Hello House. Happy new year to all. Please I have started filling the online application for my wife but I want to ask before going further at what stage will I add my daughter's application to my wife's? Will I have to fill their applications separately or there is a way I can combine it as a family application? Also, if I have to fill the applications separately, then how will I indicate that the two are to be treated as one In uploading the supporting documents, am I going to upload all the documents twice; i.e. for my wife and my daughter at different times? And lastly please, in picking appointment date/time, will they be able to do their biometrics together? Kindly guide a novice here please. @justwise and other gurus I beg. |

Hello, Is it possible to apply for the spouse visa in UK, for example, go to the UK with a visiting visa and apply for the spouse visa while you’re there? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by mimilyrics: 9:02pm On Jan 05, 2021 |
No. You have to be on a visa that allows you to live and work in the UK, not as a visitor. abiiabby: |

If you declare everything, it is just hard to see how she will be granted VISA after such an offence. How can you also go about proving that your relationship to her is genuine. Wahala dey? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by MamaEEE: 7:52am On Jan 07, 2021 |
Aduke007: You can give it a try... Just b truthful and prove that your marriage is a genuine one. With a child involve now it's a plus... write a good cover letter explaining in details all that transpired... I know of a guy who had same issue he was granted the visa... 1 Like |

I need your guides please. We are applying for spouse visa with one dependent child. But while completing the FM child application form for our daughter online under the Finance section, it requested for my (applicant's) employment details instead of my husband's who is the sponsor. I need a guide please as I do not know if I made a mistake somewhere along the line. Note, the employment I have is outside the UK, which I do not think suffices for the purpose required and even at that, my annual salary is below the financial requirement threshold. Thank you. |

This is my story I married my spouse 2014,he based in uk,but because of d anxiety that I want to go nd meet my husband we made a wrong decision,I applied for visitor visa 2015 through an agent who told us he will provide all necessary documents because then my husband was not having a good job nd he just moved frm London to Manchester, not knowing dis guy used fake documents nd all,he even changed my spouse to another name nd provide another marriage certificate nd I was refused due to fake bank statements nd fake references, though I dnt knw why I was refused because he ran away with refusal letter,Nov last year I applied for spouse visa when my husband is financially ok nd we have all d evidence, and I was refused because I provided my marriage certificate of 2014 with my husband when I told them am still living with my previous husband in my previous application with marriage certificate,so they are convinced that my marriage with my real husband is not genuine,am confused on what to do because we want to appeal N.B———I can’t find d agent and I dnt knw what date he filled for my previous marriage certificate even if I want to apply for divorce paper Pls help me because am going through trauma already What can I do to correct my mistakes....thanks in advance.Below I included my reason of refusal

Aykomo02: It's quite sad... But the refuser was a fair one.... Appeal takes up to a year to get a hearing date... It il b better to go for an oral appeal that il cost u £140... But try and get a good barrister to represent you. U just have to come clean... In your cover letter (skeleton argument) for your bundle. spell it all out as you have done here... let them know an agent did help fill ur form .Then pray a kind judge will attend to you on ur hearing day... All the best |

Heavy! Using agents is dubious because if you have the right documents, you do not need an agent. You might use a lawyer but not an agent! |

Hello. Please I need clarification on spouse visa via a civil partnership. I'm in a civil partnership, hoping to apply for a spouse visa. However, I'll be getting married next year, wondering if I should go-ahead to apply for the visa as a civil partner or wait to get married. Some follow up questions if I apply as a civil partner: Would I need to change the visa when I get married? Would I need to inform immigration that I've moved from civil partnership to marriage? Will the 2.5years from the civil partnership spouse visa count towards the 5-year route? Is the civil partnership spouse visa literally the same as the marriage spouse visa? |

Good day all and happy new year. Please I need some clarification. My wife, a nurse relocated to UK following the route of Tier2 Skilled worker and her employer paid for all the traveling processes with a 3months accommodation. In her CoS, it was ticked by employer to certify Maintenance Now I am applying as a defendant, would I need proof of funds and also am I required to physically present the original copy of our marriage certificate? I am with the scanned copy and photocopy as she took the original along with her. Thanks |

Hello again. Please I need answers ooo. Good evening everyone and a happy new year. I once asked a question last year as regards making a Court Marriage Certificate in the absence of my husband who paid my bride price 2019and is in the UK. I was advised to wait and not try to try faking anything. All thanks to God, He came in October 2020 and we have done our Court wedding and traditional wedding proper. With all I have read here so far, i want to applaud you all. please I have a question. It will come with a little story, please pardon me. 1) My husband moved to UK 2019, and changed his place of work 2020. He resumed in the new place this january, Before he resumed, He reapplied for VISA November 2020 using his BRP as the new Hospital gave him a Certificate of Sponsorship . He is yet to get a decision. He booked my appointment having in mind that he will receive the BRP before my appointment, he had to query and he was told till 10 working days. He is yet to receive his BRP till now and I did my Biometrics today, Hope it wont affect the decision? |

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Pamelapencil(f): 6:27pm On Jan 22, 2021 |
Igengo: You can print the scanned one, and also have the photocopy handy, because you will need all documents to be in A4 . As regards financial proof. Hers should be used. |
