Kingdomtruth:There are about 7 Covenants in the Bible and God was clear in defining who and what was covered under each of them. And according to the Bible, God never included you and your kind in His Old Covenant Law of Moses, since you are not of the Blood of Israel, nor do you live in the Kingdom of Canaan. So, why do you follow a Law which God Himself declares you were never a part of, and so have no share in? Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God is the Covenant which God made with all nations, and again, according to Jesus Christ, His Contract/Covenant offers you a yoke that is easy and a burden that is light. The Old Covenant Law of Moses in the Land of Canaan consisted of 613 commandments/statutes, about 20 blessings, 30 curses, 1 seal(circumcision of males), about 5 mandatory rituals/holidays to observe, 1 promises(life forever in the land of Canaan) only open to those descended from the Bloodline of Jacob(and the foreigners who live among them in the land of Canaan). The New Covenant, however, offers you only about 55 commandments/statutes, about 10 blessings, over 20 curses, 2 Seals(The Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of God), 1 ritual(Last supper), 3 promises(eternal life- also referred to by John the apostle as grace, Jesus Christ as your one and only guide/Teacher/Shepherd/Master, and eternity in either of Heaven or Hell depending on your choices), and is open to anyone who wants to sign up. The details of this covenant/contract are found embedded in the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ as He is the embodiment of the Covenant/Covenant agreement that God has promised. |

Kingdomtruth: Not "Strong willed" but exactly as Written "I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. But, I also respectfully cease contention! |

Do you mean the Ten Commandments? Why don't you want to use the Ten Commandments? Kingdomtruth: You mentioned Mount Sinai earlier. How many Laws did YHVH ALMIGHTY write on two stone tablets and give to Moshe/Mosha/Moses on Mount Sinai? Most of the 613 laws, commandments, statutes and decrees are no longer necessary today. Some of those Laws ended with the coming of Yahushua the Messiah and the subsequent destruction of the temple. The sacrificial and burnt offering laws equally ended with the coming of the Messiah and the subsequent destruction of the temple. The Levitical Law and the tithe Laws associated with it, also ended with the coming of the Messiah. The Ten Commandments, which constitute the moral laws, written by the finger of YHVH ALMIGHTY himself on two stone tablets and given to Mosha remain for ever. It would seem you have said something, but the opposite is the case. You only ended up dancing around what was asked of you. This is what happens when people just lift the words of the Scripture and jumble them up without actually understanding what they are trying to relate. In the same breath you said the Law ended immediately it revealed what sin was and that it had been put in our hearts? Which is it? Kingdomtruth: Again, to the unwary, it would seem you have said something Scriptural, with the dribbling and dancing to and fro, but the opposite is the case. So sin evolves, huh? You need to state plainly and unequivocally what you mean by this assertion: Kingdomtruth: Throw more light on this: Kingdomtruth: Expatiate on this assertion: Kingdomtruth: Explain this assertion a little more: Kingdomtruth: You failed to give the Scriptural definition of sin. Sin has been defined in the Scripture. Are you saying that sin is not an activity? Are you saying that an act which is sin today may not be sin tomorrow? Kingdomtruth: Actually, I understood you clearly. I grasped the message, albeit sublte, you are trying to disseminate with this your line of reasoning. Kingdomtruth, define sin. What is sin, kingdomtruth? Freed from the Law? Again, you mean the Ten Commandments, right? Kingdomtruth: What did the written document say? And how does what it says different from what is written in your heart? What is written in your heart? What did the written document intend to achieve? What is the intention of what is written in your heart? In other words, the thing written in your heart, what does it want to achieve? How can you be freed from the Law and still have the Law in your heart? What are the "old ways of the written Law"? Kingdomtruth: Actually, you didn't explain anything. On one hand, you said that you were freed from the Law. On the other hand, you said you had the law in your heart. How could you be freed from the Law and still have it in your heart? Kingdomtruth, I don't want to start copying everything all over again. Answer the questions that I asked you here. |

elated177: Bro, I'd just advise that you try to be more flexible please in life. Do not always be 'strong willed' on the things that you do not properly understand. No one knows everything. Even the ones we think we know, sometime turns out to be that we don't really know much about them. Being very fixated or mechanical sometimes on things we think we know, prove to be very injurious in the long run. I do not try to prove that I know better either. But do understand that people have different GRACES, so becoming flexible is actual for our own good as that would help us to tap from the different GRACES that abound around us...You always talk about jumbling of words that one does not understand. How about if you make research on those things you feel are NEW to you, that you tagged 'JUMBLING OF WORDS'. Afterall, isn't that the NEW LIFE we've been called, to be conformed with in the image and likeness of Christ? Lastly, if the APOSTLES and the PROPHETS who received various SPIRITUAL revelations of the word of God by GRACE, had decided to put it down just the way they received it without further explanation, do you think you would read the scripture and understand a LICK of it? I advise that you be more flexible to information, however, if you are so sure that what you BELIEVE in is the GOSPEL TRUTH, then stand by it brother; as it is the only thing that will set you FREE...John 8:32...Please do well to check my profile and see most of my write-ups' there. They directly answer most of the issues you've raised up there especially about sin... Stay well bro and God bless you. |

Kingdomtruth: Instead of you to answer the questions asked, you resorted to meaningless rants. As far as the Moral Laws of YHVH ALMIGHTY are concerned, there is no flexibility. Kingdomtruth: Forget that line of reasoning. The Scriptures have been given and sealed. There is nothing more to add and nothing to remove. The saints, servants and messengers of Yahushua the Messiah should pray for, as far as the Scriptures are concerned, the Power to understand what the Father in heaven wants to relate to us through them. After that, the Power to obey what has been instructed. Whatever explanation anyone brings that is not in line with the basic intention of the Scriptures, must be jettisoned. Do well to answer the questions asked of you. Isaiah 8:19 When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? 20 Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. |

elated177: Hi bro, first off, it's funny you think that all the things I wrote up there are mere jumbling of words. If you were 'well read' and deep in the scripture by the GRACE of God, you would've known that all the things I wrote up there are not my words nor philosophy of mine, but scriptural with more explanation; at least to those that may not understand the scripture directly. Because I reckoned that: not everyone can understand the scripture without that veil of sin lifted off there eyes. Do well to answer the questions asked of you. I will only answer these questions again for the last time. You asked two(2) main questions in your previous comment. They are: 1) The biblical definition of sin. 2)How can one forget the written LAW and then have it in his heart again? I deliberately ignore them all, because I've already answered them for the umpteenth time. Both in the body of this post and in my comments as well. However, for the last time, this is what I mean: 1) The biblical definition of sin. I told you that: SIN, is not a particular activity or group of activities alone. I also said: it is a way of life(a lifestyle). Meaning, you cannot tie it to a particular activity(ies) as it changes over time. And I gave you an example that: there are things that constitute sin today, that were never known as SINS say, 10-20 years ago. In the same way, there are things/activities that shall become sin 10-20 years from now that you and I are yet to know. Just as I cannot predict your next line of actions, so also you cannot predict the producer of such SINS which is the devil. I told you also that: in summary, you can define sin as the lifestyle of the enemy(devil). I WOULD LIKE YOU TO SEE THIS TO BUTTRESS MY POINT. See that, even the scripture has not exhausted the definition of sin...Let's go to Galatians 5:19-21. It says and I quote: I'm using good news translation.: "what the HUMAN NATURE(FLESH/SIN)does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions;20, in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; 21, they are envious , get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the kingdom of God. That is it bro. I hope you now have what you've been crying for. But, I want to draw your attention to verse 21, the last sentence after the conjunction AND says:...... AND DO OTHER THINGS LIKE THESE. I hope you can see what the scripture is telling you there. It means just like I said above, that the list is endless and you can't tie the activity of the FLESH to a particular activity(ies) as it changes from time to time far into the future. I JUST HOPE YOU NOW UNDERSTAND ME HERE! 2)How can one forget the written LAW and then have it in his heart again? Don't forget to understand that the HOLY SPIRIT is everything we need to live in RIGHTEOUSNESS the way God wants us to. Back there in the body of this post, I said that: Though the LAW is HOLY because the GLORY of God descended on it and made it HOLY, but that's not the case with us . Because we were controlled and ruled by FLESH(SIN) before Christ came with the SPIRIT. Meaning, we were all sinners and lacked the power to obey the LAW no matter how hard we tried. WHY?, because the FLESH(SIN) that was ruling us, wouldn't allow us to obey the LAW since the LAW was HOLY but as flesh and blood we were not HOLY before Christ came...And you know that you can't have SIN and HOLINESS in the same sentence except for the purpose of emphasis...That was why the LAW was brought to and END since it lacked the power to help us obey it, that was why it came to an END so that we can have the HOLY SPIRIT ENGRAVED in our hearts through our union with Christ Jesus. With the HOLY SPIRIT however, we now possess the POWER to satisfy the righteous/ holy demands of the ever changing LAW of God due to the changing nature of the FLESH. That's why the scripture says in Romans,: that we no longer live according to the old ways of the WRITTEN LAW, but in the NEW ways of the SPIRIT...I ALSO HOPE YOU CATCH THE POINT HERE...Thanks brodaman |

Kingdomtruth: Before I get to the current issues raised, let me bring your attention to these other questions. You, kingdomtruth, said: Kingdomtruth: And I, elated177, asked: What did the written document say? And how does what it says different from what is written in your heart? What is written in your heart? What did the written document intend to achieve? What is the intention of what is written in your heart? In other words, the thing written in your heart, what does it want to achieve? How can you be freed from the Law and still have the Law in your heart? What are the "old ways of the written Law"? You, kingdomtruth, said: Kingdomtruth: And I asked you to throw more light on that assertion. How does sin evolve? There is a a dangerous subtle message you are trying to pass here. Only the Spirt-led individual, like me, will decipher it. Isaiah 8:19-20 comes to mind. Kingdomtruth: How does the Holy Spirit change? What was sin before the Christ came? What is sin today, after the first coming of the Messiah? Kingdomtruth: You have said that the Holy Spirit changes as sin changes. How does the Holy Spirit change? Give some examples, whether Scriptural or otherwise. How does the Holy Spirit oppose the written Law? Give some ways in which the Holy Spirit opposed/opposes the written Law. I want you to state unequivocally here, if by the written Law, you also mean the Ten Commandments. If you mean the Ten Commandments as well, mention what the Holy Spirit has told you or is telling you today about sin that the Ten Commandments did not say about sin yesterday. What were the old ways of the written laws? Mention some the written laws you have been going on and on about. What is the Scriptural definition of sin, kingdomtruth? The Scriptures defined sin, didn't they? How could one be FREED from the Law and still have the Law written his/ her heart? Kingdomtruth: What is the work of the Holy Spirit? What is righteousness? It will take only the saint, servant or messenger of Yahushua the Messiah like me, Elated177, who is filled with the Set-apart Spirit of Yahushua the Messiah, the Spirit of Truth, with the Sword of the Spirit of YHVH ALMIGHTY in my hand and in my mouth, my shield of faith in place, my breastplate of righteousness, my belt of truth, my helmet of salvation and my ever- ready boot of evangelism, to decipher the errors that your message is trying to disseminate. |

Re: The Purpose Of The Law And God's Promise by elated177: 6:37pm On Apr 08, 2021 |
Kingdomtruth: Actually, I understood your intentions the moment I read only a few lines of your OP. I only decided to question you for the benefit of the genuine seekers. What is Grace according to the Scriptures? What is faith according to the Scripture? I had to capitalize the word "freed" for emphasis. It was you who changed it to "forget." Even though I never typed "forget." Maybe you should go back to the beginning of our discourse. You said that you were freed from the Law and that it had been written in you heart. Then I asked how you could be freed from the Law and still had it in your heart. So, kingdomtruth, unless you want to retract that statement, by removing the word "freed", do answer the question. You pitted the Commandments against the Set-apart Spirit even though the Scriptures never did that. The portion that you quoted from the book of Galatians never did. It only taught us about the sinful nature, which it referred to as flesh, and its desires and the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit. You are not going to deter me with that pattern of posting. What is life in Christ? What does it mean to live in or have life in Christ? You refused to give the Scriptural definition of sin. Here it is: 1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. So the Messiah never came to take away the Law. He came to take away our lawlessness. He gives us his Spirit to enable us abstain from lawlessness by obeying his Laws. 1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Yahushua did. How did Yahushua the Messiah walk? Read: John 15: 9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. The only way by which anyone can remain in the Messiah's love is by obeying his Commandments? What are his Commandments? Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. The great and awesome Ten Commandments of the one and only true God, YHVH ALMIGHTY, which he spoke with his very own voice and wrote with his very own finger on two stone tablets, may be counted together with the other laws when counting all the laws, commands, decrees and statutes given to the Israelites, however, they are separate. The other laws, commands, decrees and statutes he told Moshe/Mosha/Moses to teach them. Deut 5:6 “I am YHVH your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 7 “You shall have no other gods before me. 8 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, YHVH your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. 11 “You shall not misuse the name of YHVH your God, for YHVH will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. 12 “Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as YHVH your God has commanded you. 13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14 but the seventh day is a sabbath to YHVH your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that YHVH your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore YHVH your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. 16 “Honor your father and your mother, as YHVH your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land YHVH your God is giving you. 17 “You shall not murder. 18 “You shall not commit adultery. 19 “You shall not steal. 20 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. 21 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Deuteronomy 5:22 These are the commandments YHVH proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me. The Israelites heard his voice when he gave the Ten Commandments: Deut 5:23 When you heard the voice out of the darkness, while the mountain was ablaze with fire, all the leaders of your tribes and your elders came to me. Deut 10:YHVH wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And YHVH gave them to me. After the Ten Commandments, the Israelites went back to their tents and YHVH Almighty gave Moshe the other commands, decrees and laws and instructed him to teach them. Deut 5:30 “Go, tell them to return to their tents. 31 But you stay here with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and laws you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess.” Most of those Laws, decrees and commands were only meant to be kept in the land of Israel at that time. Some of those decrees, laws, commands and statutes, such as the Levitical Law and the law of tithe associated with it, the sacrificial law and burnt offering laws ended with the coming of Yahushua the Messiah and the subsequent destruction of the Temple. As for the Ten Commandments, which Yahushua the Messiah embodies, they are for ever. Revelation 11:19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm. Deut 10:At that time YHVH said to me, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones and come up to me on the mountain. Also make a wooden ark. 2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Then you are to put them in the ark.” 3 So I made the ark out of acacia wood and chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hands. 4 YHVH wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And YHVH gave them to me. 5 Then I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made, as YHVH commanded me, and they are there now. The Ten Commandments of YHVH Almighty are so important to him that he proclaimed them in a loud voice out of deep darkness to the Israelites. So, I feel sorry for the people who say that his great and awesome Ten Commandments, which his begotten Son, Yahushua the Messiah, embodies today and which his Power - his Spirit - enables us to obey, are no longer necessary. Did the Law lack power or was it the people that lacked the power to keep the Law? If the Law lacked power, why were those who disobeyed it, before the coming of the Messiah, condemned? The Law in your heart, is it not also written? The books of Romans and Galatians are not easy to understand. Just like our brother, apostle Peter said, many twist them to their own destruction. The blood of animals was meant to cleanse the people and grant them righteousness, albeit momentarily. However, it could not. The blood of Yahushua the Messiah, with infinite Power cleanses us once for all, justifies and certifies those who continue in his Path of Righteousness, righteous for ever. The Laws in our hearts are they not written? Do you think anyone can stay away from sexual immorality - adultery, fornication, masturbation, homosexuality, etc, stealing, lying, cheating, killing, idolatry, etc, by his or her power or strength? Ehehehehe! The old ways of expiation of sin - blood sacrifices, burnt offerings, etc, are gone and have been replaced by the blood of the Messiah which he gave once for all. The FATHER, YHVH ALMIGHTY, has sealed his Scriptures. Jeremiah 6:16 This is what YHVH says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Hebrews 1:In the past YHVH spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. Kingdomtruth, what does the law, which you say has been written in you heart, say differently from what the "written one" - which you say you have been freed from - says? EL Elohe Yahshrael! Hallelu Yah! |
