So what do you want us to do for you?
Are you the only graduate without a job?

You are not supposed to come here and cry.. I saved money to use in starting up a business when graduate.but unfortunately problem came and took it all and even put me into debt. I had to advice my self after graduation that I should learn a skill. Today I don't care about my cert. If job comes good but I now have a option, to either be payed or pay myself. No come here dey cry. If you want enter depression go buy Kpoli take it has helped and is still helping alot of people. Finally if you believe in God pray. Goodluck. But stop all this whining, men dey enter lagos go hustle even when they don't know anybody. If everybody start to tell you their story you go start to give God glory for your condition. Don't just relax keep grinding.

in anything u do, starting is always the hardest....
Try build up your own laundry shop even if it's from scratch, although u may need assistance from friends and relative, but at least u will have control over the income received and with time u will grow it

If you were in the north I would have told you to gather up to 50 people in your area, rent a land and approach nirsal. They will facilitate an agriculture business for you. If you plant rice for only dry season you will be okay for the year.

It takes 200- 300k to plant rice on one hecter of land. But when it matures, it produces up to 80 bags of paddy. One bag of paddy was 15k last time and companies will even come and negotiate before you harvest

Find a place in your parents house to do your laundry service
Just start...
Everything will fall in place for good.

Sometimes what we lack is not job but ideal. You need to put your head to work. Ask yourself some questions, what can i do? How can i do it? Read some motivational and religion books by reducing your sleeping time. Challenge yourself and discipline yourself with fasting and prayers. You will thank me after three months.

You should consider leaving your friend's shop if you are fed up then use any available space in your parents house to start your own laundry service. You'll still be patronized if you are good at what you do.

Going to Lagos, you might be a burden to your relatives, that's why they don't affirmatively tell you to relocate.
It's not easy to survive in Nigeria. Good luck.

I would have loved to remain anonymous, but what's the point?

My problem is I'm a jobless graduate, who works for a friend. This friend I work for, doesn't even pay, he just gives me stipends after every work I do. It's a laundry work. He owns the shop, so he's in charge of everything in the shop including, collections of money and all. My work is just to work. I do virtually everything in the shop.

My problem is this guy almost all the time collects the money and doesn't even give me my share. The only time I see my share is when the I'm around when the monies are given to him.

I'm hooked because I mostly feed in there house, because the shop is just within the house. I tried to get a good job, but nothing is forth coming. I even tried applying for casual jobs, still no luck.

I'm currently in a dilemma because my parents are tired of me staying in there house, so currently I sleep in the shop, and it's not even conducive, but that's the only option I have.

I tried contacting my relatives in Lagos if I could go and make a living there, but they aren't really interested me coming.

Please I kindly need advise and help, because I'm heading towards depression.

I'm actually 30 years old. With nothing to show for, except "I'm a graduate" tag.

Location?

It all depend on the course you took up in the university.
Medical courses won't keep you unemployed for long.
Why don't you take up a teaching job and start from there.

Brother get a 30k to 50k phone and start yahoo game. I started this before I graduated when I realized things were going to be smooth after schooling now I'm doing better staying in 3 bedroom flat in lagos for that matter i won't mention location. I'm saving for business worth 2m right now and also planning to get a ride. Once you know how to read and write. Our government can't help and everybody is a criminal (yahoo) even the so called government officials. Think twice before its late. You can't build house, buy ride with even 200k salary comfortably talk less of doing petty things
