How do you meet such tenant?
Arbitration?
What's was the ruling of this arbitration?
Is arbitration a court?

Such tenant will never pay, from experience.

Avoid the following tenants
- Contractors (They keep expecting millions from contracts that never happened, telling you how they know Sanwo-Olu and how his yet to pay for the road in Ikorodu or supplies they made to Alausa that are yet to be paid for)

- Business men (don't even make the mistake at all, before he says, "I am a bus....man", just tell him straight up, you don't give out your houses to business men, they are never truthful, mess up the house, give false information, bring more than the specified number of occupants the house can occupy)

- Pastors (it's a constant battle with them, telling church members that you are the reason for his lack of success, and when it time to pay, he tell you stories, that God will do a miracle. I would have mentioned churches but I'll let it pass)

- Lawyers (On no account should you lease to them)

- Artists ( You will spend more than the money you collected for damages and rent to put the house to a good taste, my property I lease to Asa in Surulere, I spent 950k to put the apartment in order before the current occupant could stay there)

In addition, ensure whoever you rent out the house to, their wives MUST be working. I learnt that here.

There are somethings you have to keep secrets from relatives besides I have my reasons for not informing my uncle before coming to faceless forum...The context here is don't promise what you can't do..... besides stop spewing thrash if you don't know the Genesis of my conversation with him...

If I was him, I'll be glad I did not help you. What kind of entitlement mentality is this?

Yes he promised to help you but has also changed his mind. What is wrong with that? He probably saw through you and here you are justifying his decision not to help.

Please was anybody able to successfully buy tbills today? I went to zenith bank early this week in anticipation of the next auction date but I was told by the officer in charge of tbills that purchase of tbills has been suspended for now. I'm really confused. Is that peculiar to zenith bank alone? I want to know if I'll need to move my money to another bank.

From personal experience/view Zenith Bank is not TB friendly. I have tried them severally to no avail. You should have accounts with different banks if you intend to invest in TB so that you can switch when needed.

Banks like Stanbic IBTC, First Bank, GTB and Former Diamond Bank are those that works for me. I don't know if access is okay for it.

If you remove all these categories of people, who is left to rent to?. With the high unemployment in the country, how many people are actually gainfully employed?.

The beauty of a faceless forum is dat one can mask under the handle of a user name, ask pertinent questions and get solutions to ones problems that might have costed an arm or a leg if one has visited a consultant

BUT

BUT all too often we see people trying to get personal, wanting to get phone numbers and mail addresses forgetting "The true nature of close face to face relationships"

Until Kata Kata burst

Then we now have a plethora of character assassination.........

Please let's learn to be civil, keep private discussions private, don't let stuff out into public space when the going goes sour, when you probably would have kept quiet if all had turned out well
