Personally, I don't think its a wise idea to use only your dad's axamansard savings account for your visa application.

Please for those interested in sending a mail as per my previous post kindly see the below information (I have received lots of mails so far and may not be able to reply to all)

Just search for constituency members of parliament in Canada, there are lots of them and their email addresses are available online. For me, I sent to the ones serving in my school district.

For the body of the message, it is simply a soft plea for them to assist in inquiring into your application's status and if possible expedite the final decision.

Hope this helps.

Ah! Me that have received response from my own requesting for further information about my application. I used Google immediately I saw your first message,

CONGRATULATIONS sleekcheek and thank you so much for this, more blessings. Please let's all try and use google sometimes for some information to avoid 'enlongating'(whatever that means undecided)the thread unnecessarily.

May it end in praise for us all in Jesus name, Amen!!!

Congratulations!.Just saw the narration on how you went about it. Thanks for the info

I took a piece of advice from here and sent a mail to a constituency member of the town where my school is located. I received a response from his office asking for details of my application and they assisted in making enquires to IRCC on my behalf. I got my PPR in less than 2 weeks after that. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I thought I should mention it.

Yes, I sent email to about 3 of them, but I've gotten response from one requesting for more information about my application, she also promised to help me make further enquiries. Information is power really.

SIWES is not a work experience, it's an industrial training, since you don't have a work experience (paid) related to what you studied & no Job experience in HR (at least 1 year & paid), your best shot is to apply for a PG. Cert program related to your Botany degree.

The program I would av suggested you go for is
PG. Cert, Sustainable Agriculture at Fleming College, Ontario,

You might want to build a career in AGRICULTURAL BOTANY and be an AGRICULTURAL BOTANIST by applying it to Agriculture.

As you know that

"An Agricultural botanist is someone who use the science of botany to help improve farming which brings about SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE"

Unfortunately, this program at Fleming College is a SEPTEMBER (FALL intake) program, it is not available for January (Winter intake) or Spring (May Intake).

You can await suggestions for Botany related programs that would be available for January 2022 from other members of this forum

Finally, you need to work on your Admission Preparation before you submit your Application owing to your 3rd Class degree,
the reason you need to do this is so you can boost your Admission chances despite having a 3rd Class.

To boost your admission chances, take your time and go through everything inside the link below

https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/467#100415766

Additionally, if possible do some short Botany & Agriculture free or paid courses and earn the certificate, upload the certificate as one of your SUPPORTING DOCUMENT for the admission when applying.

Thank you very much for taking your time to explain to me may God bless you abundantly. I will do as you have said.
What other schools do you suggest I check out? I don't mind the period the schools will start taking intakes. I've been checking online but I've not been able to see any I've just been seeing masters

Check out the course you are interested most likely Botany.. Yes Siwes is also a work experience.

so go to the schools portal and course and check if the program is open for January admission.

I've gone to a lot of school websites but I've not been able to get a specific one. Most of the program I saw were for masters. I don't know if you have one or two suggestions in mind concerning the schools I can apply to.

Hello Emma,

Got Admisson into Algonquin College for Fall 2021. You have to pay the initial deposit of $9700 as stated in your acceptance letter.

What course did you apply for? Most colleges in Ontario charge about $17k CAD upward for a one year program.

It will end in Praise

Hello Emmal,

My little input:

Algonquin College: You said you have 1 month notice to pay your school fees and you will like to know if you should pay for the visa application fee or first semester tuition first- kindly check the terms and conditions on your acceptance letter( possible if you don't pay a certain amount as deposit on a certain due date your admission will be withdrawn, check what's on your letter if it's not clear you can ask the school admission officer you are corresponding with also possible to apply for visa without making tuition payment all depends on the school terms and conditions, ask about their refund policy to enable make decisions that best suits you.

Hoping a candidate of Algonquin on this thread can help you with more information.

For cheaper colleges, you might have to let the thread know your intending course. So others might help, alternatively google can also help.

For question 4 : I don't have the link to help you with the necessary documents, sure others will help on this.

Processing visa time, it's only IRCC that determines that. If you intend to go September I believe it's best to put in your application soon.

YES, you can process your study visa yourself without an agent, by reading through previous thread as earlier mentioned, asking questions if you do not understand. Please feel free to ask questions, it is highly welcomed here. No question is too absurd if it is related to this thread i.e Canadian study visa.

Quarantine: don't overly think about this yet, possible there might be changes or new instructions as time goes on. After submitting your application, keep following the thread and IRCC for updates.

Please wait for other inputs. Shalom.
You can pay with form A.

Kindly generate payment on your flywire app. Print out the payment instruction and submit with you form A application form.

FLYWIRE rate na die my brother.

It will end in praise

Please for Algonquin College applicants/students, as an international student paying tuition fee through flywire portal, do they add additional charges or currency?

Because, $9,700CAD under IRCC exchange rate on google shows it is 2.9million naira while flywire portal shows it is 4m.

Please, does anyone has an idea of this why it is so, does the portal for paying our tuition fee normally adds charges or whatever...

Mind you, flywire is a site for international students to pay tuition fee.
You can still go ahead and contact them, you never can tell. I read terrible reviews about parl members of my area, yet I still went ahead to send them mail, wetin concern me undecided. Mine is London Ontario and I sent to parl members of London-Fanshawe, London West and one other. Got reply from London-west for more information.

Unfortunately, they just replied that they thought am within their own area(which am not), hence they may not be able to do much at the moment. Meanwhile am still hoping to hear from the member that covers my area(London-Fanshawe)

It shall end in praise for us all.
