

Oro ba oro bo…

I am not judging you or him. If there’s one thing I have learnt in this car business. If we can’t proceed, then aborting should come with else without tarnishing each other image. If I choose to do what I ought not to do, it is from my heart and I’ll take no offense as long it’s not under duress and I have options. You are under rental and service is not of yours, if you insist and feel the need for it? Let his mech be the judge, at least you’ve raised your voice enough. For belt? That should be a minor thing. Either a pulley or adjuster is doing a bad job or wrong belt(like new coated with chemical to make it look like toks). Remember he mention body marks too which is normal in Lagos… all said and done, poor communication mostly in this business is one of our problem.

I remember one of my oga here gave someone car. When my oga see his car in 2 weeks 😜 that was the end of the contract. No long thing 😂

There is no way a driver will damage a vehicle so bad in 3 weeks unless the car was already problematic.

I sincerely don't understand how they keep asking Ola to beg for forgiveness 😕

Don didn't even mention what happened between both of you but you have spilled the whole stuff out here.
I guess your supporters would have blamed Ola if he were to be the one to spill out this way.

Says who? 3 week is not enough to damage a car? A day is even enough. You noticed a car is overheating and you choose to drive it like that? How many days does it take to damage it?

I won’t take side between a brew I barely know anything about, but if donbroswer called DJ out and he didn’t waste time to air it out, common give the guy some space. Haba! The issue here should be if he’s telling the truth or not. One side story is never a reasonable manner to judge. Donbroswer drummed this beat, let him dance to it in peace.

Different moniker popping in support of A or B. I think Cheerfulgiver was the only one that air my tots absolutely. Northbird says they should mend their relationship… I see a relationship that has gone beyond mending. No ounce of love and respect. The only pain I felt about DJ is him being the bad/difficult person, but when there’s need or business in view, then DJ comes to mind. Feels more like the kind of person we only remember when in need, but discard the moment we don’t need them. Crazy where the good jolly friends go to when we are in need.

Hence I see the need of both trying to go their separate way asap. And in this case, each should give what is due to each asap. Tell each and both party should agree with sincere mind when they would be able to get whatever that is delaying the process of ending whatever binds them.

Omoapena you don’t have to like this and I won’t tell you to apologize. Just give the man his respect. Either you senior him or not. Get whatever you need to get from him, both of you may still drink and laugh together (we never can tell, while you make enemies here over the matter). Just give em that respect regardless of what you make out of his person. Una contract remain like 10 percent to be over.

Try and learn, unlearn and relearn. As long as I still make tens or thousands more than d best Indrive user at the end of the day, then number of trips is irrelevant.
The only thing that's important is if u tell me u Net 45k in less the time I do. Anything outside "take home" and "hours spent" is dust and wind.
U could jolly well spend more fuel on dead driving doing 8 trips than I do doing 20 trips. Have u considered that is possible?

Trust me, I have tried Indrive, but it doesn't just work for me.

Here is ego tripping without being honest. My questions are so simple. I need to know your start out time, each trip and end point before giving you that flower. It ain’t hard, it’s a matter of choice, nothing absolutely new under the sun. What’s the point telling what you net if you have difficulty showing the trips? What’s the usefulness of such info to an average person out here?

And that advantage is all I need to make my decision. Cant seat back for hours waiting for 1 probable trip on Indrive while I could be on my second or third trip on Bolt.
I really don't know why u r fixated on number of trips. Its irrelevant!!!
Has indrive price changed with the mainland to island traffic twist now. The answer is NO. Riders are still fixing 5-6k for Ojodu to VI in d morning. Same trip that ends at 8-9k on Bolt

Who takes 5 to 6k to VI from Ojodu? The concept of this hustle is time and day. Anyone that wants to take unfavorable trip, can go ahead at his or her own expense. Do you know from Ilaje or Gbagada you can get a trip of 5/6k to VI? So why should I take such trip?

Number of trips can’t be irrelevant as long as wear and tear plus gas usage are applied. How long can you go for a pick up. If you do 20 trips in a day, add up 5 to 10 mins drive for pick up and tell me it won’t tell on gas.

The emboldened is true. The only edge Bolt has over Indrive right now is that they have more riders. Bolt has a lower turn around time rate.

I was expecting Rida to step up the disruption..but I was wrong, Rida has positioned to end up as bottom feeders.. so pathetic.

I stopped using Rida for now. 6% on rubbish price with unfriendly app. I don’t know why they can’t stylishly copy the indrive model without infringement (if they have to put that into consideration).

Literally if you set out to drive on Bolt, you’ll make more money, but burn more gas, car prone to more damages. While you save more time as you hit target easily with surge and bonus. Energy got charged easily with availability of trips. Cash at hand? Illusion compare to a good day on Indrive.

This is subjective and not always so.
Vi to Ikeja is around 7k to 8k now without surge.
For this same trip I still get to see Rider's offering 5k or even 4,500 on Indrive.
So what u get on Indrive is completely a function of the Individual Rider.

VI to Ikeja around what time and what is the time estimation? Remove surge on Bolt and bonus as well, you’ll see that piece of sh*t is gone.

The only advantage Bolt has over Indrive is turn around time in trips. Same question I have asked you to upload your total trips and not just income. Mind you VI to Berger on indrive now is above 7k during rush hours, but I don’t run it. You get!

Wen u finish talking about your price, timing, trips and effort. Come back and tell me that u have seen Indrive earning more than Bolt. Them I will listen to u.

Boss number of trips can’t be irrelevant in the face of gas usage and wear and tear being done to the car. To be honest with you, if I have my way right now, I’ll use bolt often because the waiting time on Indrive is not funny presently. I think my question is innocent enough and also an insight that will help us to balance judgement if it is worth it or not.

There use to be a time cheerful used to help with his starting point, each trip and final trip. That was so insightful for real.

Compare and contrast. You are right. Km and time wise,Indrive seems to offer more. But like I said. I'm concerned with the time utilised..
Spending 3 hours or more cumulatively to wait for trips is a waste.
I'm only concerned from the standpoint of time..

Let’s say we are on same page then. I think it’s best to have both apps.

100% agree with you.. I'm more even concerned with the time.. if you are going to be working for 6 hours, let it be 6 hours and use the other time productively. not 6 hours, but 3 hrs out of it is used to wait for trips.

Bolt trips are way cheap compare to Indrive right now. Riders has shift to Bolt because it is convenient, which brings about drought on Indriver. Bolt still have much of the clients, so turn around in trips are superb, bu you can’t compare usage of gas and cash at hand on a normal good day both are serving trips.

25 and 10 percent of both at 60/40 returns 30k. Can we say we’re going to use same gas to obtain such? The downside of indrive is the inability to get trip on time. You can do 7 trips and b fine to get that 40k. Ask Pearl how many trips he covers in a day to get the 60k

This transfer issues has almost made me slap one uncultured rider,
As an experience person with first bank USSD transfer to GTB, she made a transfer using USSD and it didn't say successful but she was debited, I explained to her politely that the transfer didn't go through and she will be reversed back and she should try do it again with first bank app and not USSD, she claimed she has been debited and she's not going to do it again, I told her if that's the case, she will have to wait for me to see the money before I can let her go, she started saying will I hold her down when she has made the transfer, and I told her but I haven't seen my money yet so will I let you go when I haven't seen it?

This cause serious argument and I was trying to educate her on why I will never see the money since it didn't say successful but you see this stupid and uncultured people, they always feel like for someone to be driving taxi, it means the person isn't educated and doesn't know anything.

After waiting 30mins without getting the money, she said she can't wait anymore and she doesn't want to do the transfer again, I let her go and waited after 4hours and called this lady again that I haven't seen the money, next thing, she started saying how is she sure I haven't seen it and I just want her to send it again, this girl started telling me to reach my bank, I was like, why should I reach my bank, what will I tell them? That someone sent me money but I didn't see it and they should help me check my balance that I can clearly see from my end? Omo, this girl stress me o.

After like 16hours, her colleague/friend now asked for my account details and she now resent the money, which means the 1st girl got reversal but still never want to admit everything I was trying to tell her was just the fact and she couldn't even apologize for the way she talked to me.

It really got to me that evening but I just let it slide coz it's part of stupid people we carry sometimes. If them look her now, she fit be 3rd class product..

Once you allow rider go without transferring your money, just know anything can happen, even if they left with right intentions. Stories they always enter the matter, only in few case.

During December rush, I pick this guy on Sunday from onike round about to railway compound for 4200, then he book again to Jacob Mews for 4k. That’s 8200 he has transferred so far. He asked me to take him to iwaya rd sinc he only want to drop someone at the last location, so we run it offline for 4k. Getting there, he start doing what I don’t know on the phone and put it on network. Pled and promise to send it once network comes up. Right inside of me I knew otilo, but I just found comfort in knowing paying 8200 between Yaba is not easy, nah bonus ride I do for em.

Interesting to say I picked him on Sunday, buzzed em on Tuesday and he is using excuse of losing his mom on Friday as reason.

I don experience similar thing o, got the request from commercial avenue to folarin, the folarin she selected is the one in idi araba while the one she's going is at palm avenue, I connected bishop street straight to idi araba and she asked where am I going, I told her to the destination she put on the app, that's when she said her destination is palm avenue, I just told her this is where she put and if she wants me to take her to her correct destination, she will have to add to the fare, she started arguing saying she can't, I gave her option to either take her to the one she put on the app while she pay me completely or she drops here while she pay me a certain amount or we renegotiate to take her to her correct destination, she said she's not going to pay me anything if she's dropping where we are and she's not going to add if I take her to her correct destination, I just sensed a very serious trouble so I drove her to alakara police station, on getting there, she just changed mouth started saying we could have resolved the issue within ourselves instead of bringing to the station coz the police were on my side. Last last, she paid me extra and I made sure I collected more than enough for the stress...

TBH, part of the reason why I hate indriver, some will order to wrong destination and will expect you to take them to the right one with same fare, some will even be telling you where to pass cox someone wants to drop along that route, some will even branch supermarket, restaurant and co, and they will expect you not to talk for that delay time, some will even order you and when you get there, they will waste your time for 20mins and still expect you not to complain.

I think women are reactive by nature, they act before they think and they don’t like to take responsibility. Me I don’t have problem as long as the person is understanding. I picked a girl from unilag, we were gisting and it was so interesting. She put GRA instead of VI, on getting to Jibowu, she realized her mistake. Despite being a destination trip for me around 9pm, I still have to take her to VI. She was having a personal issue and need my advice, so it was easy to overlook… but that argument, shouting and heaping the blame on driver or app use to piss me off.

Oga let’s go, I’ll add something
Me : how much do you want to add?
Rider : the trip is 3800 abi? I’ll round it up to 4000
Me: how much is a liter of feul? I am not going again, I don’t think you even know how much they sell shocks.

Riders go off straight.

Too many issues with riders that I have been thinking how to go about the work. This is not my first time of having wrong location issues and me I use to collect my complete money because some of these riders are cold to me. How can you pick trip of 2000 from Ikeja to gbagada? Only to put Gra on the app and oduduwa is very confusing for riders, both way, crescent and street confuse them more than anything. This particular case happened for few reasons and I have made up my mind to splash the payment, but the driver gave me reason why some drivers can never do good. Even with the way drivers pick trip on indrive, they are meant to be broke forever. Ikeja to surulere is always block these days and someone will still pick 2600. As in for a trip that can last 40 mins, I’ll rather go home and look for something else to do.

That driver wey shuk mouth na busybody.

What do you mean "ask them where they're going?"
Does this look like korope to you?
Where I've had trips in which myself and passenger uttered less than 10 words to ourselves.

Ask much as I understand Pearl and Glitchronix, ask just to avoid unnecessary drama. The point here is Indrive makes the app unfriendly for driver to call, and if one have to drive down to ask such stupid question, whats the benefit for driver? We have riders that hate such question and will always refer you to the app. If you ask me I think they are just making excuses for the rider, they should double check before booking. While it is also ok for driver to ask. The job is crazy, I’ve seen where rider told me I have trust issue, all because I ask to check her transfer and she ask if she looks like a thief. Bros, u can have 3 instances in a day and it will not happen again for the next 3months. Its not in ur power to determine. But what's within ur control is confirm riders destination either before u arrive pickup or before u move from pickup point. Especially for street names that have multiple occurrence.
U will agree with me that many riders no sabi road.

I never jam rider wey no know road, but street smart. Not Yaba, surulere or Ikeja. Like I said I confirm when I sense some glitch. I can’t see new hall unilag from surulere and be putting myself at arms length. This is not the first, if I pick and the direction is not same either we talk it out or rider get another ride. But getting to destination to start saying rubbish means the rider is just few days from kidnappers.

See the one I just confirm now, stupid trip all because I want to quickly get off the road to go watch ball. Drove 10 mins after calling that I have arrived, the werey cut phone and cancel. Indrive sha don comot commission. I deh vex like this. I don swear for em generation.

It's not about indrive having the issues, Lagos has names of same streets in multiplication and as an experienced driver, I don't expect you to leave a PU point without confirming the destination "AREA " to the passenger first.
@the bold, you're right.
I don't know if you have also seen that Alaba International Market will be pointing to Surulere. This and the RCCG own, an experienced driver should know it's an error, so, all you have to do is ignore such ride.
But some people will still pick am and reach PU point then start dragging with the rider.
This thing no hard at all.
Some passengers will type address and when 3/4 pop up, they just click and pick one, instead of them to specify the area of the street they're going before posting it.
For that one wey Pope complained about, na him I go drag, cos that baba na legend in the hustle.

Much respect, baba.

Hmmm, so you call riders before going to PU?

Note : map may pick different location, but the name remain same. I don ask for the once I am not clear about, while some can’t even be disputed. I have been in couple of it and rider will ask where am I going too. If we are yet to leave the axis, I don’t take kobo from them as I’ll ask them to book another rider. Driving for 20 mins, like getting to destination, they will use rider to do ritual las las.

Accept the fact that u should always confirm where a rider is going to rather than assume the destination on the map is correct. As someone who majors on Indrive App, u should know thats compulsory.

Last week I picked a trip from Opebi To Ibadan street, Ketu. I checked map and saw Ibadan street off Agboyi road in Ketu so I assumed thats where she is going. My error! I drove to pick up, saw her standing by the road side, then my defences came up. As I start d trip I saw map directing me towards ikorodu, then I asked her pls where are u going to? Madam say Irawo. Ah, sorry I can't go that way, I thought u are going to Ketu Alapere. Na so I end trip jeje. I apologized and thanked my star she didnt put Alapere while she was going to Irawo. Cos normally I always confirm destination before I even drive to pickup, except for addresses that announce themselves like offices, event places or there is Lekki or VI, written after the street name then no need for confirmation.

Sometimes its not their fault cos they can't use the app properly, if "Somolu" was written next to the "okesuna", then u would have won the case, sorry for the loss. Make Una use app wey gat ya back.

As much as I’ll like to agree with you, this job is a psychological one. I have done 3900 plus trips on Indrive and I have not face issues like this up to 10 times, if it is up to 5. So logical I select my trips well. These people ask me route and I told them. What’s the connection of somolu and island from surulere. Riders on Indrive and Rider are the most numb set of folks I have even seen. They take their frustration from Bolt and put it on us. If it’s Bolt that I’ve been driving for 20 mins and she’s in the dark about the trip, won’t she ask where am I going too?

Indrive is a sh*tty app and their cc don’t care about driver. Need you know one of the reason I drop Bolt is because I am tired of asking riders where are you going to and their response goes like “check your map or Oga are you going”. On Indrive you can’t even call rider, you’ll message and some won’t reply. It is when driving to location and arrive before they reach out. You arrive late, indrive will block you. Recharge 2k and they cancelled 1k without picking the trip. The next one you’ll be forced to wait for 20mins because one is already hitting frustration. Is it after you’ve waiting for 15 mins with straight face, you’ll have time to be asking rider where she is going too? You are already at the receiving end. Blow gas, waste time, indrive remove commission, it is best not to just wake to some reality.

In all this, these girls saying I was the one that changed the destination is scary, the kind of brain people have in their head. If I am bend on getting my money, I’ll get it 100 percent. I only off when a driver could say if they report, indrive will block me.
