This non capturing of newly employed staffs by IPPIS is something else.
Who knows what is going -on?.

A former VC of a federal university once told my friend's father that IPPIS people do request for slot before capturing.

Could this presidential panel visit be the cause?

Or truly there is still embargo on employment in higher institutions.

Any informed person can enlighten us.

I don't know of universities but as for federal Polytechnic's, I posted APLs for fed Poly Kaltungo last week here. And just yesterday I asked the chair of the Governing Council of another fed Poly in the NE and he told me what was delaying most APLs is that the employment process had to be started afresh to accommodate the interests of the new Governing Councils which were constituted 2mnts ago. I don't think it has anything to do with embargo.

Ï thought as much immediately thé new Governing Councils were constituted. As far as thé whole recruitment exercise will not be cancelled outrightly, lets keep hope alive. Though there is every possibility of dropping some names to accomodate the new candidates.

They should be in the same salary range with Peace Corp and Man O War

They are not on Government pay roll yet because natforce hasn't been fully approved. The natforce bill has passed second reading tho, so there are high hopes that it would be approved soon. Appointment letters are being given out currently, if you have the opportunity to get it, you should. Anything can happen.
