Please I want to start a temporary business as a Bolt Driver before I got bank teller offer of ₦70,000 monthly.

A friend told me as a Bolt Driver you can earn up to ₦40,000 to ₦60,000 comfortably 6days in a week.
And if I work harder 7am to 7pm I could earn upto ₦80,000 weekly on Bolt.
But I need to invest by buying my own ride (I've just ₦700,000)

And with the Uber or Bolt I can get to meet many people and I can even freelance Real estate or Housing Agent while driving unlike the bank work that doesn't give you enough time.
Note: I just married and I need to Carter for ther family.

Please what your advise.

Chief listen carefully now, it's true you can make even up to 100k in one week Monday to Sunday. But there is always this other side of the hustle they don't tell you about. The car you will buy for 700k is definitely a Nigerian used car. Maybe a Honda City or Civic, or a Toyota Corolla 2002 or honda EOD. All this cars will not go through that kinda intense working condition without giving you tons of issues. You will see the money yeah! But you won't be able to save it. So left to me I would say, do your bank thingy for 6months and keep saving. When you have like 1.2m then go for an EOD direct toks, from there be rest assured that you will make tons of money before it begins to weaken.
I am telling you from experience too, leave the people you will meet o my brother... Make you no go dey meet LASTMA or Taskforce wish you the best mate.
Another alternative?
You can do both if you are a real hustler. Banker during the week, bolt on weekends and you will help your car last long. Reason am well bros.

As a banker , please focus on bolt what is the future of Bank teller ? It will tie you down , shortages, coverages, atm duty on weekends , not eating on time, Contract Job 10 years the same spot

My brother,go for the bank job,plan and buy a good car. Secobdly,bank job will add to the experiece you need.
Bolt is good but you have to devote time and energy in other to get that amount your looking for.

bank job is equally risky when there's a heist.

This is me Talking from my present experience. And I even drive it in Ibadan oooo, and not the popular Lagos or Abuja. Picture speaks volume

I have worked in a bank and am telling this 100% you will Never have a time for ur self even weekend's.
Once is Sunday u are thinking of preparing for work on Monday.
As a bank teller do u know you can't be too careful,u will short money.(fact)

Advise:
Give urself 6months for the teller job to save remaining balance for the car then quit.

I have some experience about the 2 options.
I will suggest you consider the Bolt option, especially if you are the owner of the vehicle.
Although, the Bolt option is not as lucrative as before. But it's still very okay especially during festive periods.

Please avoid teller jobs as much as you can.

Bolt Driver. You are a boss of your own unlike a bank teller. A bank teller can fired any day over the slightest mistake of #500 unaccounted for

Ogbeni, calm down. They Don't fire cos of #500. U only pay the loss. And mind you it not permanent. Such loss (shortage) happens cos one is pressured and still learning as a teller . And it's rare.

I will advise you take the bank job and keep saving. If you can get the car, get it, and do bolt Friday to Sundays. Use dry cleaner for your clothes.

Weekend work as a banker depends.
Weekend work is being rotated amongst all staff, so it get to your turn maybe once a month or two. Depending on d number of staff in d bank. You ask a colleague who needs small cash to take your turn.

In a heartbeat,I will choose bolt driver. I have worked in the bank previously and I know how that saps your entire time/life.

My interaction with Uber/bolt driver reveals that whether you are the owner or a hireling, you make some coins for yourself. If you are the owner of the vehicle or you do hire-purchase, you have a good income.


Lastly, what is your personal goal? That would determine which option you should take.

Plz do not buy a naija use car for Bolt you will regret it. Add that money and meet someone to give a brand tokumbo car

Dignity how na? Money is dignity. When you have a lot of money you become confident. You earn respect in the society. You can get what you want. Go home when you like. Start work when you like and still earn more than most people who work from 8am -5pm Monday to Friday
