I might have sounded harsh, forgive me thiugh wasnt intentional. I understand what you are saying but I was trying to encourage him not to rush into applying for a masters immediately after graduation as you will need these factors like work experience to be able to convince these visa officers. But again, anything is possible

If I were to go back in time to the year I finished my undergrad studies, I would apply for master's studies in Canada right from when I was still in final year, without wasting valuable time on Nigerian work experience and NYSC.

In my opinion, a final year undergrad student who is transitioning to MA/MSc directly, without any period of work experience in-between, is in a more credible position to be offered a visa (all other things being equal) than someone who's attained years of so-called Nigerian work experience. At the end, it will all come down to academic progression, availability of finance, careful documentation, the God factor, etc.

I submiteed two of my landed property. My wife is an hr in a company. I paid my fees. I am going alone. I am sponsoring myself with a closing balance of 15m and inflow and outflow of 123m for 6 month required. What are this guys really looking for again? I have apllied for my gcms note even before now. they do. It's obvious his previous course of study didn't match with the one he applied for.

You guess they've a thousand and one rogue agents whose job is to dish out refusals to the majority of applicants, and then a handful of actual agents who issue visa approvals. Lol...

Good day house. I just got in here and I've really been enjoying this thread.

I plan to apply for my study permit latest by May 10 in order to meet the popular May 15th deadline for people studying this fall semester.

However, before I submit my application, I thought it appropriate for me to have an expert review it. Please I'll like to know if anyone knows any agency or anyone at all who can help me out with this service. Thanks

Did you receive the gcms notes you ordered? Ideally the reasons on this refusal letter is generic, you were refused specifically based on your purpose of visit, I believe you didn't convince the visa officer that you're a bonafide student with your choice of program of studies and relationship with your previous education, career and how benefitial it is to you at this moment and future aspirations in your career, as for finance it could be that lump sums were noticed in your transactions on your account statement to the discretion of the visa officer, I believe with a better application you stand a better chance for approval

Wooow so sorry about ur refusal
When did you apply?... NSE or Normal route?
I would advise you see your gcms notes to be able to adequately understand the reasons for your refusal as this will help you to tackle them while reapplying!

Don't give up.

It will end in Praises!

Just saying

For the bolded please
Him being denied based on personal assets and financial status is very broad and only his GCMS would explain
You can see someone is “50m” balance being denied based on personal assets and financial status even after paying full fees but when the applicants gets their gcms you would see
“ the proposed study isn’t going to be a reasonable expense” there’s more than just having money in your bank account
-is the program he wants to purse worth the expenses??
- we’re there any unexplained lump sum?
- did he explain the source of income properly and backed it up with authentic documents?
Let’s not dish out wrong information.

2- Being that he is financially independent and capable of the expenses then why shouldn’t he sponsor himself It’s even stronger when he’s self sponsored because he’s a matured adult

There’s more to his generic refusal letter which only the gcms would reveal.

That's quite insightful. I seem to have some monies leaving and entering my sponsor's account (from 8m to 11m, then to 3m, 5m, and then finally grew to 8.3m). The 5m stayed in the account for about two months untouched, before it finally grew to 8.3m, which my sponsor explained in his Letter of Sponsorship. What do you think about this kind of transaction history, and is there any way I can better explain it.

I just got my Gcms note now , this is what is showing understand the assessment please what the meaning

Have a look at the NOTE Section. It's the last section on your GCMS note before the records of the webforms you being sending to IRCC, if you have.

It'll probably have notes about your application fee payment chargeback. I hope you have paid it now. The note should show you a clue to what is going on in the VO's mind. Take your time and read though that section, you may find something that puts your mind to rest.

I agree with others recommended interview is good. I wish you all the best and commend you for your patience.

May your 7 month wait end in praise as the saying goes. Don't forget to send them daily emails/webform.

my brother, shebi they need people who will not be a financial burden to their government, since he has the money, I was told that self sponsor is the most valued. I can decide to go for any course,it is my choice so long it align with my career part if its a science, art or commercial course of study. Buh if I were the VO, I would consider what one is coming to do in Canada after such pay and such outflow of money.

I have seen those fucking VOs make terrible miskates in people’s application, that’s high level of incompetence, and that’s why people win them in court.. some of them know noting about the course or programs they are judging you on., i wonder if they read and understand this SOPs tho.

After wasting several months, you still dish out refusals to people..

the in and outflow of money is okay. Just pray for God's favour. They questions lump sum if such amount of money has not entered the account before and all of a sudden, big money. What would be would be.
