Hello Gurus in the house, Please I have a question. I wanted to know which of the options you think will be more convincing to the V.O to show that I'll be coming back to Nigeria after school.

1. That I'll be coming back to continue working at my current place of work but in a managerial capacity. (Bearing in mind that I have only worked here for about 2 years and 8 months). I intend going with a Study leave letter.
Or

2. That I'll be coming back to take on managerial role in my family owned business, where I haven't worked at before( I intend taking CAC document that shows my parents and brother as directors, company statement of account and employment offer letter).

PS. Both companies are in the same Industry.

Thank you in advance.

Please go there quickly and sit with them. Let me tell you how I got mine.... I paid for processing and for weeks those exams and record people didn't do anything. I made calls, sent mails even spoke to a senior official to help. The official tried still nothing came out of it. So I went there, they didn't allow me in so I was just hanging around and praying that God should intervene. In summary, I met someone who knew someone that helped and the transcript was processed in a few days.

Please go there and try to speak with the person responsible for it

Hello friends, I'm new here.
Got Fall admission and graduate assistantship, with a full tuition waiver, living expenses, housing and flight.
My Nigerian Uni seems to be delaying the sending of my transcript to the US, and of course without it, they will not release the I-20. US school intends to email the I-20 so I'm sure to get it with 48 hours of transcript getting there. I need that I-20 like yesterday...
I can already see interview dates in Lagos showing January 2022 (too late), and Abuja showing July, still too late. I don't want emergency.
Please anyone with useful info here should help a brother- connect, advice, etc. Still pressing exams and records to do the needful though. I feel like I should travel down there and gatecrash them till they send it. I want it to leave this week.

I want to apply to schools in USA for undergraduate admissions, which exams am I supposed to write to get a fully funded scholarship to study computer science?

The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing (ACT) and the TOEFL. Most US schools waive the TOEFL for Nigerian students, but it isn't automatic, you have to ask them to.

You're asking the wrong question. The question is which of the 2 options is true? Once you figure that out, you should be good to go.

Let Me illustrate it for you. If your son's colleague and his teacher are to write recommendations for him, which one do you think will hold more water?
Try And get lecturers to do the needful. You Can even give the lecturer the draft of what you need from him or her

Congratulations. You must come back after 3years as you've stated ooooo grin grin grin.

Quick question please.
Is your husband a PhD student?
What's the month interval between when he left and when you applied for F2?

Hello
I am in a very similar situation. I currently study in France and will be completing my Msc in July. I had to choose coming back to Nigeria for my interview due to the US presidential proclamation (You can check that out here; https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/presidential-proclamation-coronavirus.html ) preventing people from certain countries to enter US. This has halted Visa processes too. It is recommended you spend 14 days in non-restricted countries before your appointment at the embassy. I am very sure SA is one and the only African country in the restricted list.

Thanks for the heads-up, mate.

Concerning this "It is recommended you spend 14 days in non-restricted countries before your appointment at the embassy", I will contact the U.S. embassy to confirm if they are receiving F-1 visa applications. If not, I have no choice but to travel to Nigeria to get it done.

Thanks once again, man.
