Siberry: The IELTS exams for UK spouse visa is the general one for settlement. It is written on it, .. choose the B1 exams. B1 is very good and can be used till indentifie leave. A1 is can only be used for the first two and half year. One still write again during the process for FLR. So choose B1. |

Hey guys!! it is a wonderful work you are doing here. I got married to my wife who has a PR in UK last week and I have started my application. but i got some questions. 1. We got married in Lagos and we are currently in Lagos, but I based in Abuja. can I do my Tuberculosis test in Lagos and still apply for Visa application in Abuja? or tuberculosis must be in Abuja? I will resume back to work when I return to Abuja and I may not be chanced. 2. In my Personalized checklist, they Did not add proof of accommodation, is that normal? 3. How much is Tuberculosis test in payment now, that dollar is fluctuating? 4, will i go to TLS before or after submission of my application ? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by monchat(m): 3:48pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
Adewumi2888: My advice from experience. Abuja is far better than Lagos. Do your TB in Abuja because in Lagos you will be stress up and you will not be able to get appointment for the TB. Abuja is orgainsed in getting appointment for TB. I am still struggligling to get an appointment here in lagos. No.4 After your application , you go to TLS to take your biometric. |

Greetings gurus in the house, Pls I need candid advice.. In 2019 I applied for tourist visa through a desperate agent, here are they following he did on my uk data history. I wasn't married yet, he filled am married with a son dependent to make it look as if I have ties here, secondly he stated av been to south Africa and France but no fake stamp was on my passport, thirdly my parents and I wasn't bearing same surname, he has to use same surname with me to avoid surname discrepancy.. Finally I was denied visa but one of the reasons was immigration history and that the account statement wasn't genuine. However, am legally married now and my wife is about to travel to UK with study route and I want to apply with her as dependent Pls how can I go about it? @ justwise and other guru in the house, I need your candid advice. Thank you in anticipation. |

Hello everyone, Its been quite refreshing going though all the threads. I have a question as I didnt see this in the threads I read. I am living in the UK with the kids for 2 years now, hubby is the only one in Nigeria and I was wondering if I can be his sponsor. My children have presettled status, I have resident permit which expires in 2024. My sis is my sponsor, we came through the EEA family permit. My question is can I apply for spouse visa for my husband. I have a job and meet the threshold. We have been married for over 12 yrs now and havent seen each other in 2 years. Your advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Adeyholla: If you have a resident permit, u can apply for your hubby under British rules. You will need to have met the financial requirement of 18,600 pounds. You will have to know the category you will fall under with the kind of job you do. There are different categories, CAT A for the salaried job and non-salaried jobs fall under CAT A, CAT B means when you are combining from different jobs and CAT F is for self-employed. Are you working as permanent staff, or self-employed? As soon as you know the CAT you belong to, it will help you. You will need to meet the accommodation requirement Prove of marriage, marriage certificate, pictures and communications Your hubby has to the IELT exams or Naric to prove his use of English Hubby has to do TB which expires after six months. ( I will advise that he do it when you are ready to apply for him) For the visa fees and IHS, you will need to have the money for it, the amount is close to $5,000 for all the payment of visa fees + IHS TB - N55,700 and IELT is close to 80k. 2 Likes |

Hello great minds, I’m back again oo. So I’m now in the UK on tier 4 student visa. I applied as single but after I got my Visa I got married before traveling. About four weeks ago, I filled a change of circumstance form coupled with wedding pictures and other throwbacks and sent to home office so as to update them about my marital status. Up till now I haven’t heard from them and I hope to apply for my wife’s visa (tier 4 partner dependant) by first or second week of July. Justwise and co please advice |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by mimilyrics: 2:00pm On Jun 18, 2021 |
You don't need to send a change of circumstance form to UKVI so don't expect a response to that. Proof of your marriage need to be submitted with your wife's application. What you need to do is to apply for your wife's student dependant visa in accordance with the guidelines and you'll be fine. abby2443: |
