Enough is Enough. You all are mother's who went through the rigors of pregnancy and childbirth to have your wonderful kids and you have more right over them than an outsider.

What you owe your kids and society at large is to have a well behaved and disciplined child who would not bring shame to you, but one whom you will be proud of no matter the age.

There are certain unacceptable behavior which some kids exhibit like biting, throwing objects at others, hitting others, stealing etc. All these unacceptable behavior is best taken care of immediately it is exhibited because a child is best molded from an early age. Do not say my child is too young to understand. "A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE".

Teacher's and other child care givers try a lot and we should appreciate their hard work. It takes extreme patience to handle a toddler much less about a dozen of them. Before a teachers head is bashed let's put ourselves first in the teachers position. If all kids are well behaved teaching will be smooth sailing.

No parent will be happy if his/her child is injured by another kid so we as MOTHER'S in particular have to strive extra hard to make sure we discipline our kids when necessary and produce fit and proper individuals in the long run."SPARE THE ROD AND SPOIL THE CHILD"

My Ist daughter is almost 11 years old, while my 2nd daughter is 8 years old and since I gave birth to them till date, their hair has not been cut. My mom told me then that the hair will fall off if I don't cut it, my nosy aunt in the US said the same thing but today they both have natural beautiful long hair that my 2nd daughter is even complaining that it is too thick to comb and I should cut it cos its too full. (No plans to use hair relaxer till further notice)

All in all follow your heart and do what you feel is right for your kids.

I can say with all CONFIDENCE that after seeing my mum inject herself on her stomach everyday with insulin since the late 80's till January 4, 2017 when she was introduced to okro in water, I thank the Almighty God that till date she has not used the insulin or her drugs again. She puts 6 fingers of okro in a full glass of water after cutting off both ends and leaves it overnight, then drinks the water in the morning. She is much stronger than before that people had to ask what the secret was.

God has given us solutions for all our problems but the issue is that we tend to overlook them or underrate them.

Popping pills always is not the best. If your wife has a well timed regular menstrual flow, tell her to download Lady timer app from Google play store. The app works by she determining if she wants to get pregnant, avoid pregnancy or just monitoring her cycle. It tells her when she's fertile, ovulating, safe time to have intercourse ranging from high risk, medium and low risk.

But most importantly you have to work TOGETHER so as to achieve your objective.

OP- I stand to be corrected but what i read concerning this story is that the woman in question used the powder on her panties before wearing it for many many years , (as a teenager till when she advanced more in age) which i believe was an old school method of naintaining freshness (i believe most people did it cos i first saw that in boarding school though most girls rubbed powder on their laps which they said was to prevent stickiness from sweat). That alone is enough reason to have ovarian cancer cos there is immediate direct contact with the private region of the female body.

I dont believe that using dusting powder for heat rash or on other less sensitive parts of our bodies can cause cancer. .

@ OP please do not allow your wife take PROCOLD. Let her stick to her routine drugs or pregnacare (#3000- #3500 here in Abuja) as the case may be and take only vitamin C for the catarrh.

As for taking Milo, it should be in moderation. Too much of everything is not good.

Pls if she has any health concerns she should talk to her doctor and if still in doubt double check with a matron ( when I was pregnant I always double checked with the matron and on some occasions she countered the doctor who then apologized. Matrons know a great deal especially if you meet experienced ones).

The method that worked for my kids was giving only WARM WATER first thing in the morning before any meal or drink and before 30mins they are running to poo. If this doesnt work over the weekend please go to any general hospital on monday morning.

I got an infinix X801 Joy pad 8s November 15 last year @ #19995 and it got broken February this year.

I took it for repairs at carlcare office here in Abuja where it stayed for over a month after paying o but it wasn't repaired cos the parts were not available. I retrieved it back and called repeatedly to know if they had the parts but received a negative response.

I called also to know if I could get a swap but was told no.

Just yesterday my husband went to Carlcare to fix another handset and he enquired again about the Joypad & he was told that things had changed and because the parts were still not available he could now swap but the device should still be within the13 month period of purchase and thankfully mine was still covered.

With happiness in my heart that I could get a replacement @ a reasonable cost, i got out my receipt and the Joypad and my husband took it to Carlcare and guess what, he was told they would swap it with an H8 @ #27000 (more than what I paid for the Joypad).

Pls o, is that how its meant to be cos right now I am furious at Carlcare cos they tossed me up and down through the months with different responses then now crown it up by telling me to pay more when my warranty is still valid.

Once redeployment is on marital grounds, its your husband's name that appears on the certificate and that's final but if it is on other grounds then your maiden name will be used.

Doc. hi. Thanks for replying me. Before i could go for the evacuation i had strong contractions and the foetus was expelled naturally. When i went back to the hospital(general) i was told to do a pelvic scan and was told there wasn't need for the evacuation. Pls my main concern now is this , am i meant to be on antibiotics to prevent any infection because at the hospital i was told its not necessary. Pls i need your advise. Thank you

Bed Rest. Complete rest. Then go to hospital asap. There, you get necessary tests and ultrasound, continue bedrest under mild sedation.

Thanks for your response. Just back from the hospital where a scan was carried out and the report said i had a blighted ovum. Instead of a 10week old pregnancy scan showed 6weeks and no fetal activity. I was told to come back for an evacuation this evening but presently i m in so much pain cos the bleeding has intensified. Pls is it advisable to do the evacuation or wait for the foetus to expel itself? Thank you

Hi Docs. I am 10weeks pregnant and saw blood when i peed yesterday evening but it was not much. It stopped but started slightly this morning
I know i have to go to the hospital but right now its raining heavily and i cant drive under such conditions. Pls what can i do before i go to the hospital? Thanks

I see a lot of HYPOCRISY in some of the posts here. Put yourselves in the OPs shoes at that point in time and tell us with all SINCERITY in your heart that you wont do worse. We hear of children missing daily and when you have the opportunity to correct your own we hear trash been said. No society is normal whether you live in Lagos, Sokoto, UK, USA etc and its left for you as the parent to mould your child so that you wont say had i known tomorrow.

@OP i dont believe that a parent will intentionally set out to harm his child. Call your son and other children and give them a heart to heart talk on the dangers of wandering off without informing you or their mum where anyone is going to. Thereafter apologise to him and give him a hug. You did what any concerned parent will do and i believe he will never do such again.

Ok. Though going by the new trend, some people dont go to their home town for their traditional marriage. Everything takes place where the parents are but "to each, his own". I am not really sure how long it will take the church to wed you but i guess it should be between 3-6months.

Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage. Since you are igbo and on this i stand to be corrected, you cannot BOYCOTT your traditional marriage ceremony. Its a wise decision to go for a modest ceremony so you can plan well for your future after the wedding. The traditional marriage ceremony (@7am) and white wedding (@10am)can both take place on the same day. This saves you costs cos alot of guests wont show up that early but will show up for the white wedding thus killing 2 birds with one stone. The court/registry can take place the week after or anytime thats suitable but you have to go and book for a date before then.

@ OP- Congratulations on the birth of your baby.
Pls let your mum or hubby press your stomach with hot water (you will feel the way the blood will flow faster) & pls tie your tummy religiously (morning & night) for 6weeks & more till when you are satisfied with the way your stomach is. Its painful but you will be pleased with the result. It worked perfectly for me & i always give this advice to new mums. I dint do any exercise & people are still surprised that i gave birth to 3 children cos my stomach is flat.
PLS AVOID ALCOHOL. Just take your pepper soup & hot beverages.

You can be deceived into believing he was your child at birth but putting another mans name on the childs school report card when he is living under your roof as your "son" is as much insult as you can take. Their action clearly shows that they were using you to raise the child till when they take him away from you cos they will have evidence to show that he never bore your name. Sorry to say but your "wife" is a dangerous person & living with her might put you in harms way. People go through various illegal ways to get kids but they STRIVE as much as possible to prevent the truth from coming out by limiting contact with their accomplices but in your case, the reverse is the case (mother,father,mother in law) na wa o. Even if both of you have medical problems, 2years is a really short time to undertake such a despicable act. I will say a VERY BIG SHAME ON YOUR WIFE.
