shawn55ng:I would advise to avoid hinting that you could resign from your current work, instead try link how ur about to acquire expertise would be of relevance to ur current job and industry at large Because I feel they will want to know instant and long term market viability of the course in your home country. Something worth spending ur savings and investment on. So try tell them how web development will put u miles ahead your colleagues at work and will make ur employer see you as a valuable asset. You can highlight one small improvement you plan to add to the existing mobile application system of ur current employer. Then in a long run hw u plan to train and invest in human capital development in your country My opinion tho Good luck |

shawn55ng:The information on your statement of purpose should be private to you. It is better to contact any of the gurus privately to help review this for you than posting publicly here. I would have loved to help but may not give that quality time to review your work due to lots of coursework in school. You have made some reasonable effort but can be improved upon as noted below; (1) Grammarly is a handy software tool that can help to polish your statement of purpose much better and even scan for text and grammatical mistakes that you might not even notice. Google Grammarly and read more about it. (2) Brief History of Yourself -Highlight critical accomplishments in your workplace that relate to mobile work development and perhaps promotions, if any, in your present job. (3) Proof of Funds See the bolded under the proof of funds - Reg flag! Again, don't give the VO the impression you intend to resign. These are the three I spotted based on my glance; you would need to liaise with any of the gurus to help you review this. Please don't post your SOP publicly here again. All the best. |

I concur with @olasubomy this is a public forum, it's better to contact gurus privately to review your sop. I advise you take it down to avoid being quoted further. shawn55ng: |

olasubomy:Please as said by others, you're not supposed to make it public. Should have written to gurus for review. Kindly check for plagiarism before you submit this. As you have made it public, many who are already about to submit may copy you to edit theirs and submit. Then it becomes that you plagiarized them. Lol. Yes kindly use Grammerly as said. It will surely help you out. Pls delete it before many eyes will see it. |

loffers:1) Yes, but you are strictly allowed to work 20 hours per week during school session, then 40 hours per week during holidays. There is a serious penalty for any international student who do otherwise. See this DISADVANTAGE OF WORKING MORE 20 HOURS DURING SCHOOL SESSION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/81#90313451 https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/81#90313770 2) Yes, a graduate of a 1 year Post Graduate program would be given a 1 year PGWP. a graduate of a 2 years Post Graduate program would be given a 3-years PGWP But note that , not all schools in Canada offers PGWP, so you need to check the school if it does See this HOW TO CHECK IF A SCHOOL IS A DLI & OFFERS PGWP https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/11#89109090 3) Those International Students in Canada who work as a Business Analyst would be able to answer that question. Go to the LIVING IN CANADA THREAD and ask, you would get a based on experience response there See link below https://www.nairaland.com/4933819/living-canada-life-canadian-immigrant/443 4) A Marketing officer can go for a PG. Cert programs in Marketing, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, financial planning You selecting of any of the above programs boils down to the Course outlines of the programs in those schools offering them and how it relates/align to your Work Experience as a Marketing officer.
