My Ilorin people let's embrace peace. We cannot fight for God and anybody appearance should not be another persons worry. I have not had any order from Ilorin for my powerbank for laptop since this crises started and it is really a disturbing situation. I sell power solutions for laptop. Christianity has done a lot to better our life and improve on our living standard, what has islam done/brought to this world aside terrorism, pain and agony? Why is these Muslims dragging a school built by christians? Why not build your own school?

Because in Nigeria Muslims don’t build. They only steal, kill & destroy in the name of their god. They’d rather the country becomes like Afghanistan for easy access to keep stealing the oil money. Lazy mofos

Can you image!

Wear whatever they want?

Please can you explain how it will look like if 100 students wear whatever they want?

Wear what the school rules says.

It's not a university. We can't allow students in primary and secondary to wear whatever they want

1. Hijab is not like other religious attire, Muslim wear that everywhere but you people wear your religion dressing to religion domain.

2. Hijab is compulsory on a Muslim lady just like a cloth is compulsory on a sane human, saying "there are Muslims that wear hijab but do ....." Is not a justification for anything. People have been using things the wrong way from time immemorial. Should we scrap off pastors or Catholic priest because some have misused there office?

3.please and please, no Christian should ever talk about tolerance when a Muslim says No on a particular issue relating to his religion. Nothing in the Bible says "hate hijab" but y'all are against it, so when a Muslims says "I can't greet you for Christmas" because giving birth to God is against my religion why do you people say he/she is intolerant?

4. Christians should take back their schools but in as much as it's Government funded school, hijab should be allowed else all Christian in Muslim named school should also be forced to wear hijab.

Even in European countries, students wear hijab to schools.

I won't reply emotional bashing but logical reasonings. Thanks.

You see that change of name cannot be possible and hijab will not be allowed in Christian schools.

i don't understand all the intelligent minds we have in Nigeria. It's like their brain hibernates when they are in government and only wakes up when they're out. Reno spits the bitter truth and the wisdom in his nuggets is like discovering a cure for Corona Virus.

It is simple, they should all put the school dressing uniform in disarray.
Every religion should have their style of uniform and wear it. Let us show them that we can all be mad together.

Even in Saudi Arabia, the hijab is no longer required wearing. Does Nigeria and Kwara want to be more Muslim than the custodians of Islam?

I Wonder oooo..

They call ISLAM intolerant religion but there are christain students in muslim schools who do not use hijab and are not force to use it, why can't you christains allow the muslim students express their constitution and religion right and allow them wear their hijab in peace. It is now obivious which religion is INTOLERANT.

What Reno need to understand is that Hijab is a way of life and part of every muslimah, and saying that everyone one should wear what they like is just like saying, they should wear their Sunday dress to schools too, not like the Hijab that is wear everyday, and wearing Hijab won't make the Christian less Christian, cuz i went to a sch where Muslim wears their Hijab and Christians wear their beret, and their is never a fight but coexistence. What i see hear is the fear of unknown instill in the founder of this Christian school, they just need to learn what really being a Muslim is.

The mistake many non muslims will keep making is when they hold Saudi Arabia as our standard for us to follow.
Our faith is not based upon titles, geographical locations or as it were, who " influences the world.
Part and parcel of accepting Islaam comes with the way you dress.
And its even more ludicrous that this point is being used by Mr Reno to score cheap points.
Let him tell us today if the the pope decides that being part of christanity means noyhimg against going nude I hope our dear Mr Reno will extend that same gesture to accepting such drivel as part of his faith.
In Islaam there is no room for rigmaroling.
Not even the Imaam of Makkah has one iota of right to change that.

There is absolutely nothing logical in these point of yours.

Anyway i'm not surprise. Muslims, they reason the same way when it comes to their religion. Religion of peace indeed.

A church and a mosque is opposite eachother using a ahujah speakers. But the church was told to remove theirs but leaving the mosque.

Well my own take is what's so special about the hijab?

The christian Roman Catholic Reverend Sisters as all know and always seen at all times are always adorning their head with a veil (that's equivalent of Hijab) all the time,so what's the fuse about the Muslims following their religious teachings by always covering their head. I believe that every open minded individual knows there are several bible verses that talk about covering of hair for the women.

And that is why there's a neutral uniform which is Beret. Can u say using beret is a doctrine for a particular religious??

I don’t like Reno but he’s very correct on this. Public funded schools should be extremely secular or generally liberal in terms of dressing. Muslim alone cannot be allowed to wear Islamic insignia while others are denied.

Again, are we really ready for the confusion that a generally liberal dressing will bring? We all saw what played out in Osun state during the administration of Rauf Aregbesola when the state government allowed female Muslim students to wear hijab.

Like I posited yesterday, the only solution is to keep our public schools secular when it comes to dressing. Anybody that wants to wear hijab to school should simply attend private and missionary Islamic schools. Good enough, we have lots of them around.

Read his content well and digest... He isn't religious bias, Nigeria is a multi-religious state and u can't impose urs in a school built by others wic call for Neutral uniform.... Religious extremism is causing great damage to youth of this day aswear

Actually I don’t see anybody going against the use of Hijab here, this school we are talking about here is a missionary school, it won’t be ideal to go against their etiquette, they have their rules and regulations which cannot be breached. As a Muslim, I’m totally against this move, the truth must be told. Abide by their rules or take your children to a Muslim school where using of hijab will be accepted. I’m a Muslim with different sha.

Funny. Saudi Arabia, a Muslim country shouldn't be hold as a standard? Lol. No wonder Saudi Arabia is the only progressive Muslim country out of the several Muslim countries in the world. I know a retrogressive Muslim like you don't uphold progress as a standard. You rather uphold ruins, chaos, desolation as standards like we have in the North and that's the main reason the Saudi Prince don't allow any Muslim from other countries to seek permanent residence in his country. He knows what you retrogressive people are capable of. He doesn't want you losers in his country and he ensured it.
