I proceeded with my education and finished. Went for NYSC. While serving the nation, My Mom died. When I got home, she'd been buried.
But my brother was still mad.

I later got job, took my brother to a Psychiatric hospital and the doctor after examining him said he is Schizophrenic. He was asked to stay in the hospital.
I paid. He then stayed there for one month. When I came to visit him, he pleaded with me to take him home that he didn't like it there.

So I took him home. Every month, I buy drugs for him and he gets injected. He usually puts up a fight but with the help of my younger brother, neighbors and a certain nurse, he receives the injection, forcefully and against his will.
Often times, he pleads with me not to inject him, the very time I obliged him, he scattered things, didn't allow the neighborhood sleep, talked throughout some nights and wouldn't eat sometimes. He looked really sick then but with the injection, one will hardly know he's not normal.
I told him that I won't let him miss his injection ever again.

Now, on Monday, my younger brother woke up and was unusually quiet. He normally wakes up and begins to play music with his phone or he will turn to football channel and watch until I leave for work. But I didn't go to work on Monday and I noticed he was quiet, then I asked him why he's quiet. He didn't respond. After some hours, I asked my Dad if he feels he's okay, My Dad said that he wants to be quiet and that I should let him be.

Then, that night, around 4am, my brother began to talk. He was shouting and some of the things he said were not coherent. He talked out of point. I and my Dad, with my elder brother surrounded him and I couldn't help crying when my Dad was cautioning him to keep quiet and he refused.
Neighbours thought it was my elder brother's voice they'd heard that night but by the time they heard in the morning that it was my younger brother, they visited my Dad in the evening. By then, my brother was still talking and even burnt his clothes yesterday.
My Dad got a few guys to chain him because he was violent yesterday when I left the house.
I know the problem is spiritual. I have prayed, fasted for my elder brother and now this!
I'm so unhappy.

Can someone suggest a place I can take my two brothers to so they can be cured, please.

Mental health drugs are not paracetamol, malaria drugs etc you can buy over the counter.
And no,even in a very corrupt country like Nigeria, those drugs are very hard to get.

Before the hypotheses and all, there was an influence.
Something influenced the genes.
I have been using drugs on my elder brother to soothe him but if yhe drugs were the solution, it ought to have quelled the whole thing but it hasn't, maybe because it isn't targeting the cause but the effect.

And the reason you see me going the spiritual way is because I have been thinking about the fact that we will have our own children in future, do we continue with drugs should they have this same challenge?

I just want to put an end to it by God's grace for future sake.

I went science way because I knew it's in the gene but then, I found that it's not the best because of the generations after and so I began to seek permanent solution.
Something must have triggered it because my mom's ancestors had no record of such.

And the reason for that is to seek and ask questions for cases like this (or traces of it) in the inlaws' family.

Thankfully, science has replaced that with blood match checks and DNA testing kino ko.

But then it is highly advisable to check-in on your in-laws people. Check if they've had cases of suicides before, murders, in-breeding, psychiatry issues, sugar related issues, obesity, down syndrome and the rest... For obvious reasons. Don't stress your self going from one place to the other, many people will tell you they have got the cure but they are all out to dupe and scam you. You are even lucky you found out it was schizophrenia on time. Though I understand those medications can be very expensive especially now inflation is high, but just place them on medication for now don't slack cause once they look stabilized and you stop the medication they will relapse. That sickness don't have any cure medically. Even if you are looking for spiritual cure don't ever stop with the medication especially that injection. The biggest challenge you will be having is for them to accept they have a problem.. Once they can accept this fact and take the medication on their own then the problem will become insignificant to a reasonable extent.

He knows something is wrong but still will put up a fight when the nurse comes with the injection. So knowing something is wrong is not enough because when the issue starts, he usually won't know something is wrong again instead he becomes defensive.
My true concern is our future.
They are young and can't remain like this.
They have to fend for themselves but not with this condition and dependence on drugs.
So, I just want the root of the matter sorted out.

He performs magic and nothing more

If you want to waste your time and effort go to auchi in edo state he always holds programne every last Friday of the month in auchi there

I would have advised you to save the stress but not trying at all will leave you many doubt too

it will take time for him to accept, even years but just makes sure he always takes the injection when due. I understand your fears about their future, but for now the surest thing is for them to accept their condition and take the medications themselves. They can still live their normal lives. I totally understand what you are going through, it's not easy. Taking care of a schizophrenic relation is one of the most challenging thing ever. But in your search for the root cause, be careful cause 97% of people you will meet will collect your money and do nothing for you

I'm feeling the drastic action I should take should involve fixing the root cause rather than preventing them from birthing.

I wish there's someone that can see into the past and tell me how it all began, then I'll know where to channel my energy to.

You brother is suffering from Schizophrenia.

It is heredity, you claim your mother was mad before she died, she was also suffering from the same disorder.

This is not a spiritual problem, the church will EXTORT you, herbalists will scam you.

Go visit a proper psychiatrist for your brother.

There is no permanent solution for Schizophrenia, the only way to manage it is through drugs and also rigorous physical excercises.

Yea most likely a curse. My Bro has similar issues years back. Talking to himself, acting strangely, scattering the whole place and all. We took him from one hospital to another, sometimes he'd become fine and it will start again. The ordeal took months- close to a year. Saw his hair shaved harphardly in a dream. Like signifying Madness. We also continued day and midnight prayers and praise while taking treatment. We took him to one Apostle Suleman's service in Auchi, wasn't seen one on one but was surprised he joined the cooperate aggressive prayers and all. Gradually became fine. Then he said he didn't want to continue the medication cos it was affecting him. It's about 6-7 years now and he's still hale and hearty.
Keep praying as a family for God to show the family mercy and give you a miracle as you do the medical part.
May the good lord bring healing and a cure in Jesus name!
