Please Advise guys!! I read the below in one of the closed thread. It said I can write reference letter for myself and notarize if my company or manager does not want to write, has anybody heard this before and what is your advice please?

If you asked for a letter from your office and the office has refused,do not go through the back door by cutting coners.
1. Write a letter on a plain sheet in the required format.
2. Get it notarised
3. Write a letter of explanation staying in that your office refused to give the letter and if there is proof through email correspondence include it.
4. Proof of employment : Employment letter ,ID card, payslips bank statement.

5.(Rolling my eyes) for LVO a tattoo of your office logo on a conspicuous part of your body, pictures of you and your colleagues in your office aso ebi, picture of you standing in front of your office sign post and so many more LVO attachments.

6. No 5 is irrelevant

Thank You so much Mama...I will take time to digest your response.
GraciousWords:

Bottom line is to be prepared to go whenever they say "oya" grin

Alternatively, you could do a remedical as soon as your previous medicals expire with or without a request/extension from IRCC. That way what they have on file and have hopefully assessed, (there is a medical assessment backlog apparently and upfront medicals are no longer required for FSW outland applicants (provided an LOE is present)) will be 1 year into the future. Soft landings are supposedly not permitted now anyway.

My understanding is that once they issue you a COPR & visa with a validity date, you MUST travel before that date. COVID-era, if an applicant cannot fly because of travel restrictions and COPR expires, then the applicant needs to wait for IRCC to re-issue expired COPRs....in that scenario you are at the mercy of whatever validity date IRCC puts on the re-issued COPR and visa

HOWEVER, this person says she asked IRCC for an extension though, so it might be possible.....this was pre-COVID: "I also sent an email to London VO requesting for COPR validity until January 2020 because our medicals expire in November and we weren’t sure we would have enough time to land."

Yes IQAS is still accepting but they have limited applications they can take in a day...if u want to, u have to be online and apply at exactly 8:15 Alberta Canada time that's 3:15 nigeria time.

From the way things are it is normalizing and fast...some even get evaluated in 8-10weeks but the normal time is 14weeks now

WOW, Thanks, right now I am stock at ORDER OPTION. Please help me.

CES is actually faster as of now . Because iqas are still sorting out their numerous back logs .

The major thing that delays with CES is acceptance of transcript . I submitted profile feb 23 .
My transcript left Naija month end got to Canada March 9 and signed by the security . It took them one month to upload my transcript as there were plenty mails with only two clerks .

If you want to use CES pls send via email . (Transcript)

Noted. Thanks

Just to be on the safe side.

With IQAS, you're 'guaranteed' a professional degree (PD) equivalence. But creating an application with IQAS is a Herculean task.

Folks here weren’t sure about CES evaluating LLB as a PD last year, except for 1 testimony we got last year.

So yea, I started with IQAS but it was taking too long to create an application. So I switched to CES and created an application almost immediately. Kept trying IQAS and was successful about 3 months later.

I understand now

Hello, for those who registered for the new brunswick information session, do you get an acknowledgement email? I didnt get any

Pls, i am into the new Brunswick immigration process. On March 30th i took part in the seminar to an extent. Out of the slated 2:30mins of the seminar, i was present for 2hrs before the network got distrupted so i couldn't finish with them. Even when i was there, the only thing i saw them doing was talking about the city, the beauty, challenges and experiences of immigrant and not that we were being asked questions concerning our profiles. So pls can u tell me what ended the seminar?
However, i didn't hear from them since that time only to get their message yesterday, apologizing for late response and still sent info about the city to me. My worry is, i only enter the express entry to generate a number which i used for filling the form before i was invited for the seminar. I haven't done anything since that time since I've not heard from them.

false. If you have a masters and 9 years experience you would be on 68 to 70 points which is enough for ita

Read his question again! Obviously, you have digressed. His question was clear, and the answer you gave was wrong. He never mentioned having MSc & 9 years of work experience!

its is an option worth 20 points, its not compulsory to have relatives there. Like i explained above one can still score enough points without relatives. The last 7 or 8 sinp draws have been 70.For Manitoba pnp its compulsory.

Good evening house, I've been a silent reader/ follower of this thread. Please I need explanation on how possible it is for a husband who is in US, who is going to be the PA for Canada immigration for his family while his wife and children are in Nigeria.
Like how easy/ hard will it be considering all the processes, when the family is not together at the moment.
Thank you.

If you take a cursory look at the history of the scores of SINP's invited applicants, you'll appreciate that 20marks! 68-70 ain't close bro! target should be 80-85 to be confident!
