2. Another school of thought tells us that the soul doesn't go to heaven or hell immediately, but all soul is resting either in Abraham's bosom or Hades pending the rapture of the saints. It is said that if souls were already in heaven or hell, why would they need to rise up to reign with Jesus, or why will the bad ones rise up to the great white throne Judgement?? This school of thought believes that no one is in the lake of fire or heaven yet.


3. This school of thought believes the dead is dead and gone forever... There's no heaven or lake of fire.



Which do you believe??

Is heaven for humans?? Or a description of what the new Earth will be after the removal of this present Earth?

Soul? what exactly is that? I looked through a biology book but couldn't find a reference to souls. I looked through a mythology book however and found all kinds of information on souls. Are there any peer reviewed scholastic research papers published in any medical journals that I could learn more about this thing called souls? Where is this thing? how many does each person have? 1? 2? more? it varies?

What gene is it linked to in our DNA? What kind of cells is it made of or what exactly is it made of? can we see thing thing with an MRI machine or a powerful microscope? Who do you think would know more about this thing called souls: a witch doctor from the deepest jungles of Ogbomoso who has had no contact with civilization, or the entire science faculty from MIT?
Scientists study everything; why don't they study souls? Is it for the same reasons they don't study the powers of Deadpool or the magic of Harry Potter?

Most people are out there trying to tell people what they should believe in. Many do it for their financial gains.
Everything about creatures remain a mystery.
No one has ever died and woken up to give accurate details of what transpired.
The BIBLE wasn't written by God.
People sat down and wrote it.
In Fact, they gathered different articles written by different people and called it BIBLE.

As for we catholics, we believe in purgatory for those whom mercy have been shown to. we are not like other denominations who believe in the fact that ''All sins are sin''. we believe in that insufficient grace of God upon our lives on earth and the life after.

purgatory, is just like a tentative place of reflection for the soul, pending it final judgement, But I still don't know the faith of souls who are die hard sinners. well, what do I know. to my own personal philosophy, life after death is a mystery to Mankind. only after you die, will you know the faith of your soul. But while alive on earth, do the good you can to fetch you a reasonable place in the after life.

I don't believe in religion, though I believe there is a God, since God is just a supreme being, I've always Kean on the fact that man is a God until something much more intelligent and more supreme comes.
But for now, I just use societal norms to govern my life, though I take some religious norms too like love ur neighbour and don't do anything that will hurt him, except that, I fornicate and I feel that's the only sin I do commit

If you read that part of the Bible in Genesis, the Bible said that God created man(Adam) from the dust but there was no LIFE in him when he did, so God BREATHE the BREATH OF LIFE into him and there was LIFE in him.

If you believe the first then tell me the purpose of JUDGEMENT DAY and what is the purpose of the resurrection of the "Just and unjust"
