It was 3months to resumption and even if it was resumption week, do it only if you want to and can afford it.
Use your priority and be hopeful that it will come out within specified time plus you can still get 1-2 weeks extension.

OK, I was about 7 or 8, my mom caught me scooping NAN milk into my mouth from my little brother's milk tin.

(and to think a few years later, I hated that milk cos it tasted like what I felt breast milk would taste like then)

I saw her and quickly shut the tin, but my mouth was full, she saw it, but still called me to open my mouth and then says:

Yep. I was happily doing myself, when she decided to waltz in my room; mid session.

I probably could’ve gotten away with it, if I hadn’t kicked my phone off of the bed and my earphones hadn't been ripped out, filling the room with sounds that can’t be played off as a documentary.

So there I was, butt naked in front of my mother. With porn going on in the background, and she tells me nonchalantly to come out and cut onions for dinner.

I refused to show my face for a good 20 minutes. When I finally did, the first thing she asked was if I had washed my hands.

She still doesn’t knock first, and still gives me shit for catching me in the act.

You are really not changing profession just a tweak I'd say.
Chemistry is still base for Biomolecular/Biomedics so I'd say it won't pose any threat.
Even those who switch from opposite sides with genuine reasons don't have issues.
So get your acts together and know what you will say If you are asked why the change at the interview.

All contributions on this thread really helped . Thanks to everyone who has contributed. I need an urgent reply to this pls; I am applying for Masters at GCU, Scotland for 2020 session. I was trained a chemistry teacher (B.Ed) but interested in BioMolecular/Biomedical sciences. The admission team of the school requested a back up letter before issuing to me CAS which I shall provide. I want to know if changing my profession at this stage won’t affect my chance of getting employed as a biomedical scientist Abroad or here in Nigeria.

but I think they are considering adjustment on their immigration policy on tier4 student Visa. I saw jo Johnson tweet of bringing back the post study policy after brexit.
