kingthreat:Stop lying, I did get under your nerves hence your insult which I didn't take seriously. Lmao... If only children could talk you would be surprised how many times they insult their irresponsible mothers shortly before or after suckling. Why do some babies bite the nipples they're suckling? Nigeria deserves to be divided because she has destroyed millions and will still destroy more if she isn't stopped today. 1 Like |

Christistruth00: You can't overcome the challenges if you refuse to deal with the root causes of the problem......Nigeria If one part of Nigeria decides to introduce political Sharia laws, negotiate with terrorist, and refuse to educate it children then it's impossible to build a country. Nigeria future is Somalia , Chad or Niger Republic. Southern Nigeria has a change to extricate itself from Nigeria and build a better future for it's people. 3 Likes |

maak400: Tell me one politician who wants the country to break up? Whatever region you are from, tell me one politician who wants the country to break up? Please, leave Tinubu alone. You can't hate on a man for pursuing his dreams. If he wants to be president, there is nothing wrong with it. He is a Nigerian, and the Nigerian constitution allows him. 1 Like |

Fejoku: Let them first defeat Boko Haram. No country has won a war on two fronts, ask the Germans in 1918/1939 or France in 1812. How long will the Tucano Fighters last when they run out of fuel, It cost less than $200k to buy an Aero L-39 Albatros (used) and convert into military use. 1 Like |

Racoon: You people are exaggerating our problems as a nation so that you can run. Come on, every country in the world has challenges of their own, even the United States with its high crime rate, many of which are hushed. Our country still has potentials. In fact, our country is projected to be a global superpower in the future. What we need are good leaders and good citizens. We need a better political system, and a federalism where power is shared equally between the central and the component units. 1 Like 1 Share |

sulaak:You're very correct. They will do everything to avoid fighting on multiple fronts. As they focus on the Yorubas currently, you'll see how nice they'll be to Igbo politicians. Is it because they love Igbos or even those politicians? Never. It is just a game for them. Mind you they won't give any presidency to those Igbo politicians. That's outside their game plan. Rather, they'll orchestrate a coup. Every move they will be making at present is to increase their hold in the south. The earlier the entire south gear towards an open confrontation of monumental proportion, the better their chances of getting a peaceful division. This is the situation. 3 Likes |

kingthreat: Don't mind them. Biafra lasted for only 30 months, and yet every social and political problems that plague Nigeria was evident there. There was corruption, police brutality, and misappropriation of funds. Adichie is a more honest writer than Achebe. People should read her Half of a Yellow Sun, and tell me how Biafra fared better than Nigeria. Some people will call the book a fiction. But a lot of research went into that book. 1 Like |

BluntTheApostle: I read Half of a Yellow Sun , what's in the book that made Chimamanda more honest than Achebe who was a key member of Biafra? 30 months of crisis against Nigeria and mercenaries and intelligent warfare of the Yorubas. That was an emergency situation. Anything can happen under warfare and economic blockage. She was not born during Biafra. This time around, Biafra and South South are fully ready waiting for the Yorubas. The South West Frontline States of Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana and Ivory Coast are on standby. You cannot close our borders and think they are happy. You think Fulani can survive in Yoruba land during emergency ? |

babaolofin: When you read Achebe, his nationalism is unmistakable. He found it hard to give balanced accounts. Adichie may not have been born when the War happened, but she had resources like uncles who fought in the war, and her educated parents and their associates. Achebe was an envoy for most part of the war, except during the early periods. He was hardly ever directly in the thick of the war. So, he could not have known about the corruption which was more evident in the relief centres and the Biafran military. |

BluntTheApostle: Don't be ignorant. No country on planet earth is 100% corruption free. Not USA , not China, not Germany. What makes a country functional is not the total absence of corruption. What makes a country functional are the following: 1. Unreserved altruistic patriotism from the citizens 2. Uniformity of goals, ideals and ideology 3. Genuine desire to progress hence the enthronement of meritocracy 4. Local Scientific innovation and inventions to solve local problems and improve life of the populace. Biafra even in war period ticked all the above boxes. Biafrans so much love Biafra that millions laid their lives for Biafra and their descendants still proudly fly Biafra flags till today. Biafrans are united to desire for economic progress and Christian ideals. Biafrans built their war crafts and weapons, refined crude oil, amongst other innovations. You will be highly ignorant to compare a living nation like Biafra that breathes in the heart of all genuine Igbo men and women with a dead dysfunctional British colonial abomination called Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Finally!!! Only the Northerners and the Yoruba people getting stipends from the government are for One Nigeria. The truth is that we are too many in Nigeria and the leaders we have had cannot lead over 200 million people.the division will help with more employment. What is accepted here in the South West is not accepted in the North and vice versa. Our values and cultures are different. It is a proof that One Nigeria is a farce. 1 Like |

Igboid: Don't even make me laugh. It is normal for people to be happy when there is a significant change. Nigerians always rejoiced at every military coup. So, it is nothing new. Every Biafran was happy initially, and contributed their best. But when reality hit them. When they witnessed police brutality, when they saw fellow (influential) Biafrans hoarding relief meant for everyone, when they saw that forceful military conscription was only carried out on poor Biafrans while rich and privileged Biafrans like Ojukwu and Achebe lived in reserved areas, enjoying life to the fullest, they lost their joy. Ask any Asaba person who witnessed the war if they felt happy in Biafra? Even in such a young nation, there was already discrimination, as people openly discriminated against people from Asaba. Please, Biafra was hell. Supposing there was no war, the country will still not have survived. |
