Imo people absolutely HATE anambra people and do not regard you guys as our kin folk. It is a shame that we are even considered as belonging to the same ethnic group, but what to do? No Imo family would want their son or daughter to pick a spouse from across the border!! UNN STUDENTS MOURN THEIR DEPARTED ONES:

We officially want to use this medium to inform you all about the sudden death of our dear beloved lions and lionesses who met their untimely death on their way as they were going to meet their parents after school forced them out of the school premises on 2nd June, 2015 along Nsukka - Enugu Express way (Near 9th Mile corner). The accident was caused by a tanker that collided with buses carrying the students.

It was a horrible exprience as many died instantly while the rest rushed to the hospital.
- Some of them were in the final years but couldnt finish as they had hoped and after all their struggles in the den.
- Some were first years that just matriculated and were so happy that their dreams have come true.
- Some left some of their belongings in their rooms hoping to come back in 2 weeks time to continue their academic journey.
Dreams and hope shattered and its very painful.

Last week, UNN students embarked on a peaceful demonstration over erratic power supply and ack of water supply; school authority then decided to use a mandatory 2 weeks mid-semester break to force the students out of the school premises to avoid further demonstration and some of them met the deaths on their way going home.

Students will organise a general procession in memory of these students when school resumes and the date will be communicated to everyone before then.
Details of the names of the students and their departments will be made known to you later.

I am a student of unn, but am not in the campus right now, am on my IT. I heard about the riot and peaceful protest, it is really pitiful that we students would have to demand basic amenities. If there is no light how would you expect student to study effectively knowing that night studies is a culture in unn. Weak attention has been given to this issue especially as concerning the male hostel, this is not the first time they are demonstrating on the light issue.
I also think the FG should intervene, I think UNN has the highest paid fees among other federal schools, the government should come to our aid. I believe the current V.C has the best in mind for us but lack of funds has prevented optimal performance from him, the federal government should do something about this. I pray for quick recovery for the lions and the reckless drive should face the full arm of the law, he might even have done that intentionally to disrupt a peaceful protest.

Personally i dont have any problem with any girl from any state but why do people have this believe about them? What do you think? I have even seen some but i still don't believe its same with all of them.
Am not saying this because am from Anambra state but because of what I have exprienced from some girls I have done things with in the past and what some of my friends have also exprienced too. As am seriously searching for a true soul-mate and a lover, I pray not to have or fall in love with a girl from Imo state. I have dated some girls, mainly Igbos but the one that gave me toughest time was from Imo state, 3 of my friends have also said same thing.

Even the males from Imo state are the worst people you can ever do something with such as business, living together as room-mates, keeping as friends, etc. These people can "rack" sense like mad; they always claim or try to show "sense" in everything and this kind of attitude has been transfered to their girls. They will always like to cheat you in every little thing, they will always pretend not to have even when they have unless everybody brings out. They will pretend to be good or freindly when they need something from you and when they get it, they walk away; this is Imo people for you and according to them, they call it "wiseness and wisdom"

They say Anambra girls like money, its better someone pretends to be good or friendly when she wants something from you and stil be that which she pretends to be after getting that from you than changing after getting what he or she wants; this is Imo girls for you and according to them, they call it "sense and smartness"

You can hardly predict them even when they are laughing, dont take it as "true laugh".
My friend came to me this morning lamenting and regreting why he has an Imo guy as a room-mate and as a close friend, he was telling me how the guy has been "racking" sense for him for long and he kept enduring and tolerating but this time, its choking him and he has to speak out. Exactly same thing a female friend of mine complained about her female friend she is living with. Personally, I have also exprienced same thing both from their females and males.

My question is..
Why are they like this?
And my prayer is...
God please, dont give me an Imo girl as a girl friend or as a wife.

Give me a girl from any state apart from Imo..even if its from North or West, I will gladly accept her but not from Imo state because I dont have strength or know how to "rack" sense.

Well, there is more joy in giving than receiving..I think I do exprience the joy all the time. Am not trying to praise myself but the truth remains that when people benefit from you, you receive joy and blessings beyond your expectations.

My last post where I posted how people troop into my apartment even before the recent fuel scarcity to charge their phones daily due to lack of light in my area despite the fact that I extend my light for free to all the 9 rooms for all my neigbours living in their own respective self-contained rooms; some people were dropping some bad comments, insults and abusing some phones brought to my apartment by those who cant afford big phone (Very Bad though); some said I live in a mushin.....and so on.
Well, am a poor guy who shares the little I have with the people around me and you should do so.

Yearly during children's day (May 27th), I organise a small get-together for all the children living around my area and this year would make it the 4th time I have done that. I started staying here when I was about rounding up my undergraduate programme and now am doing my masters programme, I stil stay here because of its peaceful nature. Really, am gona miss them when I leave as I plan to leave soonest.

Even though my this year's annual little get-together for these kids wasnt as colourful as previous years because things aint so good this period as we all know, no DJ and no canopies as usual too but nevertheless, I must not disappooint my little friends because I didnt need to ask them to come before they came as kids that they are and since they expected it as usual, so I did the little I could for them and they all seemed very happy as usual. I couldnt capture or post all the pictures we took but just few.
Give to the people no matter how little, you will be blessed abundantly.

NB: For people that will find what to say...Yes, i dont live in London, the school am running my masters is not in a city, its the great UNN which we all know where it is.
