The entire bolded are Igbo language. Why did you try to divide them then unite Urhobo. Anioma is an acronym that encompasses all Igbos in Delta State never a language or dialect. The dialects vary from town to town.

I love when nigeria argue blindly most nigerians don't travel like the yorubas I have lived in all part of the country argue with your keyboard the north has a lot of tribes am not talking about the different dialects you think you have in the west I had an serious argument that I was not an igbo but yet yoruba told me isoko was igbo just different dialects when I went to the north I fell same trap the yoruba did I thought all were hausa but no nigeria was not even named nigeria by us not to talk about the word yoruba ( ask a yoruba the meaning of yoruba )

the igbos in the south are not the same if you like kill and hang yourself to death come fight me they all have common ansector which are not from nigeria that's why some jamicans and other countries aside nigeria speak igbo language every tribe and dialect in this world has one root thats why if you look at the meaning of mom and dad in all laungage of the world you will see a similar pronunciation but believe it or not the north is made up of more language than any part of nigeria follow by the south and am not referring to different dialects not your kogi is the same as oke bale no am talking real different dialects

Dats one of the biggest arguments currently going in Nigeria as per politics n also relating to Baifra..

Truly, Maybe Anioma(D Issele-ukwu, Asaba n Ogwuash-uwku) sometimes agree dat they are Igbo because they re somewhat closer to Onitsha, Anambra state..,

But Ika (Agbor ppl) and Ndokwa(Kwale) will tell you dat they re NEVER Igbos!!

Major Gen Leo Irabor(One of Buhari's newly appointed service chiefs) frm Ika says he IS NOT an Igbo man..

So Igbos should understand diz..U guys cannot force Dem..Am not from doz areas in Delta State, by d way..

I just answered anoda person now..

Asaba, Issele-ukwu n doz Ogwuash-uwku pple can sumtyms bend to claims dat dey are Igbos..

But IKA(Agbor pple) n NDOKWA (Kwale pple) will never do dat..

Don't know d reason..One guy from Ndokwa quoted me..U can ask him..

Der's also one Ika guy from Edo state(dats Igbanke, close to Agbor), go ask him too..

my friend it's not Kogi people that came to Anambra not at all their people were ceeded into Anambra cos of the natural boundary made by water they do not claim to be Igbo. They speak igala which is their language. But their state of origin so far is Anambra except if there is boundary adjustment to that effect. It seems u do not know Anambra very well or u do not live in Anambra or u are still a small boy. Or maybe u think Anambra starts and ends inside it village. Well I know it may even shock to know that the name Anambra is from omambala river and omambala river is located in Anambra east and that is the place that has igala people. By the way our governor if u check well maybe related to igala. Go and ask it elders questions

Use ur sense.

U said kaduna has 59 tribes and u still want other Nigerian states to have average of 6 tribes each so that the total number of nigerian tribes will correctly land around *over 250*

Grow up and stop d stupidity. There is no state in nigeria that had up to 10 tribes.
If you dont know something just keep quiet stop making a foool of yourself

you don't know Anambra simple we do not say that they are Igbo. They are not Igbo. Just like there are Igbo people in Kogi and venue living as indigenous people. Same way in nnsukka axis there igala people who are Enugu people. But they are not igbo. It's sad for u but take heart

Nothing to check there. The writer is as confused as the owner of this thread.

Goan learn the difference between a language and a dialect.
Don't just assume you know all.. make research and educate yourself

Despite u guys understanding dier language, Most still claim dat they shouldn't b called Igbos, particularly the Ikas(Agbor pple) n Ndokwa(Kwale n Ukwuani pple)..

Major Gen Leo Irabor of Ika origin says he is NOT an Igbo man..

Dorathy of Big Brother Naija Show is from Ika when she spoke Igbo in one of their Thursday nite presentation, Hell was let loose by Ikas in Nigeria n Diaspora on Twitter, saying Ika is not Igbo!!

It is only d Asaba, Ibuza n Issele-ukwu pple dat don't have Qualms being referred to as Igbos...

So u Igbos cannot be Forcing Dem..Just like Hausa forcing d kaduna tribes d OP mentioned to identify demselves as Hausa..

Is it Right?? undecided

If you are smart enough to understand that Uvwie, Okpe, and Ughievwen are all Urhobos of different clans, I don't see how you are not smart enough to understand that Ika, Ukwuani, Ndokwa, and Anioma are all Igbo clans. The Igbos have been largely politically unfortunate in Nigeria since the civil war hence brothers resort to self-denial and denying each other; but the truth still stands.

As I have answered d others, it is d pple demselves dat say they are not Igbos, particularly Ikas(Agbor pple) n Ndokwas(Kwale pple)..

If d Dein of Agbor (Monarch of d Ikas) travels abroad n someone calls him 'An Igbo man', dat would be the most offensive thing d person would be doing!!..

N I feel dey are Right!! Dier forefathers must have migrated from the Core Igbos towns to Delta State, changed a little bit of d language n culture..

Because even in Bayelsa, der is an Ethnic group (Epie or Nembe or so..) dat does not like being called Ijaws!! N dier language is almost similar to Ijaws, in same Bayelsa..

During my NYSC, one guy from bayelsa was so angry about this..

So let's respect d wishes of pple as regards religion n politics..
