Wow!!!! This seems like a very good solution. Rather than learn/educate yourself about simple things like using your phone as a mobile hotspot, types of locks etc, just pick the phone like that, and offer a mouth watering deal to the person. I'm also an android person, i have never used an iPhone in my life but it doesnt stop me from knowing the basic things about iPhone because it is my business. As a picker, you should get yourself familiarize with these things, learn and master them, it is very important because na wetin dey put food for your table.

Maybe a phone is on the home screen or not, it is very important that you reset all phones at pick up point. If i told seller to put phone on the home screen and he doesnt do it, is it my fault? Or how will i know if he has put it there or not. Be flexible with your rules especially when you get to pick up locations, check the basics, reset phones and keep your customers updated. Its good to have target pick ups in a day but its worthy to make your customers happy per pick up because what is what doing is what doing well.

I remember when i had issues here about Panic Full and i had to refund Danny 400k or so, i later repaired the phone for 20K and sold it for 450K (thats an extra 30K). My experience from that issue made me seek for solution and i have made nothing less than 500k profit helping people to repair panic full cases. If i didnt take responsibility then, the 500k extra profit wont be in my pocket and people are still contacting me to help them fix panic full.

No, it should be 50:50 or outright refund to buyer

An instruction was sent as pick up request. Instructions sent by buyer supercedes seller's description. Pickers are to work with what was sent.

When picker got to location and discovered the anomaly, she was supposed to receive further instructions from buyer. Calling someone that didn't pick is not a go ahead to pick up, immediately the buyer didn't pick up, Bolu should have left and let it be a failed pick up for the buyer.

And I would reiterate, when there are 2 conflicting information about pick up details, picker is to seek clarity from buyer, if buyer is unavailable, pickers are to stand down.

Personally as a buyer, i'ld go for 50-50 because

1. Picker is my friend.
2. There was lack of communication/understanding on both our ends.

In my opinion I think buyer 65%, picker 35% or better still picker decides. Because if it was the other way round am not sure buyer will pay extra or share the profit 50:50.
For example you send request for 2016 MacBook Pro 15. And picker goes to meet 2019 Macbook Pro 16 and picked it for you without informing you, am sure you will be rejoicing. I don't think picker needs to be punished for every single mistake and not got rewarded for other excellence.
