This is my first topic here on NL, so pls bear with me incase of typo errors. I'm a corp member current serving in Kogi state. Today my neighbour_a teacher in d school i'm serving, told me that i need to pray concern my life(aspirations), family & against disappointment & delay. She claim to have seen vision 3 days ago concerning myself & family, but was unable to share with me till today. She told me that in her dream, i was working on a land or farm but someone else was getting the benefit instead of me. That i should pray seriously against disappointment. Another concern my family, that she saw five foundation all made of clay (i belief each foundation represent a family member with potential to change my family story but couldn't because of the clay "weak" foundation). The last was about delay in doing or getting things done on appropriate time. Sumhow, any project we want to execute, is alway delayed in my family. I'm typing this while my eyes shade tears because finally God remembered me.

He then turn abusive, calling us foolish & gullible children. As if i'm not all enough to know that my family is have a problem something beyond the physical. To be sincere, it's been really long i attained a church service, because i got tired of praying without seeing result and, our situation never changes for the better, only for it to get worse. So i decide to do it my way and it resulted in me exchanging word with my dad last year, though we settle later after a month. My dad was a sunday school teacher when we where little.

The thing about what your neighbor said is only your neighbor knows the meaning and why she/he told you what he/she did since the dream/vision came from his/her mind.
If you take it as a sign from God, ok.

Was give political appointment both in state and local government level numerous time and even now. But, there is nothing to show for all that or be proud of, apart from myself and my sibling are all trained up to tertiary school level. My main reason of writting this is_why would my dad who pride himself as all-knowing, claim ignorant and dismissive when it comes to God's ability to reveal/liberate someone or give warming to christains(myself and family in this case) using pastors or ordinary people we know or not as fetish(he has demised a dream my elder sister had, after her everyday 12 midnite prayer last year as rubbish).

Your stupidity and gullibility is the problem of your family.


And to think your dad spent money to send you to the university.

Are you sure God uses pastors in the way you claim there or are you simply repeating the story told you by pastors and preachers about God?

You ask very valid questions but they are also very hard to answer.

As for prayer, there is no such thing as weak prayer... Jesus Christ never said anything about prayer being weak, so if you believe Jesus Christ, then you will believe that she is wrong about prayer.

The only way you can get answers to your many questions is if you go to God directly, and the only way to reach Him is by obeying His commandments which He have you through Jesus Christ.

Obedience is the key to reaching God, not prayer. And if you believe in Jesus Christ, what you can do to find out for yourself the truth, is to begin to accept and obey His teachings which you can read of in the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

If you begin reading the book of Matthew, for example, from chapter 1 to the end, you will find that Jesus Christ taught us many things and gave you commandments for us to obey. If you obey them as you read, believing God with all your mind, heart, body and soul, God will, Himself, begin to guide you, to His Truth.

So, why not begin now seeking God for your own self so that God can speak directly to you.

My dad has this girlfriend of his, a woman older than my mum, his claimed she was his first girlfriend when he was in his youth. She was unable to give birth, so he couldn't marry her(so i heard). When he retired, and was given his first appointment back home around 2006, he made her during that period and somehow "old flames was lit," my dad always have weakness when it comes to women issues. Which makes them fight often with my mum. But, this particular women own, its beyond the ordinary_is like she uses remote on him.

Somehow he seems compromise, and always hiding his wrong doing with "grace," he often said that going to heaven is by grace. whenever, we had an issue in my family of spouse unfaithfulness, he always support the cheating spouse.. That why i dont have faith in his word.

I swear !! very Annoying. You see I don't blame those who believe in Miracle when something Complicated Happen to them, I just simply assume their brain can't Critically Analyse the situation and come out with a logical Conclusion due to how extremely rare the situation can be But something as dumb as this, something really Small and usless like this is just a pain In the Ass to read.
