If I have any pain in me? It’ll be people queuing to buy fuel at such a ridiculous amount. This government don see us finish. We are not reactive atall. Like people were practically queuing at a station that is not selling. Everyone should park the F-ing car and stay home for at least a week. Covid did not k*ll us, sending message to this people won’t. NLC can’t even help Nigerians now. |

Nezzjnr: This is really insensitive to be honest.
Using the death of a General in the Auto section to score cheap points??
Well I can't expect anything sensible from you.
You think CNG conversion is 500k?? Swears. I’ve been trying to avoid the drama, but disrespecting him to score a point truly make me want to question why waste energy on him. Do his likes think it’s just about drivers? Yesterday, I had a fuel that won’t take me beyond 35k for sure. Stuck inbetween parking the car or raise 41k for full tank. I managed to squeeze 63k out of the fuel. Apparently, I can get full tank now and still keep some change, but what will happen to workers that have to pay extra amount of money to work? Will the 70k minimum wage be enough to cushion all these? What happens if naira keeps getting weaker, just as it did yesterday? We keep shifting pump price or hope on Dangote, when we can’t even ascertain the quantity of crude oil he will be getting with China eyes on our crude. Foodstuffs are about to go up. People won’t be able to afford basic needs again(not like they can anyway) and in turn this will affect everyone, including drivers and companies which will force them to shut down. This dude thinks it’s about sounding politically correct and being insensitive. Reality struck, he knows himself better and his living condition. Needless dragging anything with a soul at his lowest ebb, such will cling on anything just to grasp some breath of if it doesn’t work for me, let it be so for everybody. Some people find relief in misfortunes. |

izzou: I don't believe God created anybody an destined him to die horribly.
Do people die gruesomely? Yes Is that how God planned it? No
PS: Na my opinion oh.
And i also believe many accidents are avoidable; Overspeeding being the number 1 cause. The moment anything goes wrong while speeding, you have less than 3 seconds to think your way through.
I personally have limited my speed to 90/100km this year, at most, and i thank God i have been keeping to it.
My era of Need for Speed is gone. Lol @Need for speed is gone. That thing can be diabolical. 1. vibes on a good day. I think music influence speed 2. When one car just out speed one and you be like hmmm, never 😂 that’s how the spirit of speeding enters. Speeding is bad and I don’t encourage it, but once one is on the road anything can happen. We can only play our part and hope our days are longer. I’ll never forget the Sunday container fell on korope that had like the whole family in it. These korope guys always park at the entrance of the bridge to load and pathetic to say they still do this. Who do we blame for this? Even on Ikorodu road, they will stop in the middle of the road to drop and pick passengers. Sometimes it seem as if people’s lives are just in the hands of these drivers. Including the truck drivers too. |

izzou: No need to draw conclusions this way.
You don't know why he personally delivered it. What if he had a personal business in Edo, and decided to use a stone for two birds?
Accidents happen. Even from your house to Lekki, it can happen. Should we now say everyone should get a driver or a boy to drive him?
The only thing i draw from any accident is to drive carefully, and speed kills.
Accident happens, even if you decide to trek sef. @PNegro he can’t speak for himself, so we actually can’t tell what warranted his judgment. The least we can do is to respect him and his state. He was a great soul and some of us still can’t get over it, even if we understood the inevitable. @Izzou I understand one have to be meticulous in his or her doing, but sometimes it seems out fate is all planned. I have asked people so many times if destiny can be altered? And in my quest it seems destiny is certain, but the mysterious side to it is how it is going to happen is beyond human understanding. One can be in traffic and container will fall on them. Kobe never saw it coming. In all, it seem our destiny is not truly in our hands, but the supreme being. It’s on this earth people d*es everyday. Who's next is not of man? Same de*th will leave the sick person and clog the presumed healthy person. The mystery of life… let’s just live purposefully, be kind to mankind and put it in mind one day everything and efforts will sum to zero. Absolutely nothing on earth will matter to us at some point. |

donbrowser: I admit I'm not being logical because I said things you don't want to hear.
1. Aisha Yesufu came to Twitter asking that all party agents of Labour Party should send their results to a particular WhatsApp number. Like WTF
2. It was reported before the election that Labour Party does not have party agents in majority of polling units across the country
3. PDP is the major opposition like APC and they have their own situation room too. Incase you don't know what a situation room is and how political parties collate results, let me break it down further for you:
3a. Every local government involved in the election has a dedicated computer and a person receiving the result.
3b. All party agents upon signing the result at polling unit will snap and forward to the collation center. The result is extracted into excel sheet dedicated for that local government
3c. Each collation agent will secure every snapshot taken by the party agent and save them for evidence of malpractice, overvoting etc.
4. When 80% of these results have been received at situation room, they do their maths to know if the remaining result is enough to give them victory or not.
5. PDP has all the result from their own party agents across the country same as APC. Can you say the same for Labour Party?
6. Rigging is not as easy as you think. Politicians rig but not the way you think they do. I won't say more than that.
7. I told you how Obi could not get 25% in 13 states of North East and North West leaving him with NC, SE, SW and SS. Remember, he also could not secure 25% in SW except Lagos. Now ask yourself that if Obi needs 25% in 24 states to win the election, are you saying he got 25% in all NC, SE, SW and SS states after failing to get 25% in Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo State? Do the maths yourself and bring direct polling unit results.
8. If you want to be logical with proof I'm here but I will repeat again that Peter Obi did not win 2023 general elections and he came 3rd as reflected.
9. Go through the results again and see how Tinubu won the election, he chased the 25% across board and not just winning in some region. The only region Tinubu did not get 25% is south east. Just 1 zone compared to OBI that could not get in almost 3 zones and you claim he won the election, how?
10. You are here hoping that your votes will count one day, I laugh. Join a political party at ward level to understand how politics work. The people that will determine your next president are already preparing to work for chairmen and councilors elections so they themselves can become delegates but you're still hoping. Issokay
11. Extra: APC was most prepared for the 2023 and their hardwork paid off. Aside from physical party agents across board. APC also used "e-unit agents". First of its kind in the country such that prospective voters details in each unit (name and phone number) were spooled from INEC and used in building an application, each agent is allocated 5-10 people. You will contact them and give a feedback of their response.
While APC was doing this hardwork, Obi was calling Oyedepo. Is that how to win election? 😁. You analyze and plan. Person wey no even sabi wetin BVAS mean. Abeg abeg In a nutshell all you wrote here is rubbish. Sorry I have to call it so. What’s my own with Aisha! Does she have more than one vote? Same thing goes to MC. The country has been so bastardized that anyone will just sprung out and here we are flying with agendas. You are telling me do I know anything about situation room. That’s funny! Which results are they receiving in your room. The right one or the doctored one, since that is your INEC office. Who are the people voting in NE and NW? How was the elections conducted? I don’t need no answers to the questions, because time is already telling. Why must a citizen tell another citizen they can’t vote at a particular place they’ve been assigned too? Why did Bvas failed in the process of transmitting results and they have to use manual method to collate results? It’s ok to be who you are or see things from your perspectives, but don’t force it down on other people. It makes no sense. |

donbrowser: So you will see things from a different perspective and understand how things work. You can join LP or PDP, it's not a problem. Not everyone who joins politics do so for their own selfish interest. You may be there to learn or even become a delegate that will appoint the next person to represent you.
I was a very active member of the EndSars inner caucus, I attacked the government from all ends (didn't burn or destroy anything) but until some issues started popping up, I began to understand these older men are not really our problem.
Let me give you brief example:
1. Tinubu appointed 2 EndSars people into his government, in persons of Bosun Tijani and Betta Edu. I'm currently enrolled in 3mtt by Bosun, he deserves his credit for that but he's been grossly accused of using the office to expand his personal business' foreign dominance and exposure while Betta Edu on the other hand has been suspended for corruption.
2. Tokunbo Abiru of Ikorodu is part of the old order as a Senator but he has a tech hub in Ikorodu which I'm also currently enrolled in, name of the Tech Hub is "Sail Innovations", I don't know Abiru and I have never seen him. I was chosen on Merit like other candidates. I can tell you for free that Abiru's program is far more organized than Bosun's own.
Does that mean Abiru is clean? No! But you have to understand that these people are not really our enemies and the truth is staring at us but we refuse to accept it. So if you join politics at your ward level and you begin to see where corruption is, you will understand that it is even civil servants and permanent secretaries that show governors and presidents where to steal from. These things cannot be learnt online.
If you join politics at local level and you know about collation, accreditation etc. When someone says Mr A rigged the election, you will understand why someone like me will stand my ground and say it's not true because you have first hand information.
God be with you. For those willing to add to my Lasepa and fiverr list, I repeat that I'm currently enrolled in 3mtt and Sail Innovations Tech program.
Ire oh How things work? So from you POV 250 million Nigerians have to be in a political party, before everyone can see how things work? I don’t want to cherry pick characters right now. Do you think Gani (with due respect) will be proud of Festus right now? From the days of John the Baptist people do things for reason. It is all about who they are. We are talking about national interest here and all I see you gravitate towards is self interest. What is the pressing need of communities. Governance is not really of concern to you, but elections. May I ask what you start seeing after endsarz? |

Barbiturate: The problem is INEC and the judiciary!
Obi won that election hands down. It was massively rigged by Mahmood.....and the courts were useless!
Obi won Lagos owner in his own Lagos.( Obi won with over 70% in mainland alone. I and my crew went from polling unit to polling unit) The margin was massive. The results were manipulated by INEC, not the polling units.
Obi won in FCT. Obi won in all the Eastern states too. Even if Tinubu had won in western states(of which votes were shared amongst the 3) he couldn't have won in the North! Atiku and kwankwaso would have had the highest votes in the whole north. I just read Donbrowser response to this and no gesture of offence, he is not being logical on election matters. An average APC apologists are not ready to analyze things, but project the we are all the same mindset. I have said this over and over to people and I’ll say it again. We have crafty old men, who we do anything for power. The youths are easily distracted, either they are helpless or don’t know they need to put more attention to politics. These so called politicians don’t know anything about governance, but expert in winning or rigging elections. Like basically that’s their calling. Right now, the last election is behind them and they are already setting apparatus by putting allies in strategic positions. While the youths are busy with contents, BBN and football, the only thing an average politicians do is deliberation upon deliberation. It will be difficult to think one will just muscle them around wishing the space of 3 months. Plans they’ve been putting in place for like 3 years. When people were busy shouting go an get your pvc, your vote is your right. I was just smiling. Una never see politics… they could muscle Jonathan out because he came from minority and he didn’t have the backing of the elites. Same fate I fear would have befall Obi, they will so frustrate his efforts, just as some regions are doing to this government. For 8 years, no protest. Day 1 of protest, they’ve scattered everywhere and who beg them to stop? Nobody cares. They say Northerners are using children for protest and as well giving ignorant people Russian flags, please where did the president won his votes? Same ignorant people. So if ignorant people are the ones deciding the fate of people like Lagos and Abuja, what actually do you expect, if not ignorant economy. Do Nigerians still have faith in their PVC? Your guess is as good as mine. Lot of people activate their japa mood after last election. I don’t know what they are going to use to convince Nigerians to come out like they did in this last election, because right now? People don’t care. The protest tell it all… like we are just praying for divine intervention. If issue of manual transportation of results, you can’t vote here, Iya chukwudi and co is not put into consideration? These people will still outsmart Nigerians with another technicality. Hopefully someday we’ll have a way to vote and it will count. We all don’t have to go to polling units, no thugs beating people. Just stay in your home and send entry within the jurisdiction one is entitled to vote. UK just did there election and we saw our peaceful and calm it was. So it is a thing of shame for anyone to keep using tribalism as a tool for being who they are. In all, Obi won the people’s vote and baba won the vote of the elites. There’s a reason why you’ll never see the likes of Elumelu, Dangote or Otedola pick side during elections. |

Omoapena: I have experienced something similar, I got a ride on indrive around ogudu, infact, the rider was responding to my call until I got to the pickup, immediately I got there, I clicked arrived and the rider cancel the trip after waiting like 2mins.
Then I saw a car, muscle coming to same spot where I was waiting for the rider and I knew the rider must have canceled coz he ordered on another app and that one is probably cheaper, I've been calling the rider n he's been declining my call, immediately he came out to enter the other car, I just blocked that one and came out from my car, I approached him and told him why did he cancel my ride after making me to drive to him n even waited for some minutes, he wanted to deny and on that spot, I called him and his number rang, I just told him he will pay me 1500 or else, I'm not moving my car. The other stupid driver that was supposed to be in support was just saying oga carry your car kommot for road, I didn't even answer that one coz I know in his mind, he's lucky to be going on the trip. I made sure I collect the 1500 before leaving..
Some riders are just so stupid, I don't think they have conscience to know fuel is expensive now and they will waste someone's time and fuel by ordering 2 rides together No be today riders don they other first to come and one thing I try to avoid is not calling before going to pu. I’ll tell you the time it will take me to arrive and if it is ok. Any mess up will follow curse straight. It’s been awhile I encounter such sha. Well! On the honest part I try to understand why some people do this, even if it makes no sense. Some drivers can use 20 mins to look for pick up and still cancel without any form of closure. That is also unfair. |

Pearl1910: Quiet frankly, last election was not about Tribe or ethnicity for many people but for some Yoruba people. The Hausas do it and we don't really blame them because of their level of education and exposure. I don't need to highlight that Igbos have always voted for Yoruba and Hausa when the candidate was more credible than the Igbo man in the ballot. Underline the word more credible. In d last election it was clear that the Igbo man on the ballot was more credible and hard less baggage than the Hausa or Yoruba man. Even many Yoruba and hausa people voted for the Igbo man. So u can't gaslight the Igbo man for chosing PO. Rather till tomorrow, decent people should be apologizing for their role in supporting a person with many question marks on his head. just because of tribe or personal gains not minding the bigger Nigerian society. The APC as a party was weaved with the fabric of sectionalism and thread of regionalism. Tinubu said emilokan, awalokan, and as a Yoruba person, if you are not in APC, or support Tinubu then u are not Yoruba enough, u are an omoale. now tell me what more can be defined as a tribal party or sectional candidate? Let's not go into that, we are experiencing the hash reality of our rash decisions since 2015. Even Onokpasa, a strong Tinubu supporter and spokesperson has recently conceded and turned critic that Tinubu is not going about the economy the right way. The story for today is don't think u are better than ur neighbour simply because of societal class of having a 9-5 job or my pay is big. It's nauseating. Many young boys and girls are making ur yearly income in a month doing seemingly odd jobs. The world is changing and its moving fast away from the conventional thinking that u hold dear. I no deh for politics, but more of human. You said something about the people that did not vote yesterday. Maybe I am part of the problem, but deep within APC is going to win the election. I honestly avoid sharing political view with people, because I feel everyone should be entitled to their view like religion and live and let live. Djdamian: It seems like you're quite confused, and I can see why some people might criticize your perspective. Many of your statements seem to come from a place of ignorance and bitterness.
Let’s set the record straight:
Driving is a skill, and drivers are human beings who play a crucial role in society, just like those in any other occupation.
I know corporate drivers who earn more than your accounting job—since you mentioned P&L and payroll. According to Payscale.com, the average annual salary of an accountant is ₦1,246,319. There are e-hailing drivers I know who can earn this in just four months.
There are also drivers who are well-educated (even with bachelor’s degrees) and family-oriented, thriving in the e-hailing industry. Some started with a single hire-purchase car and now own more than three vehicles and continue to expand. Isn’t that a form of growth?
Devaluation doesn’t just affect drivers—it affects everyone who earns in naira. Unless your accounting job pays you in USD, you’re impacted too. So stop with the ignorance and bitterness, and enough with comparing full-time driving to a 9-to-5 job.
Yes, driving for long periods has its downsides, but the same can be said for staying in a job for years. I know people who feel trapped and depressed in their 9-to-5 jobs. The beauty of owning or running a business is having control over your time. You can choose when to work and take holidays as you please. That kind of freedom isn’t available in a 9-to-5.
I come from a corporate background and have held top positions (still do), and I tell my drivers, business partners, and other entrepreneurs that I envy them—not for the money they make, but for the time they have for themselves.
Lastly, how many wealthy people do you know who are tied to a 9-to-5 job?
As long as you are happy in your profession, it puts food on your table, and it’s enough to take care of your family and loved ones—you are doing just fine. Sometimes when I look at Nigerians, I feel like crying for real and that’s the reason I said he need a mental evaluation. A lot of people don’t understand the meaning of supply chain and how each is of importance to the chain. Fuel attendance was once look at with disdain, but crazy how they became god today. What’s the value of your car without fuel in it? They talk to anyone silly and it’s almost like one is praying to get fuel before they change their mind. While killings are going on up north, people can’t go to farm. Who cares? Today we are having food shortage. Low rain, no proper irrigation. Then we wonder why things are the way they are. If you don’t wear suit & tie, then you probably don’t have a life. Funny 😂 Yesterday I had a deep conversation with a rider. She start with a deep breath, smile and goes off like she remember, the days she used to work on the island and pray for nothing of such again. Then I asked her, but it was once a dream. In her response, it was days of not knowing what it entails, but after covid, she saw there’s no life in it. I smile and Yes! That is our dreams and purpose for going to school, because we always cherish those uncles back then leaving 6am and getting back 9pm. Until reality done on most of us. Have I worked on the island before? Yes. My siblings too? But non of us is outrightly working on the island again. There come a time it is no longer worth it. In fact most of the people I know do that for awhile and japad. A friend of mine still told me last week, they drop their phones when entering the office. That’s at everything one, Oniru. I was like whats that? I honestly don’t care about anyone honest way of living. As long as you are dependent and don’t bother people around yo, with purpose in sight. The guy is just a shame, not like I expected much from him. It’s been awhile coming, so nothing new about him to say. |

dapotemi: Ignore jare..where do u think I'll have d time for all this shalaye....Obuko And you have been shalaying since 2: 55am to 4:16am 😂 no rest for the wicked. Isaiah 48 : 22. Dapo I won’t place curse on you, at least not yet. Else, peace of mind will elude you for the rest of your life. Like wanderers, you’ll keep wandering for no reason. Note! I say not yet, just keep letting your cloud of rain to gather till I fully unleash on you. Driver! Driver!! Driver!!! I didn’t even want to touch that, because it is baseless. Crazy how your app maybe on now, while I am still in bed, using my meditation time to reply you. When you get to your riders place and the person tells whoever the driver is here. Tell them no! It’s the accountant, not the driver. Can you see how f**lish you’ve been ranting? I am a driver and I hold my badge with pride. A successful one at that and I don’t even drive much again. The hustle is behind me, the days of driving outweigh the days left behind wheel as ehailling champ. God spare my soul, could careless about yours (I don’t play pretense around animals). I have siblings, non is into ehailling. Same you have a brother on ehailling and a friend. What have you done to elevate them? Same hustle you try to bring down at will, yet your app can’t go off in a day. 2 face, a mentally unstable and reprobated mind put up a house, they called 22m and he is yet to show the concluding part of the chat. What a silly ba*ger. I am done measuring d*ck here, said that long ago and my life or next move is never for public consumption in anticipation to be seen better. Take a look at nairaland, you’ll barely see me comment on any post or trend than ehailling. The purpose is to elevate and not to bring people down. My stand on ehailling will always be as a means and never the end. Anyone that have the means to japa. When I say means, not just finance, should not hesitate. Even with the so called site you upload (yours or not), people are selling to go have sanity elsewhere. Honestly can’t stop laughing at your f**lery Dapo. The same government you’ve seen nothing wrong is happening to you (react before thinking baby). Anyways I’m in my 30s today, you know your real age. I don’t have time for throwing unreal tantrums. If you think I attack people, maybe you should name them and what transpired. Donbrowser has been on is support for long and I respect his views, even if I don’t buy to it. I’ve never been keen on this government, but my realities are same like yours and any other. Abi you they buy fuel and food stuffs below price for anywhere? You don’t join queue. You’ll feed me and I don’t know where my next meal will come from? 😂 Dapo Abeg use your medication before you leave house. Hope you don get ride sha? Safe drive and don’t beg rider to join them again. Dapo of Afrika! The only driver wey rider order, still come ride with the rider as rider. 3 gbosa for you Elede!!! |

Away. From the needless drama 😂 another drama left me in shock today.
Picked this girl on my way home. She was somewhat out off character for the kind of rider I would’ve picked. No right PU and she can’t even be precise about her location, but based on last trip, I ignored the red flags.
Eventually, she got into the car and was holding tears. Hmm! Me I no sabi tell person sorry, so I just jejely face my front and wish I can find a way to console her. Then I remember our brother wey collect slap here 😂 I just lock up.
Suddenly she pick her phone and reach out to her mother. In her words…. Mummy you won’t believe wetin happen, deh catch us. Police stop our Uber, they search us and see weed for inside my bag. I swear I no know say in they there. Now my boyfriend claim say nah em get em, they don lock em and she goes on in tears. All heer mom would say… Shabi I don warn u make u no deh carry exhibit and rant on how she doesn’t listen to her.
Omo I off, I don’t even know what to say. Things some mother’s let go for their children… it is well |
