Jamb questions are trash I can bet my balls. For those of us that wrote UI post utme we can relate.
Jamb isn't trash. They only refuse to change the pattern and I'm not surprise about the post utme at all. Any exam body who wouldn't like it's test to be called trash should apply UI's tactics. The top scorer in 2018 got 90 something, 2019 was 92. Imagine if the tradition of setting questions was static, and remember our preparation took almost one year. Common, someone will score 97. I believe UI was intentional about it to regulate the scores.

I was given this question;
PEPSIN hydrolyzes one of these
A. Fat
B. Sugar
C. Starch
D. Lipid
lol

I know of people that got 300,293, 270 that couldn't meet up to 50% agreed mark
It happens every year. Nothing special.

To those of you preparing for Jamb read hard for your English, It's a life saver. Why have you not questioned that from the inception of Jamb nobody has broken the 80 mark in English.
Read hard for Jamb, read harder for post utme.
Precious advice!

Sadly no but I'm still hoping. I can't do 18 hours a day though. I still have to finish 10 university courses to finish in a month , it's very depressing.
Regardless of having to finish ten courses, I assume you understand the basics of the core subjects so 18 hours is not necessary since you aren't starting from scratch. Are you? Just keep updating yourself with the right information. Work on your weaknesses without neglecting the ones you know well - it might be illusion of competence.

I acknowledge your struggle boss... running a degree yet preparing for Jamb. Please, maintain quality health and mental well-being. May the grace of God find us!

The highest score so far this year is 84. Anybody doesn't bag 80 and above in UI post utme. In Jamb 300 and above is not hard.
What's your course? MBBS?

Less than 40 scored above 80 this year compared to last session with over 250 candidates. 300 Jamb score is not hard? really? what's your score? if it's above 300, did you sleep all day to get that? Nonetheless, the max excitement we have after success covers the stress we had, which makes success seems easy.

I never said it was easy. Just pointing at the fact that Jamb has watered things down. I read very hard for Post utme than I have ever done in my life. Just short of 300 by some marks. If I had read this hard for Post Utme then I would passed 300. Jamb doesn't even ask you tricky questions again. If you've solved Jamb from 1978-1997 and compare 2004-2020 you would understand that it has lost its value. My pain is that some people can't even reach 200. Our syllabus is a shame sef.

UI really changed the mode setting questions this year o. some 300+ got wasted oo
I also participated in Ui post utme this year.
Jamb - 288
P.utme - 64
Agg - 68
course - Computer science.

Honestly I hope I pass the cut-off mark because I have been hearing some narratives that the cut-off mark this year might be high due to good peformances of aspirants in the exam.

Wow so for the about 40,000 people that sat for the exam this year, less than 40 scored above 80 shocked.

It was CBT done at Distance Learning Center in UI.

No, there were no wrong questions but there were lotta tricky options which require in-depth understanding and reasoning in order to arrive at the correct answer. Sometimes, all the options are correct/wrong but there's always one that is the most appropriate.

A quick review to the question I posted. PEPSIN hydrolyzes protein but there was nothing like that in the option. We have fat, lipid, sugar and Starch.

Fat digestion happens in the duodenum whereas PEPSIN is associated to stomach. Sugar is literally same as glucose. Thus, both lipid and sugar are end products which do not react further. we are left with Starch - a substrate. You grasp?

These people were once students. They know how we think. that's why whatever you get in physics calculations, it will be among the options. Only those who could think like a Professor survive.

Someone asked earlier if they'll ever become a medical doctor. My friend you can be anything. There's no magic involved. I'm telling you this because I used to be in your shoes 10 years ago while doing predegre and then onto physiology. I remember when I started following this thread in 2013/2014 ( a whopping 8 years, wheew!).Then lagusta who formed the thread was a bit still active.( Thunde fire ASUU and covid sha grin)
Well to cut the long story short. I'm a doctor as I'm typing right now. But here's the deal, there's no other worldly feeling attached to it. You just know that life is a journey and that each stage is merely a platform for a higher achievement.
I'm not good when it comes to typing but I just want to say that many of you here will give this testimony in a few years to come.

I want you to name some schools in south west where one can easily get admission for MBBS.
This is to help those who are aspiring and also to create a simple way of acquiring the dream course.
As usually said..medicine is medicine everywhere.
Be kind to mention pls.
