Good day ,please I'd like to ask, can someone travel to the UK with 1month visa validity ,that is if the visa expires in a month time .although I intend to stay two weeks ,,which states I ll be back before the visa expires ..my agent is asking I reapply for another visa even before this current one expires that I will be refused at the point of entry

Hello house is it only British airways that is the only flight to the UK? I just confirmed from waka now and they said that is the only airline. It is very expensive ooo. It is 545,00.

Please for those that have recently travelled, how much did you pay and is there any cheaper airline to travel to the UK?

Good day everyone. Please i need advice.

I am currently applying for a visitor's visa to uk. and the section Details of breach of UK immigration law is confusing me.

I used to live in the uk under a work visa, i applied to move to another category and it was denied. I started an appeal process that lasted 3 years. When i left the UK HO letter given to me said i over stayed from the initial time my visa was refused but during appeal i think it is legal to remain in the country.

Now the options in this section of the application are:

- I entered the UK illegally
- I remained in the UK beyond the validity of my visa/permission to stay
- I breached the conditions of my leave
- I gave false information when applying for a visa, leave to enter or remain
- Other

Do i select - I remained in the UK beyond the validity of my visa/permission to stay

or

- Other

British airways is still on the rise and if you saw 545 for Economy grab it .
Ethiopian and Turkish are cheaper alternatives but remember Turkish tends to have a missing or delayed luggage issue i flew them once to save cost but the transfer and misusing luggage wasn’t worth it.Their on board food is better than BA though that’s a pro.

Hello @irenenwaka and fellow nairalander, I am planning to invite my mother over to the UK for a one month visit between June and July all expense paid. Her profile, a petty trader and also helps dad manages his farm business(Both unregistered)
Documents already put together
1) 3months bank statement from me
2) My resident permit (tier 2 )
3) My birth certificate
4) Invitation letter from me to mum. Purpose stated as it's been over a year that my family left Nig to work in the Uk and I'll like her to visit.
5) Letter from my dad that he and my siblings have no problem with my mum visiting the uk
6) Mum's 2 land doc
7) Letter from me to ECO stating my intention to fully sponsor the trip
8 ) Reference letter from my place of work
9) My passport data page
10) My tenancy agreement for a 3 bed house in London.
11) Parents marriage certificate

Is there any other thing I should add to make the application a success.

Yes i submitted on dec then recieve on jan 12th 2021.for tourist visa though i have a good travel history Germany france uk last visa was 5yrs.God bless u.

U will get more help from the student thread,
However u cnt make these payments with ur nigerican card as they all have limits. These payments can be made by requesting someone u know with outside nigeria to pay whilst u remit naira to dem or buy u openin a Flutterwave account... u will b able to access a virtual dollar card for which u can use for ur payments.

Ihs must be paid complete— durin ur applicatiom it will ask u to input ur course end date, thts how d calculation is done.. whatsoever ur course is due to end is what will determine d amount u owe.

For visa application fee— every tier 4 student visa applicant pays d same rate which is the standard fee.. if u say u want a faster decision then u must standard fee + fee for faster decision.. this makes it two amounts. They aim to conclude standard app within 3 weeks... so if u have time, u can sit with that..

It was cancelled as far back as March

Turkish airlines was still allowed till April ending ,not sure of May (don't forget turkey is now being included in the UK red list)


Your surest bet is BA (though expensive but sure)

You already had a UK visa. I’m asking for someone that has never gotten a UK tourist Visa (who has never been to the UK before getting it during this Covid period without anyone inviting you..
won’t the consular officer just wonder what kind of vacation one is going for during this lockdown?

This is the reason I’m asking for anyone that has gotten a 6 month visa recently so I can be encouraged enough to go apply.

sandra pls can u get all the details from the last uk application so u are sure this your agent has not filled one information which u re not able to continue... any change or discrepancies will open room for more scrutiny plus or minus denial et ban if deception was used.

BA has a cheaper basic economy option where you carry only hand luggage with no checked luggage allowance but then your shopping would be limited.
I googled Dec 14th-28th as an example because a lady on here had those dates.The prices depends on the date but i maintain that this is high season coming on summer.
The search came up with;
Ethiopian 445,520
Turkish 455,210
Ba 779,920

Thanks so much for your help..I contacted him and he said the package doesn't come with an email..personally I don't know the agent,a cousin of mine who works at the airport contacted my big brother and told him there is a special package and I'm going to pay a million +..I gave 600,000 as an initial payment but when it didn't go through because of covid according to them I was refunded 500,000.

Now I want to apply for a new one..I have a limited company I registered since January 2018 which I want to build for six months and then apply November..I have never used that company for any transaction but but I have started fixing it..I want to ask my in-law in Germany to use my company to import the next container he will be bringing to Nigeria,I want him to use my name like three or four times and I also import goods from the UK but not as much as what my in-law brings...
I also want to ask my in-law to be sending all the money he sends my brother for his house project into my business account so I will be the one to pull it after four days then send to my brother..for my personal business I want to always put my own personal money in my business account then keeping sending 100,000 into my private account so once it's 6 months I will print my bank statement and also I will have like 4 million as my balance when I'm doing the printing.
Please is there any other document or information I will be needing for this business visa application?I will be applying like someone going on a business trip..maybe to go buy second hand shoes and clothes then come to Nigeria and sell?
I also would be submitting all the documents I used to purchase all the goods for that six months..please put me through on what I need for a business trip or if I'm on the right part.. God bless.
