If dividend gives you 12% and the stock loses 11% till end of year. Your profit is 1%

Yes it can rise the next year but in the mean time you are also stuck with tied up cash undecided

Not true,

If you get a 12% dividend yield and the stock loses 11%.

Your dividend yield will increase.

Sir

Please shine ur light on international breweries

They just used the recently concluded rights issue to shave a hugh chunk off their debt

I was impressed by the fact that the majority holders still coughed out enough cash to offset debt and might have no plans of receiving dividend soonest

I have plans for it @ #2

Kai those in the bus already will wonder what you are saying.....I beg o. No give people high blood pressure

Its not automatic..
You wont get this benefit of increased Div Yield except you invest more to average down ...bringing your average entry price close to or equal to the prevailing stock price at 11% loss. And depending on how much 'under water' you are in terms of losses.... you may need a deep pocket to average down to the point of benefiting from this improved Div yield.

Reason why it is very good for investors to have a regular cash flow, on the long run Naira cost averaging is very good and profitable

Only few investors and insiders with cash flow understand this trick.

House, please what strategy would listed pet marketing companies play out going forward in view of the start of Dangote refinery.....

Mobil opted for delisting
Rak unity Pet is slowly winding down operations
Ardova is aggressively building filling stations
MRS............I don't know
Total...........,,,I seriously don't know

The quietness in this industry "MAKES ME FEEL" players are strategically positioning for the next big thing.......,... Though there is no anticipation from investors.....

I suspect silent mergers, acquisitions are going on

And when news hit the market, the keys to the doors will be firmly locked

Please do us good if u have info especially if u work around Tincan Apapa

They said the bonanza will be over two weeks ago and that we should start cherry picking Since then GTB has lost over 11% ,Isn’t that a huge loss for those who entered
Surulere Suru.... undecided
Please who are the they? Since you are an expert with market timing can you tell me when GTbank will come down to N22? Or When will Zenith touch N15? If you can solve this problem for me ,I will write you a blank cheque.

Walahi apart from the people keeping the thread alive and running positive commentary daily some of us are beginning to talk unnecessarily.I believe everyone should do their trading as they wish learning to take both loss and profit in good faith. We are all just taking calculated risks no one can accurately time this market in my view.

Why long bear at this period? Why didn't we get it since February that we've been waiting for it?

A post dated cheque is not a guarantee that there will be money in the account to pay investors on due date!

I'd suggest you run a background check on this Company in question... A company who has it's own Mortgage Bank, and even filling stations would do such?

Dear sir/ma,
A post dated cheque, coupled with a deed of agreement, leaves the company at risk of being sue to court in case of any hanky panky game, of which there has never been any record of such in our 5 years(still counting) of Operation. Kindly do your research.

Is not you people fault. Is the problem of the government not being pro active. All they need is to catch some and use them for example. When you beat sense into the guys behind this rubbish and throw them into jail without bail.So meany will not even think it again.

You really do not have to be mean. Honestly, it's not needed. Same Federal Government who pushed for Oxford Presence in Abuja ... Kindly do more background check Sir/Ma.

Oxford has people's best interest at heart. And the government you think ain't pro active enough knows that as well.

Just Last week, Oxford International Group Donated a TACOMA TRUCK TO GOWON ESTATE POLICE STATION...
