Thanks for this.

Please saying my parents transferred the money to my account for my schooling in Canada would it raise an eyebrow as the VO might assume the possibility that the money was probably collected from someone else and dumped in my account.
Will I need to show a proof of the statement that shows my mum’s company account(source of the fund) where the money is coming from?

Please someone should help me it’s my first time of applying and I don’t really know the best way to go about it.
Thanks.

Hmmm

The Visa officer probably believes that you are not an honest person. The goal now is to convince him/her that you are.

Argue your case confidently, giving all the facts, but don't be rude.

Make sure you put down your application number and CIC number.

I can't tell you how to go about convincing the VO because you and you alone understand what you filled and what you didn't.

As for chargeback. A chargeback is like a refund on your debited transaction... For example, after paying for the visa fee, you recovered the money. This may be seen as a tricky stunt.

This is why I think the VO is highly suspicious of you, and you must do all you can to convince him or her otherwise.

Even if he or she is going to refuse you visa, defend yourself enough to steer clear of a five year ban.

You still do not understand how dire this situation is. You place emphasis on the IMM form and don't seem to be worried about the chargeback.

Good luck!

What does the bolded even mean? (rhetorical question) It's not exactly logical- it really doesn't matter which form asked about it, as long as the answer is false.

Please wait for the gurus to direct you better,

but if the business account is your mums then the business registration should show her name as the sole proprietor and her business name also. She can also transfer from her business account to her personal account since there isn’t much inflow in the business account.
Please don’t shy away from uploading documents, even if they send the money to you, you have to explain where the money came from and the person’s source of income

Thanks..

It’s obvious April applicants are getting updates and Early March applicants like me are getting no update, cos I just see one or two people that applied in April now saying they’ve got NSE request, My application (re-application) has been going through background check since the very day I submitted in March and yet, no update, (no upfront medical, nor mbs or ielts, just Normal reapplication, already had biometrics in my previous application).

Is there anyone who can justify this and give Early March hopes if possible,
Is there anyone in the same or similar shoe??
Going to seven weeks now, no update at all.

There is for a working visa but if you are using an agent, be very careful cos those guys promise your LMIA from an employer in Canada. That document is not that easy to get, so they forge it plus the process is really stressful. My advice is be careful o!!

First Bank Rumuomasi.PH.. just show them the first bank mbs form. it will reduce plenty unnecessary talk..

A lot of the costumer service folks in first bank (including their supervisors and managers) are not aware of such service. You just have to insist!

Yes
But it's employer specific that is back up with LMIA

Tha problem is that it a very cumbersome process and a lot of fraudulent guys have abuse the process

So is a process that should be fine with a lot of caution

Mid-march here, and I'm positive my application is at the final stage.

Eligibility started last month.

Yes I actually know ppl who are working with it in Canada presently
And I have a two years work visa presently

My only issue is that my employer back out due to covid and I have to apply again with my new employer

It's a process that has been abused by fraudster and 419

So that is why I would not advise anyone to just rush into the process foolishly

Its a very slippery ground
But that does not stop the fact that is possible
Infact when I hear ppl talk about it I shout scam
Because a lot of them is actually scam oooo

If you did, there must have been a follow-up section for an explanation. Do you remember given any reason for the visa refusal? If you don't remember, you must have clicked on "No". Just give them an explanation it was error. I don't know what else you can do. Post your intended response to the query here before submitting it.

I clicked yes, even wrote in details in the im form, It was a mistake from them

Seems this is another version of PROCEDURAL FAIRNESS LETTER. I actually thought it's an applicant with a SUSPICIOUS/FRAUDULENT BANK STATEMENT that do get this type of letter.

For the charge back, it was my uncle that paid for the application fee, he was the one that paid for the first one, which was denied, I already sent him a message if he got a refund of the application fee, he is in Canada, and he isn’t online yet to reply.. the charge back is easy to explain , worried about the im form which I answered correctly.

Someone finally reacting the way I reacted when I saw the chargeback stuff.

Looks like the transaction for the study permit application was reversed or something like a vendor stacking a reclaim of that transaction.

If you did pay yourself, can you show proof and authenticate that transaction?

If someone paid for you, I would advise you reach out to the person as fast as possible.

I have little idea of immigration and how to appease a VO, but as a finance person, A chargeback simply means a reclaim (I might be wrong tho). How this happen... Local man has no idea undecided

I wish you luck

I just thought of something now, (An ASSUMPTION THOUGH)

- Was it the day you wanted to submit your Study Visa Application, you downloaded your IMM FORMS from the IRCC website or you have downloaded it a long while ago on your system?

- Did you download the form from a random third party website that has the IRCC IMM forms?

- Was the Acrobat Adobe Reader you used to fill your form an UPDATED ONE

Am asking this cos IRCC do state that, an applicant must make sure he/she downloads the updated IMM forms from the IRCC website (cos the IMM form for January 2021 can be quite different from the March 2021 IMM form) & make use of the latest ACROBAT READER to fill the forms

But IRCC should have contacted the applicant and let him know that the visa fee payment didnt go through before now. Besides its not its fault but from the payment platform or service at the time of payment.

I think its unfair to be issued a procedural fairness letter cos the issues raised is a technical fault not from the applicant

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 3:52pm On Apr 20, 2021
Yes it might be technical error and it is the responsibility of both/neither IRCC & applicant to express concern on a failed transaction.... Both parties have moral responsibility to that effect, it isn't out to place for any of the party to have notify each other.... Funny enough, the transaction might be with the 3rd party payment solution/fintech company (in this case, money leaves applicant account & never hits IRCC account) very possible.

However, I don't want you to write off some smart and unwholesome moves too (false debit or transfer, cross firing of transactions among others)

Let's see how things unfold.

I wish him best of luck, him winning this battle is a win win for everyone on this platform

I can only answeron the chargeback part. It means the bank you made your applicationand biometrics payment with has recalled the money from IRCC's position. Either the person who mad Serge payment made the request or the bank did for some reason. Or a technical challenge from the bank. Either way, you get the point. You need to make another payment.

This Canada study permit is really stressing we Nigerians.
Someone at the age of 40 can decide to go for bsc or even for diploma courses, its no body's business. One can finish bsc and decides to go for another bsc, honestly I can decides that.
I blame our leaders that created all these problems for we youths.

When I was applying for my diploma degree in one of the colleges in NL, one of the requirements to apply is that I must have gone to a higher institution for not less than 3years which means I can use bsc or HND to apply to get a diploma cert. If there is no career progression, why such requirements. How can someone be denied a study permit after giving admission and paying tuition fee. I believe that Schools should work with Embassy before giving admission.

This personal assets and finance Visa officers are requesting, is it for someone at the age of 25years who want to study that they are asking! Even in their place, how many people under 30 years can boast of landed properties, their citizens go to school with loans.

Upon after providing these requirements, NSE will come up with their own, they will still delay and refuse applicant the opportunity after several months. I really blame our bad government for all these humiliation and stress this Canadian VOs are causing us.

My points though, not writing to impress or go against anyone's views or points. I just decided to pour out my mind.
One thing I got to understand from all these application is that iRcc doesn't confirm from the schools if a prospective student has made payment or got admission unlike UK that your visa success depends on the school.
