Good Road network and good roads are what we r talking about here... The truth be told Lagos State in general is lagging behind when it comes to road infrastructures when compared with other states across the Federation despite the fact it's a former State capital.

Though they're improving but the speed at which the LAGSG is moving with road rehabilitation and road construction is very low compare to states like Akwa'Ibom, Rivers or say even Edo or Koji State these states I just mention are massive states in terms of landmass and with far far lesser amount on IGR yet they're fast developing in infrastructure than Lagos itself.

Which State can be compared with Ogun state self? I can't even say because Ogun is so lagging behind despite their massive level of industrialization yet they have the worse roads in the whole of Nigeria. If you say I lie please mention a State let's compare

Period.
Number 1: Don't compare anywhere with Lagos, Apart from Abuja most states are just developed in the capital. The number of developed roads in a whole state is like one local government in Lagos. Lagos is far far ahead of all other states except FCT.

Number 2: Ogun state is not an exception, if u go to Abeokuta u will be surprised there are a lot of good roads, Ota, Akute, Mowe, Sagamu, Ijebuode are fringes of Ogun state u can't use d state of roads in these areas to judge Ogun state.

Number 3: Kogi state has just 4roads...(apologies to people from that state) how can u be talking of road development and u mention Kogi state worst of all comparing it with Lagos...

Abi highway driving is deceiving u. Tell me how many states still have tarred roads when u drive off the express, in areas thats not the state capital

Inform Bolt he told u he wasn't going to pay, u were lucky his friend picked one of ur numerous calls and after u narrated the situation she decided to send the money to u. Emphasise that he is a fraudulent person and shouldn't be allowed in Bolt's community. Am sure they also tried to reach him. If they like let them unblock him but u would have done the right thing by informing them...should he inform them before u and u conform it when they ask u, the table would have turned.
Good way to go but left for me it's an eye for an eye I won't even agree in the first place I recieved any money in proxy weather na him and surname show in my account statement. Besides Bolt doesn't have the right to show prove of payment by providing my account statement so no need informing bolt about anything. The guy is a scammer so he should remain blocked if he wants to be unblocked then he(the rider) should write bolt and present his proof of payment to the driver then bolt.

If I were the driver in question and Bolt contacts me stating I'd been paid then I will tell them that was a different transaction other than that after all there's no relationship with date, time, name or anything.

The rider has no case here, if Bolt wants to Unblock him maybe due to his volume of trade with them then it's up to them simple.

Pearl1910:
Yimu...u want me to mention center of town that is worse than Akute?
The whole of Okota and Ago Palace road area...only 4or 5 streets are tarred. Mafoluku nko, Ejigbo, Oworo, Bariga (Illaje side), Surulere (Ijesha side), Illasa, etc

Its Ambode that helped the ministry of Abulegba, meiran axis if not all those places na village 5yrs ago

My brother let's leave sentiment aside, you can't compare any road in Ogun state to lagos state at all... Even Ijegun-Ikotun roads dey learn for where Akute-Lambe roads them dey.

If you think I'm exaggerating just take a trip to there and see weather you will not spend 20-30k the next day on yiur car.
Baba...sentiments aside...bad road is bad road Akute is bad, Lambe is no go area. But there are many roads in Lagos that are worse than Akute. I have mentioned them already, Have u gone inside inside satellite town, inside Alaba, Iyana Iba Igando, Ejigbo, Ijegun, Ijagemo, Illasamaja, Oworo inside, Aboru, Ilepo, Inside streets of Alagbado, Meiran, Agbado-Ijaye, Ajegunle, sangotedo and beyond, and many other places...if not for community effort Aja, axis na apology
U will praise Akute road after visiting some of these places.

First how many states have you visited and stayed in the last 2-3years?

So far so good I've not only travelled to all the SE, SS, SW and NC states but I've also lived or stayed or worked in some of these states and cities inside them.

If I've to start with the very list you mentioned, kogi State, have you been Basha before, Ajaokuta, Okene, Agbaja or Ayeingba b4? The road from Okene all the way down to Ayeingba is about 200km and these roads are very good road both within the State and federal roads.

Ok, lets come to Is in State, Ado Ekiti, Ondo and say Ibadan... Most of their states roads are very good and motorable yes they ve road that are not tarred but the truth is you can still navigate your way through conveniently even in raining seasons. I know you would want to say their topology is helping them but the trurh is their roads are far better off when compared to some roads in Ogun State and lagos State even.

Have you ply the Ondo Airport road- Benin road before? That road is far better than your Lagos for-expr way or Sango- seme boarder road.

Coming to the SS region the least State I'll say is backward in terms of road infracture is hmm... Let me say Bayelsa state, despite having a blue print the finishing is 100x better than Paris yet they still have good designs work though left undone.

Don't ever say it anywhere that lagos has good road than Delta State or Rivers State ooh... Dem go laugh tire ooh... You din reach Ondoni b4? Ohio-Apko, Eleme, Onne all these places and more in Rivers State b4? Most of these streets are well interlocked with different colors with street lights.

Talk about Delta, let's leave Asaba out since you say its the capital, have you been to Abraka b4, Ogume, Ole, Aviara, Ugheli, Ude, Sapele, Ozoro, Owolopko or Agbor and it's environs b4? You will do 100k/hr in all of these roads without any bumb... Doubt me? Take a tour there and see for yourself.

Time will fail me to talk abiut the estern part of Nigeria and places like Ikotopkene, Abak, Ikonabasi, Aka, shay na Eket? All these places in Akwa Ibom State... Guy you car will last a 100 yrs with changing a shock.

So I wonder which road we have in Lagos State that youre making boast of to an extent of ranking Lagos after FCT.

Guy take time ooh

Point of correction Gov. Ambode didn't do a single road in Abule Egba apart from the Abule Egba bridge, it was Gov. Fashola that tarred most of the roads in AE and most of those road Dash did got spoilt during the construction of the AE bridge due to traffic diversion during that time so he promised to go all the roads in his 2nd term only for him not to be given the ticket.

That notwithstanding, the guy finish work in Meiran, Amadiyah, Aboru or what is it called like you are connecting Ipaja through Ekero Road, Alakuko that's AIT axis and places in Ojokoro axis.

@peep4u Meiran is very big in fact bigger than AE self this present Gov is doing well to fi ish works left by his predecessor though a lot is yet to be done because lot of their inner roads rider go to are terribly bad... During this raining season make sure you agree with any rider that you won't enter any road that is not tarred if not you'll regret your lifegrin

U know I don't argue without facts... Lagos state is only second to Abuja with the most km of paved roads...don't allow perception to deceive u, Lagos might be small but has enough road network in one local government than most entire states.
Kogi has only 4roads, stop mentioning Kogi, d thing they pain me. And those roads are federal roads

Secondly, I be barrack boy o...I have lived in Kaduna, Jos, Ondo, IB, Calabar, Aks, PH,...u can name the roads in these states, but can u name all d roads in Lagos? Akwa Ibom state try, I give it to them.

Point of correction my dear friend road network has nothing to do with good road rather its how well the road connects.

Portcharcourt has one of the poorest road networks among all the states I've visited, just imagine the East-West Road which stretches all the way from Say Ugheli to Elena and down to Onne and thereafter to Ikonabasi has just 2, 3 & 4 link roads to Aba Road which are the
1. choba- Uzioba roads,
2. Rumokoro- Rumokuta rd
3. Eliozu- Air Force rd
And the 2/3 artillery link rd.

This same road coming in from Delta/Balyelsa inward Ph-Int'L Airport or Owerri once you miss the Ahoda junction link road forget it it's either you drive down to choba/Uniport or you go through the interchange after Rumosi after Wazobia FM or through Rumokoro which is a long journey to Owerri or the Airport.

Same thing with the Ph-Aba road... If traffic meet you for that road forget it 3-4hrs sure for u die no other link road to take you to Aba unless via that road.

The Komukuta-Ozioba- Owipa road road is another annoying road to ply, not link into villages like Ogbagri, Mile3( UST) or maybe Ahoda you've to go down to either choba or down to the Very end to access these places.... Very annoying.

Lagos has good and excellent road network especially Agege only that their road in that LGA are very bad.

Another state with good road network is Owerri, Delta State, Beni. And a Ibom, Ibadan, Or in too try...

By only problem with A'Ibom and Benin is that all their major road is being centralized to Plaza and Rig road respectively so if you're going to the tail end and traffic meet you just come down from either the keke or bus and start trekking but if your on a private car you can maneuver you way through the alternative route to your destination without encountering any traffic at all.

Abak rd, Ekotopkene rd, Aba rd, Airport rd, Orion rd, Waniba rd(the federal Uni new sight is situated) all of these rds links to Plaza.

Sane way in Benin:

Mission rd, warri-Sapele rd, ekewhan rd, Epkema rd, etc all link to the ring roundabout (biggest round about in african if I'm not mistaken).

Tbh, roads in Lagos r not that encouraging given the big brother status of the city.

Even on the island. Check out Oniru road, as symbolic as the Oniru axis is, to the identity of the eko people, for many years it was an eyesore.

Last year, it was Access bank through their CSR initiative that facilitated the construction of those concrete roads around 4points....

Me self channelling my time now to cryptocurrency trading tutorials...

Modify: with the level of Nigerian external debt (16trillion) I'm afraid the naira will go as high as N1k/1$ before the year ends, reason I've chosen to save and learn the trading skills thereafter.
I was just laughing watching Gov. Obaseki's speech last night on how FG printed about N60b to share among them few weeks ago next month again they'll also print and share.

Who ever that has money in bank now should just go and convert it to dollar now and save on block chain nothing go happen to am there till the end of time unless the person forgets his login details.

Just like hushpoppy, the day he comes out of jail he will release the latest in town why? because the guy stash money in his Blockchain(BTC).
Bitcoin(BTC) closed at about $57,000+ per coin. Projected at about $60.000 by month ends.

The world is gradually accepting this cryptocurrency exchange and value of these block chain currencies dont go down like that because the technology is still very new.

Remittance without story as if there won't be car issues.
Why not state how you will keep the car in good condition, obey traffic rules & not drive the car to extremely bad areas like Akute?

That is how someone here got me connect him with a 2004 Toyota Camry partner on my street. He paid the first week but gave diverse stories of how car gave him issues. For two weeks, he didn't deliver a dime.
Oya, bring the car, let the mechanic have a look, he didn't show up.
The man told me, i will be held responsible if he loses his car to this greedy person. I had to use someone who lives around his area to track him down. When i got hold of him, he pleaded that he was in neck deep debt and had to use that excuse to avoid two weeks rental.
Within 3weeks, this brother had bashed this car so bad that a learner won't be that reckless, broke one front headlamp, the passenger seat was stained with black oil and drove the entire time on bent rim.
After so much confrontation, he started mouthing off, using profane words on us, even had the guts to ask me; what have i done that someone else hasn't done?
I was enraged to the point of pressing charges against him but the owner said he want no trouble. We took the car and went home.
I'm not a car owners yet, but Why do car owners fail to identify a bad Driver early enough to recover their vehicle before it's too late. One can tell a bad car owners even from the phone conversation. Anytime I encounter a terrible car owner I'll cut the deal immediately so as to maintain my peace of mind.

One week is enough to tell if a Driver is bad to work with. Recover your vehicle immediately so that you don't suffer a hit, and end up assuming all Drivers are the same. By the time you meet the Good driver your mind is already screwed towards any Driver that comes your way, due to previous experience which you could have prevented.

My point is from first week you should have recalled your vehicle.

Dey plenty for naija .. You see them complaining about this and that etc .. They will tell u their life story and give u reasons why u should cut them a deal because they have too many mouths to feed etc ...

I stop picking his calls and told him that when he was enjoying love making with his wife . I was that not invited to the party and they love making dey sweet am .. It is now time for him to face reality etc ... I never pick his call after that .. I read him the riot act . it is not my job to feed your family , I even stop doing business with him . I can't let another man be a liability to me because he can't feed his family......

Once you come to me that your wife is in the hospital trying to give birth and the doctor is recommending operation but you don't have the money and want me to borrow or give you, you are wasting your time.

You had 9 months to prepare for your wife's delivery. You didn't think she might require CS to give birth all through the 9 months?

And if you know you won't be able to afford the cost of delivery, you shouldn't have gotten your wife pregnant.

Even me know when I go close to my wife, I personally have a calender on my phone that tracks her safe and unsafe periods. It can be so much work and sometimes frustrating but it's the price I have to pay. After doing all these, someone will expect me to pay for his own lack of planning? Not going to happen.

I have one kid and left to me, I'm perfectly okay with it but my wife would have none of it. She wants a minimum of two. I had to just give in to her but on the condition that the second kid will only come when I decide I'm ready.
Discipline is the key, interesting no wonder you are doing so well, discipline in one area, if extended to all areas of life means success and growth , guys learn from one of the best

Your own is still ok..... Do u know how many drivers will call me and beg that they can't deliver due to family work is hard etc ... ..the calls from some drivers were out of hand .. And I blame myself for it .. The reason is that I used to call my drivers and ask after their wellbeing ..big mistake .....big mistake .......BIG MISTAKE..........VERY BIG MISTAKE ........BIG MISTAKE..... ...

some of those drivers will now pour out their problems........ I than officially brought down my rental to 25k weekly .. And I stop calling them to ask after their wellbeing. .. And I said to myself if anyone of them complain after bringing rental down to 25k and am still responsible for 100% maintenance .... I will stylishly collect my car from them..

I have done it in the past grin ... Like the old saying goes if you want to catch a monkey you pet the monkey until it enters your trap .... Gone are the days I will be shouting and screaming at people. ......

Things are tough for everyone now .. People need to buckle up and grab the bull by the horn.

We thank God sha.. Things are now improving and am hoping that in nearest future I will bring rental down to 20k ..... This is will based on the amount of cars I have on my fleet ... For now we at dru23 are still growing and I hope to make that 20k rental a reality....
Lower then 25k, and full maintenance with the price of foreign exchange, you dey try o, for me 35k with full maintenance is about right, as per calling drivers to enquire about their welfare, who does that, I’ll rather run my business like a Hertz or Avis, strictly as a car rental company, l see no need for family discuss it complicates things,
More grease to your elbows Bruv, you sound tough at times but l am seeing a soft side to your character 20k Hmmmmm.
Heard from Ipwood, not seen him for a while, he is quite an interesting and delightful character,

Yes we learn sha .. I was using the American system of running a business in Nigeria.. It took me a while to realize that it will not work .......

We Nigerians are a total different breed of human beings
Old boy Nigerians sabi take advantage if they see a weakness in you and when the business collapses they call you a fool.
Always be repelled by lazy people; they are enemies. They will infect you with their lack of muscle tone and spread discouragement all over you like a blight. Nothing works in their world and optimists are daydreamers. Once it calls for persistence and boneheaded latching on, they see ancestral curses and their world begins to teem with demons nobody can conquer. They want to infuse you with that hopelessness so that you can go sit in the dust with them watching television or scrolling social media or fighting over Messi and Ronaldo all day long. Lazy people are like influenza patients or worse because influenza patients will only kill you with their proximity but the lazy man or woman has a lethal tongue in addition. Don't allow them get so close you begin to roll in bed like them and say nothing works and nothing will work. Keep away from them - they are actual enemies.

Bros I nor expect this kind thing from you ooh grin
You have 9-5 work
Your dashboard na million
You wan down tool for December,
I sure say u no join endsars movement
Why not encourage d strike rather than condemn it, every driver should be able to take one day off.
Even partners should join d strike.
If you can’t join don’t condemn it.
Everything don sky rocket for market yet na same fares except na surge.

I don save d date I go follow switch off app, even if it doesn’t work let it send a signal to d coys.

I heard of a strike in U.S dt all d drivers will switch off their app at a particular time say
9am to 12 pm or at airport at a particular planned time. So that all riders will get stranded and app coys will get many complaints.
Let’s say Monday off Uber app 6am - 12pm
Tuesday off bolt
THE PROTEST THAT SEEMS TO WORK IS WHEN YOU TAKE THEM TO COURT OVER LABOUR LAWS, THAT SEEMS TO WORKS BEST, DECISIONS HAVE BEEN MADE BY THE COURT THAT FAVOURS DRIVERS , I AM NOT SURE ABOUT PROTESTATIONS ON THE STREET THOUGH, THOUGH AS YOU SAID IT MIGHT SEND A SIGNAL, DO YOU ALSO FILL IN THE JOB SATISFACTION SURVEYS THEY SEND, IT REALLY WORKS AS THEY WANT A HAPPY COMMUNITY OF DRIVERS, THEN FINALLY DRIVERS CAN SEND IN MILLION OF COMPLAINTS OF INCREASE IN PETROL PRICES AND THE NEED TO INCREASE FARES, SIMPLE PROTEST NO DEY TO WORK

The old tough Dru was not a real one, this is the real dru23.

Godfather10:
Lower then 25k, and full maintenance with the price of foreign exchange, you dey try o, for me 35k with full maintenance is about right, as per calling drivers to enquire about their welfare, who does that, I’ll rather run my business like a Hertz or Avis, strictly as a car rental company, l see no need for family discuss it complicates things,
More grease to your elbows Bruv, you sound tough at times but l am seeing a soft side to your character 20k Hmmmmm.
Heard from Ipwood, not seen him for a while, he is quite an interesting and delightful character,
By the way do you import Honda civics for sale
