My brother i can't tell u because i left there for few years, and alot of things will come into play like the type of shop.... And will also not want u to be misled.....

But my advice for u is too hold a reasonable amount, the amount of money you know is enough to get a shop here in Nigeria. You might get it cheaper due to currency value

If u are really coming to Adjame, just know that it's a Muslim dominated area and those Op's experiences may not be possible.
U will hardly see an English speaking person here. No night life here in Adjame.
How did you enter bro?

lies.
We paid 15k each just to cross to Ivory coast side.
U will also settle guys that will cross u from their 1 or 2 military checkpoints. They will put u in a bus that will take u to Bouake. From their you will then know the part of Abidjan u are heading to

@Stevelaw welcome to Abidjan. Check the notes you have very well. There are a lot of fake 10k and 5k denominations in circulation here. You risk a jail term if you are caught transacting with any. Do inbox me to connect you to someone at the embassy for your ID and resident permit. Don't bother going to the embassy. This will delay it.
No extortion intended, please. My bank did the latter for me though. I know you might feel bad we no longer chat. Deep inside you, you know the reason. Again, nnoo, nwanne.

Man, can I WhatsApp you?

I might need your help.

Oga don't be scared o.
We just worked into their police station with our international passport for their residence permit for 2000 cf.
As for ID card from our embassy, our people are collecting like 7k to 10k which will be ready after 2 weeks.
One respected Igbo man collected 7k each from us.
Just be careful because some people are still running fake ID cards.

Rent , food and basic expenses.

As I dey do, money never enter and I'm not expecting anything yet because I've not started hustling. There's how they collect their house rent. The thing is confusing. I'm sleeping at an Igbo man's shop for now. I'm still trying to figure out things as na new country. If I rush enter into any business, my money go fit burn away
