Thanks for your reply ... The issue of the transcript really messed me up ...who knows ? I would have been one of those happy for getting the visa already. I know September intake would be over soon and that's my major fear. Do you know of colleges I can apply to now ? Most colleges on the link have been occupied already and others are offering online

Good morning nairalanders
I'd like to known if One qualifies for NSE and doesnt have ielts
Seeing people here still go through the channel with ielts waiver letter for those going for MSC,pgd?
Can someone going for bsc also go through this channel by providing a ielts waiver letter from secondary school ? Or is there any doc one can attach and still go through nse route

That would be 4 hours per day, regular working hours is 40 hours per week which is equivalent to 8hours per day , it depends on the kind of job you get but it shouldn't exceed 20 hours per week .

Please note that you can work for more than 20hours per week during this COVID 19 period .

I asked during a Q&A with government officials in New Brunswick and they confirmed it

Hi,
You applied to Manitoba and MUN? That's quite commendable, any news from MUN?

Yes they applied together as a family. While his was for student permit, theirs were for visit visas. Below are the documents I attached:

@Baphil
I really appreciate your response. Did the children and their mother apply at the same time as the principal applicant- their father/husband?
What other documents did you include to support the kids' application?

Thanks!

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello people,
Is there anyone here that got English Test waiver letter from OAU(Obafemi Awolowo University)? I need a contact at OAU that can help me with an English Test waiver letter for admission in a Canadian school. Thanks

Trying to apply to MUN and realised that an English waiver letter is required for admission. Is it a must I get a waiver letter from my previous institution or I could ignore? Anyone gotten admission from MUN without an English waiver letter before? Pls help, it urgent!

Got acceptance letter with MUN without the English Language waiver, chose not applicable as my taught language was the English Language. Besides in your transcript, it would show you did ''use of English in your year one''.

Send them a mail with your transcript and explain things to them, highlight the SER001 you did back at school.

All the best.

Wow! Great to hear! I'm actually applying for a Master's programme with a Master's degree which doesn't entails "Use of English course".
Do you suggest I mail MUN to find out if the English Language waiver is mandatory or can be overlooked?

Also, when did you get the offer at MUN?

Thanks for the response.

Good morning everyone. for those asking about MUN English wavier, your transcript is suppose to have where they write English as medium of instruction. every transcript is suppose to have it. cause when i applied last year. my school sent my transcript and it was indicated there and i also submitted my school recommendation letter which also has English as medium of instruction.

I also applied to University of Winnipeg, Winter session(Jan. 2022). Based on the mail I received after my application was completed, admission decisions will be sent to applicants starting from 2 weeks after application deadline which is March 25th.
Hopefully, 2 weeks after March 25th, we can expect to hear from them.

Best wishes to us all!

Here's my timeline

Hi, I think my application will be similar to yours. I need to ask this question. Did you submit your personal bank statement? If you did, how much personal funds did you have in it before your dad transfered your living expenses to you. Did you show any personal asset of yours, like land, car, building. Or you only showed that of your sponsor? Obviously, I'm asking this to know how you were able to convince the VO about your "Personal asset and Financial status."

Hello Everyone

I just received an acceptance letter from Conestoga and Centennial College to pay deposits.

Initial I expected after initial deposit, balance will be required on or before resumption. But Conestoga expects payment by June.

Please I need to decide on what college to accept. Does anyone know when Centennial expects balance. It wasn’t mentioned on the letter.

For Centennial- After the tuition deposit, you are to pay the balance of your tuition on or before " the first semester due date" which I think it is always 3months before your semester of study( not 100% sure).

Surprised you said this information is not on your acceptance letter, I would suggest you send an email to corresponding international team for the right and accurate date as it defers because of intakes.

You can get your dad to gift a property to you out of love and affection he has for you and he has irrevocable power over the asset. This will aid your application as per the "Personal Assets and Financial Status"

Hello Spectro, congratulations on your admission. I applied as well for Fall 21 and I wanted to find out how long it took to get your offer
Thanks
Spectro:
Good evening, gurus in the house.

I have gotten my letter of admission from the University of Windsor for a Masters program. My sponsors are my parents, and there is enough funds for the academic year. I also have all required documents.

My question is, 'Do I have to wait till I pay my tuition before applying for student visa, or should I apply immediately (even as I have not yet paid my tuition)? The window for tuition payment opens in April at The University of Windsor for Fall 2021 semester, and I don't know if I should wait after payment of the first semester tuition before applying for student visa.
