We have had several Perekule monarchs before the amayanabo you mentioned in your bid to distort history. Kingdoms like Kalabari and Nembe were even much older than Bonny. Coupled with that there were several monarchs before Perekule.

This particular ´next author even mentioned the population in 1841.. There were a very few people from Brass (In this book, the Brass were considered at least better than the others they called Ejo who were termed as savages and considered to have Igbo influences themselves)
