Most states have long returned missionary schools to the various missions/owners. What is stopping the Kwara state government from doing same? 1 Like |

OmoManU:. Like I say and will say you read with a biase mind just to argue because if you where able to comprehend what reno said and what I also told you then u wont have ask this kind of question. I will answer you for the last time and if you fail to comprehend what am going to say then I will have no option to enlighten you again. I said uniform is not a Christian, islam or traditional dressing. It is just a simple dressing that is been accepted by these religions for more than 50yrs which as lead to peace and learning environment among the different religion. Then of a sudden some people just decided to introduce hijab into the uniform which has now cause hatred and anger among the religions. If every body is to bring their dressing to the uniform it will lead to deformity, irregularities and division of sect among student their by in the future it can lead to a more disastrous problem which might takes decade to curb. Thank you. |

If we can eliminate Islam and Christianity in Nigeria, Nigeria will really be a great place to live in. The two religions have done Nigeria more harm than good. |

OmoManU:I don't have a pope. But your behaviours is satanic. In a school that you contributed zero kobo to buy the lands nor to build the building. You are scheming a take over. Is this behaviour from Allah or Shaitan? Religion of Hooligans! Religion of Aggressors!! Religion of Shaitan! The evidence is very CLEAR and EVIDENT! |

oloyedewaris: Adolf Hitler didn't fight because of his religion. If he was fighting because of his religion, you do realise his wars were against the Israelites in his country? Why would he fight the Israelites if he was fighting for his religion? He was more of a tribal person seeking to secure his country away from non Germans, especially the Israelites.. Biafra are securing their lands from land grabbing Fulani terrorists. They're not fighting cos of religion. However, take a look at boko haram terrorists in the North bombing everywhere hence had turned the North into desolate. These are the people fighting for religion. Adolf Hitler, ipob etc didn't turn their region into ruins like how the boko haram did to the North. They were only trying to protect their countries. Next time, think before you post. |

oluwaseyi0:Rosery is an accessory, Rosery are beads same with the Muslim tesbir and I don't see Muslim asking for tesbir. Hijab is a necessary part of Muslim clothings. and for years they have been forced to put it off and now they said it is enough. So it is okay when people are fighting against old beliefs but it is not okay 4 Muslim student to fight about the old uniform believe? And yes if the traditional worshippers are recognised by the state govt as a religion, they should also be considered when making rules guilding the state school. So don't even compare Rosery to Hijab because one is an accessory while the other is a cloth and it is the issue of uniform (cloth) that is under discussion here. Accessories can be added whenever dey so wish |

oloyedewaris:Those missionaries used their money to establish those schools for Christians and not for you Muslims. So they can choose to name the school any name they like. Why would Muslims pretend to want to join the Christians as students and then start causing trouble. Is Ansaru Deen not a Muslim name and a Muslim missionary school. Go there and enjoy your hypocritical religion to the fullest without hindrance. Mtchew |

Reference:It is just common sense. These schools are now state run but the schools only want to be collecting money from govt while dey continue doing their thing. Who does dat? The real fight is to find a way to take back d school from the state not for stupid men and women to gather and start harassing innocent children just because they are wearing Hijab. Those children feelings no even concern them |

oloyedewaris: The morals already got covered by the covering of their bodies with their uniforms, so what exactly are you crying about? Are you salivating over the hairs on these little kids? Is that what turns you on? Then, you are only agreeing to the fact that you and your fellow Muslims are perverts! Go practice your nuisances in Muslim schools. As simple as ABC. |

lanryoung: Yes ooo https://punchng.com/we-wont-allow-hijab-in-kwara-mission-schools-can-insists/ " Owoeye, who said Christians are bona fide citizens of the state, added, “We have equal rights under the provisional constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” He argued that the government was aware that Christian Religious Knowledge teachers were not posted to Muslim grant-aided schools and that the gathering of Fellowship of Christian Students was not allowed in Muslim grant-aided schools. “Similarly, we want the government to be informed that her decision and plan to provide hijab and enforce its use in our Christian mission grant-aided schools will not be tolerated as it is an infringement on our freedom of religion as enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria,” he said." Islam is so tollerant |

One thing about the truth is that it is constant, no matter how you choose to twist it, the truth will always prevail. The most painful thing is that when Christian raise money, they invest in schools and other projects, but if Imam make 10m at a function, they will share it on the spot, now they want to impose their ideology Ina place where they did not sow. Up till today we still contribute money in church to maintain the schools, government is just paying salary, and that makes them the owner of the school? Because they are grant aided school doesn't mean they are owned by government, America gives grants and aids to Nigeria, does that mean America owns Nigeria? When they came up with same sex marriage we resist it because it is alien to our culture, in a similar vein wearing hijab to school is against Christian culture, Kwara State government should not force anything on them, if they don't know let them ask, the most painful thing is that majority or those behind this crisis are beneficiaries of missionary education now biting the hands thar fed them. 2 Likes |

lahizak: They're not owned by the states. The contract signed says so. These missionary schools are simply made public in order to be accessible to every child irrespective of their religion, ideology etc. It doesn't make them government owned. Same thing is practised in USA. Missionary schools are public schools for easy access to every child yet they're not government owned.. Go to Muslim schools. It's that simple. |
