Dear Pearl, Machete greetings in the name of our maker. In other for no long thing, can you please be posting every 9 minutes to avoid repetition of what happened in 1972. Where the generator at the backyard suddenly went off and on getting to check what could have happened, we only saw a long wire that led us to Cotonou. The lord will honour you, may you not sleep the sleep of General Sani Abacha. May you not embark on a trip of no return. Please let your page keep showing Pearl is typing… don’t put stone on the pad ooo 🤦♂️ Yours Sincerely, Sodiq Pope.

dav1002: My own is,if CNG installation becomes relatively affordable I will do it on my car
If I get to put and riders load can't fit I will cancel and look for another rider
After all I can afford to drive to as many pu as I want since the cost of CNG is very low thereby reducing my running cost
On the other angle which one is nnpcl is still subsidising pms
Why don't they remove the subsidy and close the chapter once and for all make all man know the price is now fixed because like this that 800+ pms is selling for now will turn to 2000 tomorrow and we will still be hearing it's because they are still paying subsidy 😡 Forex determines the price of crude oil. There’s no how exchange rate will be 1628 naira to a dollar and we will be buying fuel at 885. Free market means you sell at your own price without any form of regulation. Fuel should be at least 1350 naira. That will be around 1500/1600 in other state. I guess everywhere go scatter, so make them they commot shock for una body small small till uncle Dango tell us wetin he go sell give NNPCL nah when we go truly know where we deh. 40k fuel below… it is well

northbird: Let's do the maths .. an average driver uses 20-25 litres on a typical workday. So there's a 6000- 7500 deficit to cover @ 300 extra markup if bought @ 920 per litre.
Mostly surge trips ( trips less than 8km) n long trips with minimal traffic will do the trick. This strategy will work only on the Bolt app. Its bound to fail on Indrive n particularly on Uber. You got the drift. With Indrive, I intend to pick trips wth atleast additional 1k to 1k5. 7k most be added to whatever net I project daily, till other factors determine price. |

northbird: The cost for cng conversion is too steep. 1m plus .. that's a lot of money.
Moreover ,it takes a huge chunk of your trunk space. As a ehailing person, it puts you at a big disadvantage. Most airport riders usually have luggage.
As long as the "God is good, Ekeson, young shall grow, Agofure ,Peace n co" have not switched. I wouldn't waste my time.
The question nobody has answered is" if you switch and few weeks later, cost of cng goes up , what will you do?.
As long as you can considerably recover your pms costs in ehailing, pms is still the preferred choice. We were once using dpk, still we switch to cooking gas. Then, cooking gas was seen as a very dangerous matter. Today, you barely see anyone that uses dpk. About taking huge chuck of the trunk? any load that can’t fit into the back sit, the rider should find alternative. Another trip will come, the main goal for me is to make profit. I agree with you on cost going up, because political instability is one major issue in this country. Regardless, we still have to do what we have to do. |

Omoapena: That's roughly oo,
Let's just say 20k fuel for 2days which I know some uses 30k for 2days.
It's a rough estimate tho... Boss make we no do roughly like this nah action time. I use full tank for 2 days, if I do full day. That’s when fuel was 568 and 29k will fill the tank. Today, 44k will fill my tank and if I work for 5 days that’s 110k in a week, 440k in a month. Wetin come remain? Make balablu just take it all. The best way is to go CNG like this |

Let's say, he uses 60k fuel weekly, that's 240k monthly and 8 months have passed in this year, that's 1.9m in 8 months just on fuel.
That fuel matter no really dey pain me cox we use it to make money but you see engine oil, that shit is going up every week, they now sell total 20w-50 for 22,400, I'm pretty sure it must have gone up to 25k like this.

Omoapena: It is better if you have the money, to cough out a million at once for CNG is what people can't afford, that 150k fuel weekly isn't what you spend at once, but spending 1m at once, it's not that easy🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I marvel when I see people use car worth 7m presently for this hustle. I respect Barbiturates and GeneralZodd decision for using spider. No be me, thro introspect into the hustle is rotating circle, unless you play winners take it all or you continue to put your car in shape, which will cost a fortune. If you try and save 3 million between Jan to December 7m car for don reach 11m. So what’s the money worth, even when you intend to sell your car? If you do like 240k in a week, that if all drivers can easily do that and you spend 150k on gas, remove commission and maintenance, what is left? Nah Tinubu empire person deh work for. My point, anyone that still have a year or 2 left in the hustle, even you can sell your car at the value of one with CNG, should strive to convert. I only don’t know much about CNG the effects right now in term of side effects. Even before boss passed on, I don deh reason covert my gen to gas. Like kerosine, we need to admit, it’s like we are gradually shifting away from PMS. |

Nigerians will only cry and wail but except God intervenes Bat will complete his 8yrs. Do u know how much he spent to enter as a candidate ? izzou: I am not God, but it is almost impossible for Nigeria to come back from this.
Floating the naira was where he shot himself on the foot.
We should also be reminded that as the naira crashes further, the price of PMS would go up. Before December, NNPC go dey sell pass 1k plus.
By 2027, Work done by the government = Zero, because a poor economy and insecurity would wipe every achievement off I laugh when we talk of 2027, Dangote did his own protest lately and secured his space. Do you think such cares about what befalls the masses? What I am trying to say the power that by are already positioning themselves from CJN to INEC. Omoapena: Aside from eating up space in the trunk, cost of conversion is way too expensive.
It's not almost 1m if not more than self, which driver will conveniently cough out a million to convert car from gasoline to CNG... I have been thinking of the conversion regardless of the space. If you spend 150k on gas weekly, that’s 600k monthly. Is it not better no go on CNG? |

Kaymaxi2222: yeah the last one really affected my plans......but at this rate I no go mind ooo cause we might be thinking that we will transfer the cost of this fuel to our rider but there is limit to everything, people will rarely order online and might opt for public transport and those that use public transport will be relegated to trekking.....God abeg oooo A ball will continue to move in motion, unless force acts on it. Almost everyone have a plan in view, but sometimes we just have to sacrifice for greater purpose. Told someone yesterday, this party or surge will come to end the moment there’s availability of fuel. It’s all about Demand and Supply, much drivers, low price. Rider barely care the cost of gas and the pathetic side to this, one driver go still carry yeye price like gbami. The biggest winner in all of this is the app coy. They go just deh sip their wine somewhere. |

Kaymaxi2222: But ....... it's funny how people are not even talking about the price but the scarcity.............omo tinubu do this one ooooo Lol… scarcity will always attract values. Pure economics. These people hold us for tight angle. The pathetic side to this, an average Nigerian survive on daily income, we can’t even go on strike for 3 days, almost everybody will be begging for the strike to be called off. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by pope191: 7:12am On Sep 05, 2024 |

Where else does this rubbish happen? Lol… we adjust so quickly in this country. I think the last protests, Nigerians scored own goal. Barbiturate: @ NNPC Herbert Macaulay, Sabo. Just got here and queue has already gotten to almost dodo pizza and "The place" Filling station never even begin sell fuel.
Gonna be a long wait I think Dangote starting operation is where all this problem is coming from. Stations are being mindful of the outcome and eventual price as well. I’ve place calls all thro my area and no station is selling. Queuing seem out of the option for me right now. |

Omoapena: Despite the increment, the fuel is still unavailable, Tinubu is a curse on us🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Right now there’s no fixed price. NNPCL is denying the price and it’s normal for others to hoard whatever they have left. I think Nigerians are part of the problem. Everyone should stay away from the filling station. If possible, do away from anything that uses fuel till things are back to normalcy. You see this attitude of let me bail myself and careless about what happens to other will always backfire on us. |
