What app is the best to use with cheaper fees? Passfolio, bamboo or trove? I'm based in Nigeria. I noticed passfolio gives free stock on referrals and has lesser fees than others but has a 15 minutes delay in price. Not sure if their stock price is accurate. Dollar is also N503.2 on passfolio.

Passfolio for me.
Zero commission for buying and selling stock.

I don't know about the 15min delay you're talking about.

Whatever their current dollar rate it, the spread is not more than $10. If you currently buy at ₦502/dollar, you'll sell around ₦498/dollar.

Check if Stake is allowed in Nigeria...... The only issue with stake, is the wait period from funds to reflection.....

You also receive a free share, both ways...... wink

Abi na my post go move am enter 100.

Make I happy self

Hmm [deep sigh]. Where do I start from sef?

First off, I just dey reach my hundredth page today (May 22, 2021) and it's been a rollercoaster of cerebral financial education. Before I forget, OakPearl, you're like Ford for investment and wealth management/creation on this forum. Thank YOU! Reading alone, before proceeding to invest, makes me feel rich already, albeit in a sensible and smart way. Not get-rich-quick avenue.

Sha, sha, sha, will read till page 305 - where I believe the thread is now as of today - and continue following this page when I'll begin to make intelligent investments. Oh, sorry! A massive hug and thank you to all other contributors on this thread, too much to mention. Walai grin . Thank you all. Truly, the redemption of Africa from the false narratives of other people lays in our hands, especially as financial freedom is concerned.

Finally ( grin , I nogo add anything after this one), Tommieen - hope I got that right - your engagement on this forum gives me hope that Trove will still be an household name, like the fintech version of what Dangote is to Nigeria. You're very civil, unbiased, well brought-up (judging by your responses to some harsh criticisms), customer-centric. You should consider an executive career in customer services in Nigeria, it's the next goldmine.

Finish grin .

Biko, pardon any typos o. Nobi my fault, I still get like over 200 pages to read coupled with other things I have to do for survival.

I don't think its a good time. All those stocks are taking a trashing as inflation heats up.

Can’t buy $TSLA more than $100. All I need is patience for it to drop to that zone.

lol $100? Not gonna happen man grin grin

If you put all the moving parts together; slow sales in China, rising competition in the industry, weak competitive advantage, production capacity constraint, depletion of government tax credit amongst others, it’s just a matter of time for the price to get there. We continue to observe.

Indeed Tesla is presently overvalued in the sector, but 100dollar? What valuation metrics do you use? Remember Tesla isn't about EVs alone. It's a disruptive AI, smartEnergy, blockchain, insurance, and Service(subscription based) business.

So you are challenging the almighty Cathie Wood who as of 2 days ago bought $39 million of Tesla? Okay.

Cathie wood has a 5 year outlook. Would you be willing to hold Tesla for 5 years given the fact that other automakers are hot on their trail? Ford has released an electric truck. That car would give Tesla a run for their money.

TESLA would have lost so much if truly it still holds her bitcoin .... Don't fall for the gimmick of media saying investment org buying it for long term trash....

Just an observation...

I often find that it's not always worthwhile looking at what stocks famous investors are buying as their investment timeframe may be different to mine (they may be looking to hold for +5 years) and for different reasons (to rebalance their portfolio for instance).

For me investment is a long term game so 10 or 15 years. Look at the likes of Amazon, how they grew overtime. I'm holding JUMIA and Alibaba and NIO etc till thy kingdom come lol na en make na money I no need dey there. Even took a line of credit (4% interest) to go back to school for masters just so I don't touch my stocks

Chaka really disappointed me yesterday. I was supposed to buy Nvidia at $599 but their crazy app kept throwing different errors. Contacted support, they couldn't do anything about it. I woke up this morning and voila, the price has gone up to $624 and it still shows potential to go even higher today.

Abeg who can recommend better apps for foreign stocks with low commission. I'm tired of Chaka.

Yes, trove is still the best in my own opinion because they listen to their customers however, both trove and bamboo are partners to Drivewealth brokers in US
