Globally, Apple sold 21% more iPhones last year than in 2019. And made over 17% more revenue.

Are you saying Apple has to count those that bought refurbished via Amazon or used ones via P2P for the data to be reliable?

Except you're running a survey where you need a subjective outcome, your data source should be as reliable as possible. And to be very fair, car registration is still the sanest way to measure car purchases. Another possibility is to ask the registrants to fill in the year they bought the car so that the data can be further segregated.

What are you talking about dude? Do you really know about data analysis?

They should go to Jiji and do what? When Nigeria was named as the 2nd in the world on Bitcoin transaction, it was based on exchanges, P2P wasn't measured. Why do you think they didn't go around on forums and Telegram looking for transaction data, because it's not scalable and it's prone to huge errors.

For car purchases, the cleanest form of data they can get is via car registration. Asking for people who bought via Jiji doesn't make any iota of sense. I don't know where you stay o but throughout my stay in Nigeria i don't think I don see reach 5 cars without plate numbers.

First na US stock, then na P2P.

I agree with all you have said. i concur

Eg Zenith bank.

How many Nigerians have N100,000 to N1 million which is the minimum amount required by most banks for Treasury Bill Investments?

You need just N5000 to buy mutual funds, yet just 450,000 Nigerians have mutual fund Investments.

I stand to be corrected less than 500,000 Nigerians buy Treasury Bills
please educate me on Treasury bills...I wat to invest

I am writing this with heavy hearts and tears in my eyes I will be 28 years old this year ending.

it's been a long time coming from 8 years of SERIOUS hustling (carrying blocks at building site). But by God's grace I have been able to save =N=2m without stealing or killing to make money.

I need advice on what type of INVESTMENT I should invest the money into.

NB: The underlisted are out of my scope
a. CryptoCurrency
b. Gambling/Betting of all sort
c. Network Marketing/ Referral business program
d. Agritech & affiliatiate marketing

Thank you for you anticipated responses.

there was a CBN directive that they should divest their investment arms or manage them under holding companies.

Treasury Bills is a secret, it is not marketed unlike mutual funds that are agressively marketed on the social media and the old school media. You need minimum of N5000 for most money market funds, minimum of N50,000 for must fixed income funds and minimum of $1000 for most Eurobond Funds, yet we have just 450,000 Nigerians who have Mutual Fund Investments.

About 80% of Treasury Bills investors on Nairaland also have money market funds. In fact that is where most of them diversify their Treasury Bill interests for compounding
Well done, sir. I'm a looking at investing in TB. Please, sir, what is the current interest rate?

Suffering will forever be a mindset.....That u carried block for 8 years and can boast of 2million in your account speaks a lot about you

My dear you don't need advice again, u r a MAN

What u must change is the mindset that a block carrier is a failure......

That a Block carrier located this thread speaks Volume

Why should you be having heavy heart for having that amount of savings with the type job you did to save such? There is dignity in labour. You should celebrate, encourage yourself and thank God for what you just did.

Yes there is always room for improvement but we can celebrate our little wins.

Since you have done this job for 8 years with that experience you can start the block business even if it's in a small scale.
Block business is always good in developing area on the outskirts of town. You can get even half a plot and install the block moulding machine on it. that means you have invested in the land and you also have an income generating venture from the block moulding machine. With time the land will appreciate.

While doing the business, instead of just saving in the bank you can start building up a a low risk mutual fund and after some time you can expand and diversify.

However, you must change your mind set to know that work or hustling legitimately is not suffering if you are getting results.
I wish you well in your endeavors

I think what you mentioned are the imported version. The 195 diseal generator to power it should be about 500k.The local fabricated should not cost more than 500k presently based on what the price was then I stayed in KD. Then it was less than 200k from a good welder with good finising double mould for 6 inches and single mould for 9 inches. The Yoruba guys could do wonderful finishing.Look for contact in the north axis if you consider block business for local machine.I believe with 1.5M you can start on low key plus space to use for it.And you can compliment the 5 and 4 inches with manual mould.Wishing you success
