For my Honda Civic .. I wouldn't buy anything above 180k miles .....

For cars that I want to sell to the public it varies... I realized that many Nigerian car buyers can't afford low miles cars ...

And even if you tell them the cars are accident free and low miles .. They will still be pricing it rubbish. ......

Why not.

If the car is yours and it is what you have at the moment, there is hardly a car one can't use. It is your car, you will know how to handle it better.

The car looks compact like one that can have a good fuel economy.

I just hope you have Peugeot mechanics handy.
Thanks babami

180k miles is low mileage? I got mine above 120k (i think around 130 or 140k miles) and I always tell myself it was too high that's why I asked so I'll know what to look for next time

Good afternoon everyone, so it appears I got scammed in my quest to get a vehicle to run this hustle. So I saw this number online +2348059443536 saying they're into vehicle rentals for uber/bolt. I called to confirm, he said vehicle is available I should go to their office at Suite 41, Office complex, opposite forte oil. Oba igunji road, Ogba and he sent me his boy's number ADETUWOJU STEPHEN AKINTOMIWA.
I was told I'd present my drivers license, lasdri and application fee of 2k, which I accepted. I don't have LASDRI but I had to pay 3k to do it since he said the vehicle was sure.
He inspected my documents collected 2k and gave me application form and guarantor form to submit later. I asked how long the whole process was going to take, he said with the background check, it should take a week. After a week, I asked what's up he said he's done his part and submitted to the management, they'll get back to me, 2 weeks gone, I contacted my guarantors if they were called by these guys, got a negative feedback.
I called the Steven guy again, he said there's nothing he could do, document is now with the management. Then I called his boss to ask for update, I told him what happened, he said he'd get back to me. I called on Monday, he said they'll send me an email, nothing was sent, I called again today he said they just sent an email this morning. I searched all my emails spam, inbox, draft nothing was there. I called the boss again to even ask for the content of the mail, he blocked my line. This is the Stephens number +234 818 941 1876. His picture is attached as well. Don't fall victim too.

Corporate robbery. A lot of people do this in Lagos. They will open office, put table and seat and be collecting money from job seekers.

I fell victim to this in 2011.

You don't need to pay a dime to your potential employer. I mean, they should be the one to pay you instead.

Instead of calling, why not visit the office where you paid the money?

A car that is over 10 years .. How much miles do u expect the car to have ? Keep in mind average mile a person puts on a car in the USA is about 15k miles a year .... You have to put that into consideration ......

My currant 2003 Honda Civic I bought recently has 175k miles on it .. That is not bad for an 18 yr old car . it is more than likely the car was driven by an old woman .......

And this is why encourage car owners to use proper engine oil .. At that high miles is when cars will start having issues

Where do you people do this copy & paste from?
Remittance without story as if there won't be car issues.
Why not state how you will keep the car in good condition, obey traffic rules & not drive the car to extremely bad areas like Akute?

That is how someone here got me connect him with a 2004 Toyota Camry partner on my street. He paid the first week but gave diverse stories of how car gave him issues. For two weeks, he didn't deliver a dime.
Oya, bring the car, let the mechanic have a look, he didn't show up.
The man told me, i will be held responsible if he loses his car to this greedy person. I had to use someone who lives around his area to track him down. When i got hold of him, he pleaded that he was in neck deep debt and had to use that excuse to avoid two weeks rental.
Within 3weeks, this brother had bashed this car so bad that a learner won't be that reckless, broke one front headlamp, the passenger seat was stained with black oil and drove the entire time on bent rim.
After so much confrontation, he started mouthing off, using profane words on us, even had the guts to ask me; what have i done that someone else hasn't done?
I was enraged to the point of pressing charges against him but the owner said he want no trouble. We took the car and went home.

*2021 ACCESS BANK SPONSORED LAGOS CITY MARATHON*

Dear Colleagues,
We have received information that the 2021 Access Bank sponsored Lagos City Marathon will hold on Saturday April 10, 2021 and it will impact traffic in many parts of Lagos. The marathon is estimated to last for about 12 hours and some roads would be closed as early as 5.30am

*THE FOLLOWING ROADS WILL BE TOTALLY OR PARTIALLY CLOSED*

a) Total closure of Third Mainland Bridge from 7.15 am to 2pm

b) Alaka Road Service lane will be closed from 5.45 am to 7.30 am

c) National Stadium to Ojuelegba, Dormanlong Bridge, Onipanu, Obanikoro, and Anthony will be closed from 6.45am to 9 am

d) From Anthony to Charly Boy Bus Stop to Oworonsoki will be closed from 7.15 am to 9 am
e) From Adekunle Junction linking the Third Mainland Bridge will be closed from 7.30 am to 2pm.

Although, there will be traffic personnel on hand to manage traffic and diversions, the impact will be significant for motorists. We have attached the route map for your information and guidance.

Find below *ALTERNATIVE ROUTES* that will ease the movement of Lagosian who might not be watching the marathon live television because they have urgent personal business to attend to and thousands who would want to join us at the finish where the best of Nigerian musicians and entertainers will be performing.
• All vehicles from Ikeja and environs headed to Victoria Island MUST go through Ikorodu Road
• All vehicles from Badagry, Mile 2, and environs going to Victoria Island MUST go through Apapa and Orile to link the Eko Bridge to Victoria Island
• Residents of Lagos Mainland, Surulere and environs MUST avoid Masha Area and the National Stadium but can link Victoria Island through Iponri/Iganmu, Eko Bridge then on to Victoria Island

• Vehicles coming from Ibadan, Mowe and environs can link Victoria Island through Ojota, Ikorodu Road, Eko Bridge to Victoria Island.
• Vehicles from Okota MUST go through Mile 2 to Orile , Eko Bridge to Victoria Island
• From Sango-Otta going to Victoria Island MUST go through Mushin, Funso Williams Avenue (Western Avenue), Eko Bridge to Victoria Island
• Vehicles coming from Epe, Ajah, Lekki and environs must use the Alternative Route to Victoria Island
• Ikoyi residents going to the Mainland can use the Alfred Rewane (Kingsway Road) link to Osborne then to the Mainland

We advise those who may have need to go out during the duration of the marathon to avoid the impacted route and to cooperate with security personnel assigned to manage traffic.

Hello house,

Still on the matter o, guy no gree pick my call

Somebody don nak me akpako.

Gave this guy and his girlfriend a ride from dominos pizza ajah to oakland estate songotedo on Saturday, trip was on surge with traffic at abraham adesanya and ended 2100. Got to destination and guy tried to do transfer but said the thing keeps bouncing back. The girlfriend asked to try which she claimed it has gone but I didn't get it so I decided to let them go after some minutes thinking it's the network issue.

I received other transfers after that time so I called him to let him know I didn't get his transfer, since Saturday till now guy has refused to pay me or answer my calls again.

I waited for sometime just to give him the benefit of doubt but it seems that benefit is overdue.

Abeg make una help me bless the pizza he ate.

Contact is 09032650619

Update...

Reported the issue to bolt and they promised to sanction him.

Called the guy same week he refused to respond and l left him. Two days ago I called with my other number and he picked and promised to pay the following day but didn't.

Fast forward, I called today and fortunately his girlfriend answered the call that the stepped out so I narrated everything to her which is was already aware, immediately she made the transfer and I asked to confirm and revert.

I logged in to my mobile app and confirmed. Immediately this guy that has not been responding to my calls called me that shey I have gotten my money that I should unblock him as he cannot request any ride. I asked him if he deliberately didn't want to pay me and he said yes.

I need your advise, should I tell bolt to unblock him now or wait till the same time he took to pay me.

Thanks to NIN SIM linkage. No more buying of 200 Naira sim to register a new account.

Shey na d gf pay the money? Meaning no evidence of payment from his name right? If thats the case then don't mail bolt to unblock him let him suffer for 600yrs for his wicked and evil intention.

If this was a court case he will still be sentence to jail for his intention despite relatives paying for him.

So leave him to suffer and save other drivers from evil people like him because unblocking his account means releasing a criminal back into the society.

He even admitted to his crime without any form of remorse.

Devil will punish him for trying to scam an innocent hard working man and God will bless that his gf and also save her from such an evil bf with evil intentions.

Pope191 over, get the oven's contact and make sure you convert her and get her out of that stupid guy call bf.grin
