I had issues too with this nonsense "delivery only" cos no one could inspect the items before leaving the pick up location. Unfortunately one of my laptops came dead. I just thank God the client was not a kid, and everything was sorted out amicably.

This was his excuses, and his handler did not allow pickup he only deliver.
Re: Dispute Resolution Thread [For Pickup/Deal Hunting & Other Issues Alike] by Kozmorgan(m): 11:17pm On May 05, 2021
Handler didn’t check the item before sending it out, so Omic can’t even say for sure if item came in faulty or nah him rider knack am for floor before it got to the receiver. In anyways, Daaz and Omic has to find a favorable solution.

Omicpet and Daaz Oya oh....

Let’s hear your side.

I’d particularly like to understand Omicpet’s stance on delivery knowing inspection is very important in this business of ours.

Good evening everyone,
lemme take this short because i always avoid having issues with anyone here
On April 8th daaz picked a deal for me which is MacBook air 2018 and the item available for pickup on April 29th
I messaged omicpet for pickup which he told me they only deliver and I sent the delivery details to them...
The laptop later deliver in the evening that same day,and when the receiver which is the buyer(kozmorgan) got the item,he switched on the pc to check it out and he found out the pc got line on the screen which he forwarded the pictures to me immediately..
I messaged DAAZ001 about it the reply was,he didn't picked the laptop with any line and he asked me why can't I check the item out when picking it up,and I told him omicpet only do delivery no pickup..
DAAZ001 told me he will talk to them in the morning which is the next day, I messaged daaz001 that same morning to asked for any update update...he reply was omicpet told him he will ask his staff about it
Like since April 29th Daaz001 have been given me excuses that he didn't shipped the laptop with bad screen which the laptop was delivered with bad screen to the buyer...

Have been having a hard time resolving the issue with so I decided to bring it up here for my oga's in the house to help me resolve am  any evidences required I can always provide

Omicpet and Daaz001 let's hear from you.

He has done both even brought it to the group self , yet no one has spoken about it.

Irrespective of how Alfred74 may have phrased it, he spoke the unrefined truth. You can't impose something on people without considering their unique , varying or distinct circumstances. Hypothetically speaking what if the owner of the deal lives in Yaba , is he compelled to pay for dispatch for an item.he could possibly walk to.

Now that there are issues popping up , left right and center because item wasn't inspected how do you resolve them , well now you have to deal with it no offense because your actions expelled the option of doing due diligence on the buyers part which inadvertently transferred liability or culpability to you.

I picked 2 devices without inspecting it and I made loss of over 50k on one of them and the second I was fortunate that oga Steve is a reasonable person if not na village straight . So there's no way in heaven's I'll pick a device that I'm not going to inspect properly going forward , whether na omicpet dispatch rider ki ni ko , he go wait for my person to properly scrutinize the item before he leaves . I no one hear say item was dispatched as received .

On April 17th, I sent yalhaji a pickup request to pick a laptop on my behalf. After I sent to her, I waited for some hours, no response so I felt she go pick d second day so I slept off. When I wake up for midnight, I saw her message that d laptop was defective and it was stated on the ad that the laptop isn't working so I just felt like another failed pickup. After a day, I saw rate your purchase and I was like why am I getting this mail so I asked her to confirm she didn't pick the bad laptop for me. She said she did and she would send my calculation soon. I was like calculations bawo, I was like how would you pick a defective laptop at a price that I even pick working laptop with same config at lower or same prices, how can you pick a bad laptop and you didn't call to confirm that I can't pay for the bad laptop o, I don't have people that buy bad laptops from me. Since then she has not released my laptops with her and doesn't even want to reach a compromise.

Your own carry weight, boss...

You didn't read the ad description, didn't ask for update from Yalhaji, come go sleep.

Yalhaji come pick like that instead of calling cos she thought you knew about it.

Mistakes from both parties.

No mincing of words. You own this one.

First it was stated in the ad that item was defective, you gave her the instruction to pick.

Now, we dont know if picker got to know that item was dead by reading the ad or she met seller first.

When you saw her message that item was bad, you should have made a last attempt at stopping the transaction by telling her not to pick again.

From your own explanation, you didn't say anything till she asked you to pay.

You own this.

This last case is pretty cut and dry , as long as it's stated on the ad , every sane or rational person would assume you're well aware of it. Surely you ought to have negotiated for the device and sent the picker the link , if you were in her shoes wouldn't you assume the deal.hunter was well aware of the defects ?

So what are you expecting her to do .

You All should look more critically into Ustavo's case. It is a case of no due diligence.

I was not expecting anyone to say anything before hearing from the picker.

Let the picker share her side of the story before i give my input on this.

My own is we shouldn't also judge ustavo, some sellers are so deceitful, he may not have started it on his ad. I remember some weeks back I wanted to buy a laptop, seller put on his ad Core i7 8th Gen, 16Gb ram, 512gb ssd. By d time he got to picker, Picker told me it wasn't but 7th Gen and 256GB SSD. I quickly said let me check d link again, I checked and saw it was 7th Gen 25Gb SSD, it was like movie to me, and my mistake was in our conversation there was nothing stating the specification. The seller had quickly changed the ad to 7th Gen and 256gb SSD and then expected me to buy what he stated earlier as 8th gen 512Gb. Inessence, some sellers are very cunning. So what I do now is I screenshot their ads just incase dey tell me it's in their ad. It may be that d seller didn't put it on d ad when he was chatting with ustavo, but we don't know.

What do you mean it was stated on the ad, I didn't see anything like that in the description and I didn't just start picking deals last year, the ad was obviously edited. Even if it wasn't as she said which I can't know how she new it wasn't edited, she should have confirmed because in my description, I didn't state that I was buying a dead laptop
