ASAP don’t even dull it unless you want to be banned ( that’s if the refusal is within 6 months )

Thanks, I have already cancelled once to change the date of appointment and the system keep saying I would have to pay another MRV FEES. Please do you think I should just email them to change it? The refusal is more than six month

if the refusal is more than 2months it’s meant to be left as “regular”
So I believe you are correct

Leave it Please. It doesn't matter

Hello guys. Please I made an appointment and I realized I selected *REGULAR* for the Visa Priority instead of *PREVIOUSLY REFUSED*. Please what do you think I can do? Would I need to cancel the appointment?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by olaife123: 7:07pm On May 18, 2021
Allright, thank you so much, How about the accounts to use?

JaySterling:
The embassy uses 420 exchange rate to calculate your naira in your Statement of Account to dollar. That is the exchange rate as at now.

Same exchange rate for visa fee:
Visa fee is $160 x 420 = 67,200

So recalculate what you calculated at 500 with 420

Guys! Is the Ds160 Application No (that starts with Aa******) same as the Confirmation No after completion and submission of the form filling?

With reference to this question.

Can we pay for visa fee and choose an appointment date with that DS-160 AA** number even tho we haven’t fully completed the DS-160 form and submitted?

Started the DS-160 but haven’t completed it and I’m trying to quickly pay visa fee and hustle for appointment date right now.

Hello my experienced people.

Please I need help ASAP.

I applied for Engineering Physics program and SEVIS placed it as "Physics" on my I-20 letter.
A) Should I put it as it is "Physics" on my DS-160 form and then explain to the VO that I'll specialize in Engineering Physics?
Or otherwise

Meanwhile, the school told me this when I asked for a change:

It cannot be changed. They do not know why SEVIS made it that way. The CIP code for Engineering Physics is 40.0801 which is also considered to be "Physics, General"
*This is the information that must be in SEVIS. For some reason, SEVIS considers 40.0801 to be "Physics, General." It is okay that the name does not exactly match up with the name of your program because the CIP code matches. It is correct and cannot be changed to anything else*.

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

Google Search for hotels around Garki , which to me is the reasonably closest area to the embassy. "House 6, Gashua Cl, Area 8, Garki" is one I recommend. Their rates go between 15k and 20k.

Bro just my opinion, you should be comfortable to answer why you want to do the program, how the program will help you, what schools you applied to, why you are going to that particular school you want a visa for, your future plans after finishing the program, if you have plans on returning to the country and if the reasons are strong enough, if you have family members there, if any of them are there illegally or why they didnt return, what assurance is there that you will return, how you are financing your education, is there a strong reason the person who want to sponsor you will, how many depandant the person sponsoring you has, will the person sponsoring you have enough to live comfortably after sponsoring you.

Its around these questions you should expect BUT you need to be able to think fast because they can ask these questions in different ways to confise you and even ask a question multiple times to see if you lie or change mouth. So be very comfortable have good reasons and if possible have mock interviews with people to drill you to the point you are confident and answer calmly.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you update the correct application ID on your profile latest by 3 days before your interview appointment date.
