Just yesterday I had first hand information about the energy crisis in the country. I got to know that the whole talk about wasted $16billion on the power sector was propaganda meant to tanish the image of certain political figures and a party in the eyes of uninformed Nigerians. The CBN,Accountant General and the final National Assembly's reports showed that something in the neighbourhood of $2b was spent, not $16b. The whole story about stolen $16b was political ruse . Nigerian politicians are selfish,greedy and wicked. Why deceive Nigerians this way? APC actually came to destroy Nigeria. It is a congregation of people bereft of ideas, failures and impiousness. It is ruled by men and women who are clanish, morally debased and imprudent. What is the fuse about Atiku going to America sef? Obama ruled America, never stepped foot into Nigeria. Donald Trump, the current American President, has not been to Nigeria yet. Atiku doesn't need to go to America to be the President of Nigeria. Let's stop being childish about these things and try to face our real issues. The issues are that we currently have a government that is incapable of stabilising the country economically and politically. We need to try another party. I seldom comment on issues as the touch on political matters, not for want of what to say but for the reason that many are just plain annoying. It is better to have a corrupt Atiku than to have a clueless PMB. It is better to have a corrupt but productive Atiku than to have brain-dead PMB It is better to have a religious-tolerant Atiku than to have a religious bigot PMB continue to be in power. It is better to have an educated Atiku in power than to continue with certificate-less PMB. It is better to have a de-tribalised Atiku in power than to continue with a PMB that divides the country into 97% and 5% proportions. It is better to have an Atiku who cares about security of lives than to hold on to a PMB who has failed to curb the menace of the killer herdsmen. And yes, it is better to have an Atiku that knows about how the economy works than a PMB who knows only about his cows. |

MTN was granted pioneer tax status in Nigeria for 10 years, when they first started operations. And most of their equipment are bought and installed by their sub-contractors, who pay the customs duties and taxes, at point of entry. So which one is non-payment of taxes for the past 10 years for goodness sake?
