If he had started Pogba, United would have won this game.

Bruno was well marked and they rarely gave him any chance on the ball. With Pogba in, Leeds can only double mark one creative player. They couldn’t have double marked two creative players - one would expect a manager that actually passed his coaching exams to know this.
Yet your Pogba was available when Sheffield United defeated us.

The same manager that won nothing in his debut season?

Turned what into a joke? Are you aware City’s small status is the reason why they couldn’t sack Pep in his debut season according to Pep himself?

By the end of this season he would have won 3 of the last 4 league titles.

That is irrelevant.

We don’t know how Scolari or other managers Chelsea have sacked after their first season would have turned out too if they had their chairman’s support.

You see how that works?

Pep has never completed a season without a title in his career. PL told him “hold my beer”.

Baba quickly dabbled into the market - bought £200m worth of defenders in one season to quickly patch up his damaged credibility.

Amodu Shuaib would have won exactly the same or even more with such financial backing.

Each of Pep’s defenders broke English record.

Pep have spent more as a manager.

United’s spendings were under 4 managers who kept doing and undoing each other’s philosophies.

Pep has presided over a 5 year period working at the same philosophy with almost £900m spent.

The revisionism in this post is laughable.

Carling Cup finals are played earlier. No one plays fringe players in February with 1/3 of the season left to complete.

The idea that Mourinho was expected to win all those carling cup trophies is also flawed. In 2005, he beat Alex Ferguson over 2 legs in the semifinal before beating Benitez in the final. How is he expected to win those feisty games?

In 2015, he also beat Klopp’s Liverpool over 2 legs in the semis before facing Spurs. How’s he favorites to win those when Klopp was his nemesis even as a Madrid manager.

In 2017, he clobbered Pep in the round of 16 in a one off game that no one expected him to win considering Pep had beaten him in a league game at Old Trafford.

Chelsea were supposed to beat Liverpool, Arsenal U21s, Tottenham whilst United were supposed to beat Southampton in the finals stop bringing up irrelevant details. Revisionism? Try outright lying that Benitez used fringe players in the league. For context, Liverpool were on 50 pts at week 32 whilst 4th placed Everton were on 54. Everton ended the season on 61 to Liverpool's 58. It is clear that there was a bigger incentive to chase for the 4th spot than hope in a lifetime to beat that AC Milan team. So throw that junk info somewhere else. By the way, 1-0 away win against a heavily rotated side (9 changes) is now a clobbering? lol

Bayern is richer FACT, Money beget more money FACT

The League sharing formular rewards results, just like every other league, There is nowhere the team that finished last should get more than the team that finished ahead of them. Bayern success have made them able to get more sponsors FACT
So what is the solution? Is it for Bayern to deliberately give money away to other clubs? Or for the Bundesliga to reward teams who finish lower just to punish the winners?

You didn't address the fact that the revenue sharing formula is based on a points system that takes the league position of the last 3 or 5 seasons into consideration. Kinda like UEFA coefficient.

Bayern is at the top of that coefficient while other teams are far behind.

A competitor who is forced to sell their key man this season will have little chance to recover (and continue to be a top earner and challenge Bayern) if they perform woefully the next season because they can't find a quick replacement.

This is what BuLi says https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/Bundesliga/agmd12-dfl-media-income-distribution-424720.jsp

25 percent of the international income will initially be distributed evenly across all 18 Bundesliga clubs, while a further 50 percent will be paid out on the basis of a five-year ranking of international performance. This amount will be paid out proportionately to the points awarded on the basis of this ranking. However, there are differences in the calculation methods compared with the UEFA’s five-year ranking system: in the interests of a more performance-oriented assessment, no bonus points are awarded if the group phase in international competitions is reached.

The distribution of the other 25 percent is based on the number of matches in the Europe League and Champions League (including qualifying competitions). One point is rewarded for every match played. The amount paid is proportional to the number of points achieved. Starting with the 2017/18 season, Bundesliga 2 will initially receive an annual share of five million euros of the international income before the Bundesliga clubs gain anything. One million euros will be added to this in each of the following seasons.

Basically, the top 4 teams get the lion share while other teams get peanuts. Woe betide you if you don't fall into that category.

In the whole of Europe only Germany has the 50+ 1 rule, So in the whole of Europe, Can you mention 5 clubs that have benefitted from having sugardaddies?
I know of 3 which are Chelsea City and PSG. 2 of them are state sponsored to launder the image of countries and the other is Chelsea from Roman with shady Russian Oligarrch Money. If you know more let me know. Any investor is looking to make profit from their business venture and as a Man Utd fan I dont need to tell you there is a difference between a Glazer sugardaddy(who is looking to make profit) vs a Nasser sugardaddy who is looking to launder the image of a whole country

Realistically the only sugar daddy that can spend enough to upstage Bayern long term is one that does not care about profits not a Glazer or FSG type but a Mansoor or Nasser type which only 3 exist in the whole of Europe.

Besides these 3, Europe is littered with tales of woes about how Sugardaddies wreck their clubs. Bordeaux a recent French champion reported this week that its going into administration because its American sugardaddy pulled out suddenly. Similar thing happened to Portmouth and Malaga which wrecked those teams

Do you seriously believe that if Bayern didnt sign Lewandoski, he will be at Dortmund today? Bayern didnt sign Aubamenyang, Kagawa Sahin, Mikitaryan, Pulisic, Gundogan, Dembele etc none of them is at Dortmund now, Sancho will soon join them

I'm not saying the 50+1 rule is totally horrible, it just isn't good enough to allow more room for competition. It's not compulsory that there must be a sole owner. Several companies can hold significant shares in a club and provide loans to them during trying times whilst using their brand to advance their own brand.

So which team does not poach talent? The Hoffenheim guy you quoted will he tell us all his team are from their academy? Is he not poaching from somewhere?

Augsburg take from Division 2, Hoffenheim take from Augsburg, Mochengladbach take from Hoffenheim, Dortmund take from Mochengladbach yet they complain that someone is poaching

So where is Bayern expected to get their players from? Maternity wards? The last player Bayern signed from Dortmund was in 2016 since then Dortmund have sold many of their top players elsewhere, yet they will complain that its Bayern causing their problem

Basically, you want other teams to be able to sign top players from Bundesliga but Bayern not to. Where does that happen?

Why is it that no one poaches players but Bayern but Bayern can poach from any other club in the BuLi?
Why is it that Bayern is the only one with this legendary poaching ability? In other leagues, you don't see one team bullying everyone. No single team has the resources and power to command and do as they wish. It's usually more than one- competition.
Of the top 10 most expensive BuLi to BuLi transfers, Bayern accounts for at least 80% of them. Why??

Who is likely to challenge Bayern consistently? Is it a team that has consistently made top 4 or those that just gate crashed into it one season?
Dortmund is 5th currently if they should miss the top 4, the revenue formular still guarantee them a higher share than a fluke team that came. Just like in the EPL if West Ham should make top 5 and Chelsea/Liverpool miss out, who do you think stand a better chance of challenging Man City long term
The German model reward consistency and not flukes

If you are interested in challenging Bayern or say Man City who should be given more money, West Ham or Liverpool, Frankfurt or Dortmund

I'm not saying the 50+1 rule is totally horrible, it just isn't good enough to allow more room for competition. It's not compulsory that there must be a sole owner. Several companies can hold significant shares in a club and provide loans to them during trying times whilst using their brand to advance their own brand.

Anyone investing in a club means they are putting money and they are looking for returns. If its a company they will rather put their advert on a club doing well and getting exposure. Bayern will get more TV viewership than Paderborn
Per the rule, if you are a corporate sponsor and you are willing to sponsor for 20yrs without controlling interest then you are free. How many companies will continue pouring money for 20yrs without any returns? If you are a genuine company whose interest is in making profit, How do you explain to your owners and shareholders that you are pouring money into a venture

Why is it that no one poaches players but Bayern but Bayern can poach from any other club in the BuLi?

The answer to this is MONEY. Bayern has more money
Same reason no one poaches from Man City, Madrid and PSG
If you are still wondering how Bayern got that money, Look at your video again. It has all the answers
How many times have Frankfurt poached from Dortmund, How many times have Augsburg poached from Frankfurt, how many times have West Ham poached United

If you have another answer besides money you can let me know

Some people here are older richer and more accomplished than me. When I see them in real life I will bow but because of the anonymity of the internet I will be insulting them.

Insults are usually thrown by people who have no points to share in the first place. Many people here should be adults and should know better than to be throwing childish Insults around
