It is as if we as Nigerians are loosing our ability to think for ourselves or be the pioneers of something new.

We are getting to the point in Nigeria where we can no longer be innovative but have to prefix any laws - or things we want to do in Nigeria - with something like, “It happens in America also” or ‘the following law or development we wish to proceed with also was done in America” or else Nigerians will be up in arms and want to destroy something or break away.

Why use the picture of another country's military on a notice concerning our own military? We should be proud of our own. That picture is not a Nigerian soldier, our army is totally against tattoos, but there you have a fully tattooed white man in a foreign uniform on a notice that concerns the Nigerian military and its citizens.

A drawing would have been better. But well, what do i know.

It's this same you who would laugh if you hear robbers are attaching them inside barracks. You might think it's not possible but that has been the norm there. Also the area is surrounded not only by bandits but by their sympathisers who know them but chose to give them cover during pursuit.

Oga stop exhibiting hypocritical idealism here. Only criminals or extremely irresponsible people jump through the fence to enter or leave a premises when there is a main entrance. I can't even imagine a normal human being jumping through the fence of a millitary barrack without fear consequence in this dangerous time Nigeria is going through.

I believe the barrack giving this warning is just being nice because they don't even need to give such warning. Any idiot climbing the fence ought to have been shot immediately without warning.

No my friend... You can only be shot if you are considered a threat via violence i.e. Like a gun in hand and you still have to be warned and given the opportunity to obey orders , get identified before you being shot.

Even a war zone have rules of engagement talk less of a barracks that have hundreds of civilians living in there in Nigeria.

Your thoughts are absolute nonsense. Even in some private properties, if you enter through the wrong means, you will be shot and nothing will happen. You know why? Cuz it's private property and as long as there is a sign outside that says trespassers will be shot and you still went ahead to trespass, nothing will happen!. The Jaji military cantonment authority just passed a warning flier that anyone caught jumping through the cantonment Fence will be shot on sight. The flier was written in different language for passerby to understand soi that there won't be an excuse of lack of awareness or whatsoever. Please pass same message to all.

Due to the incessant breach of security around Jaji Military cantonment, hence forth, anyone seen crossing into Jaji cantonment through the fence will be shot immediately. Stop crossing into the cantonment through the fence or any other illegal route. Be warned!

Those who jump fence either doesn't have a gate pass or their gate pass have expired.If you fall into these categories you won't be allowed entry into the barrack even if your father,brother or sister is a soldier.Expect they walk to the gate to take you in.So most of them jump the fence.Living in the barrack as a civilian is like living in prison.
