What happens after paying for visa and ihs fees, are there other fees to pay before doing biometrics?

There's no other fees to pay unless you choose to pay for assisted scanning.

Success2011:
Greetings to everyone in this wonderful family.

My cousin alongside her kids did their biometrics on the 9th of December, 2020 and UKVI sent acknowledgment emails that applications have been received.

14th December 2020: An email came in from Sheffield that IHS payment is needed for the kids, as the system seemingly exempted them(kids) during the process of completing and submitting the visa forms. IHS payments were made same day and acknowledgment emails received.

19th January, 2021: This email came up: “ Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer”.

Up till now, no further information and the tracking still show that the applications are still with DMC.

Please, gurus what’s the best step we should take? Thanks in advance

I think you should send a paid enquiry with their application details to UKVI. It cost about 1650 naira or thereabout.

Good day everyone. Please, I need your advice.
My brother got married (sham) in 2018 to a British national and applied to visit her in February 2019 because he was schooling in another country at the time. He was refused on the ground that he could not explain the inflow of cash in his account and his wife also doesn't have sufficient funds. He was asked not to appeal but can reapply when his circumstances change. Now he has a good job and would want to reapply next year with his real wife ( married in 2016) and they have a 2 years old child together. His wife (real) being the real applicant for the student visa. They want to apply as a family. They intend to get a divorce for the sham marriage this year (2021) and remarry the (real) wife in 2022. Are there chances that the visa will be granted? Any suggestions or advice will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Good day gurus in the house am a new member and obviously a novice here but I have read to some extent the thread which has helped me alot terms of info and what to do
Am preparing to apply for a spouse visa and my spouse is my sponsor
Does my spouse need to pay the application fee from the uk account he should send me the money to pay from nigeria since am applying from nigeria?
2. Will he be required to submit any docs over there or to send them all to me for my interview and biometrics
What basically will be required of him to do apart from the docs and cover letter

1. It is better for your spouse to pay the application/IHS fees from UK as the limit on your own Nigerian debit card may make such huge payment difficult/impossible.

2. It depends on whether you are opting for assisted or self service; if it is self service, pdf scanned copies of all documents can be uploaded by either you or your partner on the tlscontact page. But if you are doing assisted service then you will take all documents with you to your biometrics appointment for assisted upload at an additional fee.

All the best.

Your brother has to be careful here, before they apply for student visa he has to make sure that he is married to only one woman with a proof that the other marriage has ended.

Electronic bank statements need to be stamped on every page or get a letter from the bank confirming they are genuine.
Priority is 573 pounds but they are temporary unavailable.

In order to combine both Self employed and employment together, it must be within the same financial year as the self employed.

If the child is British citizen then they are not subjected to immigration control so therefore will be exempted but if the child is not British then threshold will increase. £18,600 is the financial requirement to be met.

"An additional gross annual income of £3,800 is required for the first child sponsored
in addition to the partner and an additional £2,400 for each further child. The level of
the financial requirement will therefore be:

• partner with no children or no children who are subject to the income
requirement – £18,600
• 1 child in addition to the partner – £22,400
• 2 children in addition to the partner – £24,800
• 3 children in addition to the partner – £27,200 "

Ask the bank to send the statements to your home address then have someone scanned them for you and send them to you.

For employment it is gross before any deductions while self employed will be net profit after all expenses have been deducted.
