The hidden truth with teaching job is "It is a time waster", before you realize what's up time has gone far.

You will have a plan of working for a little time before moving to something better, but before you know it you don old for the school.
Those school owners are cunny, when they notice you are contemplating leaving, they will entice you with principal position or one position like that. �

You may not know this until the day you chose to stop teaching and focus on a bigger thing.

Note: I am referring to the average or normal teaching jobs not the ones in big schools with good pay.

I seriously don't understand how someone can actually pay anyone 15k for a teaching job. My mai guard is getting 25k plus food and board.
Some of these mushroom schools are just heartless and selfish.

Please my candies advice is be more proactive.. Look out for better opportunities.. Even if it means man power work.. U must not get a white collar job..

I finished service this year and got job in one school here in Warri, Delta State. After all said and done.. The principal said he can only afford to pay me 12k.. I appreciated him and politely declined the job and moved on..

I'm in same shoe with you..Hoping for better days ahead...I have moved on looking for more opportunities..applying and also doing other menial jobs because when you depend on that job you won't be able to do anything with your life.

Look out for more opportunities, I know its not easy but try change environment once in a while and drop your C.V in other schools that can pay well
Lastly learn a skill which I am trying to do now
I once posted about this on NL and I was advised on what to do...they gave me so many instances and ideas.
I even got so many connection from Lagos..but I couldn't go because the Job was not my type..and the recruiters said I have to reside in Lagos..
There is many opportunities in Lagos but accommodation issues bro
