roqchiq: False claim Really, you have a million intelligent things to say, and google to help verify that 'false claim' and you come up with this??smh. You reek of desperation!
". For behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed...'' Luke 1:48 ---or maybe that verse isn't in your own bible--. Like it or not, the blessed virgin has the singular privelege/Grace that will NEVER be bestowed on another. I, who am of the generation of Abraham, partaking of the blessings promised him, call her blessed, what do you call her?? Amen sister, don't mind the heretics( do not dare hide this comment or ban me, heretics means non Catholic) they are out there to mislead the true believers and followers of God . |
We have superiority complex.
Thats the reason why we are not scared of you fellows.
and thats the reason why we never gave up on our tribes, religion and culture.
Dude you can't even prove to me that 500years ago your people were following the same and exact paganism-religion you are bothering people with . This is exactly what I meant when I said you guys suffer from inferiority complex , what makes you think we gave up on our culture, tribes and religion? Who told you a culture is static ? Do you think hausa people started the way you found them?
The Scandinavian abandoned their paganism, so did the Germans, etc today they are leading the world in all ramifications , which simply means your paganism doesn't guaranty anything , and you can embrace Christianity and still work for your tribe or country .
Stop suffering from inferiority complex |

highyo: I'm not suprise when Muslims started quoting the bible, even more than the so called Christains. of course it must happen. Ogboni too will quote the bible I've heard of a former satanist that said, the only book they use to attack is the bible. Babalawo too will study the bible, Christains will study it, even Athiest will study it too
do you know why? So that no one will say, I didn't know on that judgement day They quote it because it is the truth and the only truth, the only holy book on earth. The one inspired by God himself. |

roqchiq: @truthislight......which bible is he using? The one the Roman Catholic church gave the world? Abi there's another one?
Everytime you want to attack the Catholic Church you dig out the bible, why not use the koran or another holy book not compiled by the same church? Stop deceiving yourselves, the scriptures written by the prophets of old were compiled into what is known as the bible by the church. Do you actually believe that only 66 books were written? Those were the books you accepted, the catholic bible has more. And yet even more were not included, and still more are being discovered.
How many of the rites of the old testament do you practise, including passover which even our Lord Jesus Christ himself, practised. You people are beginning to sound like the pharisees and saducees, yapping about stuff you do not understand, and quoting scriptures you cannot begin to fathom.
I will refer you to ''the gospel of james'', sorry it's not in the bible, google it and read. There are many other such books, educate yourselves, find out the origin of your ''bible'', ask why some books were included and others were not. If you really want to liberate a people, find out the roots of their beliefs. Learn from, The whites that carted away your idols, and left you floundering and grasping desperately at the offered panache, whose roots you couldn't ascertain, and you are still floundering, thats why you jump from church to church to mosque to shrine.
Find a place and settle firmly, every being has a place. I have found mine in the Catholic Church, i will say my 'hail marys' without fear of ridicule, i'll say my 'our fathers' without fear of castigation, i will seek the intercessions of ''saints'' who are alive in Christ, i will welcome the 'holy spirit' as per the example of 'mary', least i flounder. Or you can go to judaism(no offence intended please) and await your saviour! Tears are rolling from my eyes, very well said sister beautiful piece of work. May God strengthen your Catholic faith. Our forefathers and leaders must b proud of you. Ps: try to come on the catholic thread , your brethren will b pleased to have someone like you among them |

I didn't ask the definition of both words, I'm more interested in the differences. What do protestants do during their so called services which make them angry whenever I ask if they attended today's mass , they are always correcting me as if the word mass is unholy.
BTW thank you for the definitions |

Christianity Etc › Re: Catholics And Confession by POPEII: 4:47am On Jan 01, 2014 |
JeSoul: I shall draw this discussion to an end with this, true bible believing christians believe that the bible does not contain any errors or inconsistencies!
and we believe this not becos humans are above error, but becos God is above error and He is more than able to ensure the survival and integrity of His word all thru thousands of yrs. These so-called inconsistencies usually fall flat when read in context, compared and lined up with other scriptures etc.
That's the point Imhotep! they are not Paul's words! It's the word of God spoken through Paul. Regardless of who wrote or spoke it, it is all inspired by the HolySpirit and is scripture and it therefore cannot contradict each other. If you hold that it can contain errors then I don't see how you can call it the word of God or inspired. Is our God now too small to write a book and make sure that everything lined up? that there were no errors? Is that the kind of god you serve? one that can't keep his story straight in a simple book? No, that is not the God who split the red sea, who stop the sun in its tracks and made it go back, who flooded the earth, who resuced Daniel, who did so many great and wondrous things. The catholic church is saying this God cannot keep his story straight in a mere book? Why do you have female pastors? |
